After studying Wayne Dyer I think their might be a possibility that Wayne could have manifested cancer by his actions early on in life. He has been alocohol free for 20 years, but his choices on how he treated his body back then could have lead to this.
My ex girlfriend who is still an alcoholic has treated her body horribly and unfortunately she too has cancer. Why isn't it possible for all the negative energy we are exposed throughout our lives, if not managed and released properly by the mind, to manifest itself in a concentrated area like it does with breast cancer, lung cancer etc.
When she first found out she was diagnosed it was clear to me by observing her behavior in the 8 years I had known her that there was a link to how she treated her mind/body and the manifesting of cancer.
There is good news though. Because she has been through so much she will make a great motivational speaker once she gets on her feet. For Wayne Dyer I see this only as a blessing for him which I think is a great way to think about it. By thinking about a positive outcome I hope to be sending the kind of vibrational energy that will help him reach his calling in life.
Since Waynes calling in life has been helping other people, how great of a reward is it to have all those people he has helped, think and pray for his wellness. He now has the opportunity to help people who are diagnosed with cancer find a much deeper meaning to life, a thought everyone without cancer could also ponder. "With every adversity, every failure, every heartache, carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit." Napoleon Hill

If I ever become famous, I will be willing to have people see my choices. But I can understand why someone would want complete privacy. I just want to go to cool celebrity parties!

Merrill,
I understand your frustration. This is a subject of deep thought and can be confusing to everyone.
Think of it this way. Cancer is not a revelation of a single thought or action, but the culmination of thoughts and feelings over many years. Your loved ones may not have been thinking "give me cancer", but may have been thinking and feeling in such a way that the combination of those thoughts and feelings triggered a sub-atomic level reaction that manifested in the creation and spreading of cancer. These thoughts and feelings, by the way, probably were not evident to you, just as your thought and feelings are not evident to anyone else, unless you tell them. It is a secret life that we get to decide to live right inside our own skin. No one in there right mind would ever wish for cancer, but the body is a physical manifestation of what we are thinking and feeling.
I hope this helps you.

I'm not saying that growing old and declining into poor health is a given. I'm just saying that everything in the universe, the planets, the stars, our own sun, decays and dies. Our "souls" are eternal, but our bodies are not. In the end, we transition out of our bodies into something more.
Please understand that I'm not trying to be argumentative. I just really do not understand this concept. I've had a number of people in my family die from cancer, and I can't imagine any of them attracting it from the universe.
I appreciate all of the GP community's comments. This is a great ride!

I don't mind taking credit for the good things I attract so this is nice to read about not having to worry about the s**t that comes sometimes. I agree that living in fame might add pressure. Yet we are all the same really...

I am glad that I don;t have the pressure to be perfect. I just enjoy whatever I am doing and that is enough.

I think the confusing part for people is the idea that we create everything. Cancer is a symptom created, not thrust upon someone. Now why a person aligns with it is part of their own personal journey. It can be a blockage, that manifests as "dis-ease" or it can be related to something else. In the end it is always a vibrational match to their offering. As I understand it, growing old and declining into poor health is not a given, but it is a wide spread belief.
