Law of Attraction and Health: Flexibility Is A Virtue!

I was doing yoga this morning and had a little insight that I was to share with you. As I went into each pose and posture, I noticed the places where I am holding on and resisting my more flexible self. Obviously, the outcome of yoga and stretching is better flexibility, but today I really felt strongly how much my own vibration plays in the process. You can try this today too. You can do it right at your computer. Simply cross one leg, or bend over as if to touch the floor. If you are already flexible, you may be able to do this without any resistance in your body and muscles. See if you can get to a place where you sense this resistance…a place where your body tells you “OK, that’s far enough.” Now stay there and just notice your thoughts. Tell yourself this affirmation: “I am flexible, allowing, loving, and healthy. I love every cell in my body right now.” Say this several times to yourself and notice what happens in the areas of resistance. What I found this morning was that the areas of holding and resistance melted away from my awareness immediately, and I was peaceful and pain-free in the posture. I could then choose to start the cycle again by going deeper into the pose, or deciding that I would find a new position. I realize that this is really the essence of yoga practice, but insights come when they are ready to be learned, and I had one today. How many times have I done my yoga for an hour and just gone “through the motions?” I think this is because we live in a fast-paced world, and it can be hard to stop and notice the little things sometimes.
One other insight came to me as well. How flexible am I in my life? I want to think I am open to new ideas and new ways of thinking. I want to use Law of Attraction to help allow everything I want, and to keep me moving forward on the leading edge. But how many times a day do I “just go through the motions” of living? Do I eat the same things, take the same route for a walk, drink the same kind of coffee, and the like? How flexible are my habits of thought? When I feel a need to walk the same route to my office, is it a habit of thinking that is a sign of inflexibility in my vibration? Maybe so. I am going to notice today when I have opportunities to practice and hone my flexible nature. It’s already started in my yoga practice, so why not extend the yoga to the rest of the day? You can too. Let me know when you have success being flexible. I’ll report back too. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP
