The Law of Attraction is a wonderful law. It is a fair and consistent law that states that “that which is like, unto itself is drawn.” Another way of saying this is “like attracts like.” Whatever you offer to the world and the Universe through your vibrational existence is matched by Law of Attraction with other things that are similar in vibration. On a practical level, thins means that what you think, feel and do makes a big difference in terms of what you are attracting and manifesting in your life. On the flip side, if you want to know the vibrational average of you have been thinking, feeling, and doing, just examine your life; everything in it is a perfect vibrational match to what has come before it. So how are you doing right now? Really well…pretty good…or does life kinda suck lately?
No matter where you stand in this moment, you always have access to thoughts, feelings, and actions that will improve the way you feel. Notice that I didn’t say that you will always have access to good-feeling thoughts and actions. All I said was that you always have an opportunity to feel better, and feeling better is what it is all about. There is never a need to jump right from depression to bliss, and you probably couldn’t do it even if you tried with all your might. The two vibrations are too far apart. Instead, always reach for thoughts that feel better, but that feel possible too. You have access to powerlessness from depression, for example…and powerlessness doesn’t feel good, but it does feel better because feeling powerless at least feels like something, where depression feels completely hopeless and disconnected. From powerless you now have access to grief and fear, and on up the vibrational/emotional scale you can travel.
After a while you will begin to remember that all this stuff in life is really just a cosmic game made for the fun of playing. Each person is completely in control of their focus and attention, and as you focus you create your vibrational point of attraction. Law of Attraction sends you stuff and people and events that are of a similar vibration to the signal you send out all day every day. As they say, when it rains, it pours. Whatever you are getting is what you will keep getting unless you make a change in your focus. But how do you make this change? Here are a few tips for you:
- Be grateful today for what you already have.
- Make a choice to feel better and better throughout the day.
- Commit random acts of kindness when you can.
- Compliment everything! People, animals, and even yourself can benefit from a few nice complements every day.
- Relax and enjoy each moment even more today. Be for things but never against things.
You always can feel better, and you can decide that joy and bliss are for you. Feeling better is always a choice, and it’s YOUR choice. Are you ready to attract more of what you want into your experience? Then start by climbing up the emotional ladder more often every day, until it seems like the most natural thing you could ever do. Your life will become a reflection of the things you have been asking for for a long time, and all your family and friends will know you have learned some kind of secret. This summer I did something I haven’t done in years. I was visiting family and there was a large puzzle on the kitchen table in the process of being completed. Working on a puzzle looks so boring, and I hardly consider it as an activity worth spending time on. But I was on vacation, and I really wanted to spend time with family members, so I started working on the puzzle with them. I have to say, it is way more fun to work on a puzzle than it is to watch someone else work on a puzzle.
I suppose that is a good analogy for life as well: it’s so much fun to be a thriving part of an expanding and fulfilling life than it is to watch someone else thriving and expanding. Luckily, we all get to choose how our life expands through the Law of Attraction, and if there is something we want, we need only give our full attention to it and allow it into our experience. There is another great parallel to life and a puzzle: if you do the whole puzzle in anticipation of how you will feel when you put the last piece in place, you will have a lot of hard work for a small payoff at the end. And most likely, like life, you probably won’t feel a huge thrill when the last piece is in place…it will feel like the next logical step, and you will probably be ready for another puzzle. The trick is enjoying the process of putting it together, and having lots of little thrills along the way to enjoy, knowing that the end is not the goal.
If you live your life like a beautiful puzzle, there will be some immediate advantages to you. Here are some that come to me this morning:
- You know you are making something beautiful.
- You have many triumphs along the way.
- Small roadblocks release into times of great progress, as you find a section of pieces that fit together.
- You know that there is order to it all, and you can relax into full awareness that all is well, and that everything you need is provided.
- You have a job: to find the next piece. Your job is not to finish it all with the next piece, nor could you if you tried to.
- With every piece added, the whole scene gets more and more beautiful.
- Problems (pieces not found) on one day get a new perspective on another day, and you “see” things you missed the previous day.
- Others can help you see things you were missing as well.
- You don’t try to force pieces that look close but don’t fit, but rather you relax and know that the right piece is out there to complete your perfect image.
- On some level you realize that it’s really just a game. It’s probably not your first or last puzzle, so there is no rush to complete it so that you can be deserving. You are exactly in the right place at the right time, right now…doing today’s puzzle.

Coming back from vacation last week, I had numerous opportunities to practice allowing, Law of Attraction, and the importance of the vibrational/emotional scale. This story begins in the Denver airport where I was scheduled to connect from Kansas City, MO to Long Beach, CA. I got to the gate and heard an announcement for an over-sold flight; they were giving $400 toward future travel that was fully transferable and good for one year. I had nothing in particular to do when I arrived home that evening, so I decided to accept the offer and give up my seat on the 1:00 p.m. flight. They re-booked me on the 9:00 p.m. flight, and I was off to have lunch, relax, and enjoy my $400 in travel vouchers in my mind. Perfect timing, I thought.
When the time came to board the 9 p.m. flight, there was a delay…and another delay. People around me began to grumble, but I just made the best of it and listened to some music on my iPod. Finally, they announced that the flight had been canceled and that they would re-book everyone on a flight in the morning. Most people were visibly angry, and a few people lost their temper with the gate agent. I took this as an opportunity to practice feeling better, as I could also feel the initial pain of the disappointment. I stayed quiet, sat to the side, and thought about all the things that were going right in that moment: I had a flight in the morning, nothing to be late for, a hotel that they promised to give me, meal vouchers to use, and a chance to make the best of it. I reached for the best thoughts I could find. In a little time I felt optimistic about how this would all pan out.
The line for re-booking was not moving very fast, but I relaxed and practiced more gratitude in my thinking. Soon, an agent announced that the Service Desk at gate 84 was open to help us. About half of the passengers made a bee-line for gate 84, and I decided to go with them. On the way, I talked with a nice woman who was not feeling great. I said, “this is a great opportunity to get a first-class seat!” She looked puzzled. I said, “the agents will have angry people in their face all night, and I intend to appreciate them, smile, and let them know that I am open to whatever they can do to help me.” Of course, you have to be high on the vibrational scale to pull this off, and I could tell that I was at least optimistic, and moving up to expectation fast. Now it felt like a fun and frisky adventure.
At gate 84 the line was very long, and the grumbling from people continued. In about 15 minutes another desk opened about 80 feet away. They called out to the line, but somehow, I appeared to be the only person to hear the announcement. I turned and walked to the desk and then realized that I was the first person in a line of one. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. I smiled and explained how I gave up my seat for this canceled flight, and the agent said “I remember you from this morning.” She smiled. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. I said how much I appreciated her, and that I knew how hard it was to re-book so many people. She told me that the first confirmed seat would be on the 6 p.m. flight the next day, but that she could put me in first class. I smiled and said “that would be just great.” Then I asked, “is there another earlier flight?” She typed and said that I could standby on the 12:00 noon flight. Then she said, I can put you at the top of the standby list if you want. I said “That would be great…thanks.” “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. She then said that she could put me in the Renaissance Hotel, a very nice hotel. I said “That would be great…thanks.” “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought.
The next day I found my way to the gate 89 at 11:00 a.m. to see if I could get on the flight. On the way I was practicing feeling good while hoping to see a Starbucks and get a cup of coffee. I didn’t see one on my way, but when I got to the gate, I DID see one. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. Well…I almost got on the flight, but the last two passengers made it there at the very last second. “That’s fine,” I thought. I’ll make the best of this day. I got more work done and enjoyed the afternoon. When I finally got into my first-class seat, I was feeling good, probably around the happiness/passion level on the emotional scale. The outcome was a fabulous flight with food, drink, and lots of smiles and laughs with the flight attendants and other passengers. I just love first class. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought.
This story represents one plot line that could have turned out very differently. From the moment I felt the disappointment of the canceled flight, I could have spiraled downward on the vibrational scale. I could have had 21 hours of disconnection and hell…but I didn’t. Instead, I had a great time enjoying a bunch of free stuff with fun and happy people. Everybody has this ability to choose the thoughts they entertain. YOU have the ability to enjoy “reality” or hate it. The next time you have an opportunity like I had, make the best of it, reach for the best thoughts you have access to, and look for the magic of the Law of Attraction. Life is supposed to be fun. Law of Attraction is a fair and consistent law, and it works even when you aren’t aware of it. All you do is think and feel and act, and think and feel and act, and then observe the results you get in your life. The Law of Attraction tunes into your vibration, which is the sum total vibrational average of your thoughts, feelings, and actions over time. What your life is right now is a perfect reflection of your vibrational offering in the recent past. People wonder why they can experience something unpleasant even when they feel good in the moment, and this is because it is your average vibrational offering that creates your point of attraction, and this point of attraction is what Law of Attraction matches and magnifies in your experience.

So if you feel snarky most of the time, and you talk about things in terms of your disappointment with the present, it makes sense that Law of Attraction will line you up with more critical, cutting, snide, cranky, and irritable experiences for you to “enjoy,” even when you feel happy for a few moments at a time. The key to all of this is to turn the emotional corner and find a way to feel better more of the time.
Feeling better is the key, but changing your behavior is the goal. If your life is not thrilling you enough, you have to change the input that creates your point of attraction, and then Law of Attraction will also work for you in more pleasing ways. Here are a few tips for turning the emotional corner, and all of these ideas can make you think, act, and feel differently.
- Exercise more. Take a walk, run in the woods, or get on a stationary bike. While you exercise, tell yourself: “I am opening to my greater health, and my body is very wise. I give myself love and health, and I receive love and health from the Universe.” Feel every cell in your body respond to your affirmations. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Eat Better. No matter what you have been eating, change your diet a little. The phrase “you are what you eat” is a good rule of thumb, so if you want to feel differently, try eating differently. Do a juice fast, or a true fast. But a cook book and make some new meals that you haven’t made before. notice that the food makes you feel differently. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Talk Less. That’s right. Talk less. If your point of attraction has you lining up with things you don’t like, you are probably in a habit of talking about things in a disconnected way. Talk less, and listen more. Even observe the way you talk to yourself in your own mind. Be kind to yourself, and love yourself more. Let whatever cognitive dissonance your have going melt into awareness of your perfect relationship to love and allowing. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Practice Optimism. While you are talking less and observing your thoughts more, turn your thoughts into better-feeling, more positive statements. Make it a game, and enjoy the process. Fr example, if you are doing something and you are beating yourself up, do it a little less. If you say “I really suck at this,” notice, laugh to yourself, and think again. Say “do over” and tell yourself “now I may suck at this, but I am getting better and better with every try. Soon I will suck less at this.” minor change…big vibrational shift. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Stop “should-ing” on yourself. Do you do things just because you “should?” Doing this can evolve into acting by default, and living out patterns of actions and thoughts that mess up your pint of attraction. Do everything because you choose to, and not because you feel you should do it. I would wager that at least 20% of the actions people choose are by default because they feel they are supposed to do it that way. Get your “should” together. You are turning the emotional corner.
See if doing all of this makes a difference to the way you feel. If it does, you are turning the emotional corner. When you think, feel and act differently then your life must change. I look forward to hearing about your successes. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

I was walking the other day and started noticing the voices in my head. Before you think I am crazy (which my friends would say I might be) remember that we all talk to ourselves in our mind. There seems to be a constant chatter going on commenting on everything that is happening all the time. Sometimes when I meditate I can get it to calm down but it is mostly always there. You probably have noticed the same thing.
So on my walk I started observing what the chatter in my mind was. I think because of the rhythm I was walking to, I was mostly singing songs to myself. The songs were songs I know or have known from my past. I had to ask the question, “what vibration am I reinforcing with these songs?” I know Law of Attraction always hears what you say and vibrate. The words to the song I had in my head when I started noticing all of this went like this: shot to the heart and you’re to blame…you give love a bad name!” I like this song, and I love Bon Jovi. But I had to decide if it was a good use of my walk and inner talk time to be repeating these words to myself. So for fun, I sang the song but changed the words a bit: love with your heart it keeps you sane…I give love a good name!” Just singing the new words to myself made me laugh and smile, and I swear I could feel my vibration raise. I felt better. So notice today what you say to yourself and see if it raises your vibration. If it doesn’t then change the words, the song, of the theme of your inner voices. It works for me and perhaps you will feel a positive difference in your vibration too. I hope so.
If you don’t tend to sing songs, just notice what you say to yourself in your mind. Are you kind to yourself, or do you put yourself down? Are you optimistic, or do you expect things to go wrong for you? You are in charge of the words you think. You have the control to make a positive change at any time you choose to. Law of Attraction will always respond and magnify your average vibration, and the words you think and the way you feel is what creates this vibration. Thanks for reading. There are times that I can’t relax because I am trying so hard to accomplish something. I get the feeling that if I just try a little harder, or focus a little more I will finally be done doing the thing I am doing. This can certainly be true when the thing is paying the bills, or painting a house, or doing the dishes. But what about when you assign that frame of mind to larger aspects of your life, like attaining enlightenment, perfecting your tennis game, or becoming wealthy and prosperous? In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be “done” and can then “arrive” in some new place or mindset.
Have you ever heard yourself say: “I’ll be happy when I can pay these bills’” or a similar statement. When you do this, you use Law of Attraction to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only responds to your vibration and not your words. So saying “I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens” keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place.
We are all eternal beings, and there is no “there” to get to. The best way to have everything you want right now is to enjoy everything you have right now. There is a perfection in our imperfection…our journey can’t be completed…because it never ends. So don’t wish for the better day to come. Instead, look for the evidence that makes THIS day your best day so far.
Find as many excuses as you can to love your journey right now. Be grateful for everything you have today. No matter what you are doing today, find the perfection in the process. If you love your NOW, you will start ushering in amazing new NOWS as your future becomes the present over and over again. You will no longer long for your work to be over so you can relax into your wellbeing, because you will already be relaxing into the best part…and the ONLY part we have access to…the present. Optimism is one of he best tools for working effectively with the Law of Attraction. When you are optimistic, you are open to seeing things the way you want to see them. Remember that Law of Attraction responds to your average vibration over time, so it is key to hold a vibration that matches what you want to attract into your life. This means that you shouldn’t contradict your own desires if possible. But as humans, we tend to let our vibration swing between different emotions all the time. Sometimes you are hopeful, and then you might feel contented, and then bored, and then optimistic…your vibrational offering is really a moving target. If you can bring your thoughts, feelings, and action into a more focused offering, then you can attract more consistent results and enjoy every moment of your life more and more. Reginald B. Mansell said it well when he noted that “A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities; an optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties.”
I woke up this morning thinking about the song “The Greatest” by Kenny Rogers. If you haven’t heard this song, you can hear it HERE. This song goes to the heart of how optimism and Law of Attraction work together. The boy in the song absolutely feels that he is the greatest ball player ever to walk the planet, and his vibrational offering is pure. And when the world gives him evidence to the contrary, he holds fast to his belief and makes the best of it. When you do this in your life, you summon the energy that creates Universes, and you open to manifesting the reality of your belief and desire. You don’t quit on your desire when most others would quit. You stay with the vibration long enough to see it become your reality. Read the words to yourself and feel the power and joy of the optimism in this song:

I know that some people think optimists are fools who sift through bad things and delude themselves. In fact, Don Marquis said that “An optimist is a man who has never had much experience.” But remember that Law of Attraction just reinforces what you ask for, so everyone is “right” in the debate. If you think the world sucks, the world will suck for you most of the time. If you think the world is beautiful, you will attract beauty to you much of the time. This may be why Sir Winston Churchill was quoted as saying “For myself I am an optimist – it does not seem to be much use being anything else.”
Today, look for the best in things as much as possible. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Be optimistic about the wellness and prosperity you are attracting. Talk about it like it’s here right now, and enjoy the feeling of having it today. You will increase your joy, and you will uplift others as well. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

Are there are times in your life when you feel you are exactly where you are supposed to be? Sure there are! These are great times because you feel no need to hurry away or fix something that is already done. The Universe is at rest and everything is in place. I like to call this feeling “Divine Order” because it seems like everything in creation has come together to put me in the right place at the right time. Divine Order is the basis of All That Is, and it is one of the rules of existence in this reality. Everything unfolds in its perfect order, and there are no mistakes.
But I must admit that there are times that I don’t feel like everything is working out correctly. Sometimes I feel like things don’t go my way regardless of how hard I try to make it so. Why does it seem like Divine Order fails me in those times? Well, we know that the Law of Attraction is always matching you up with more of your average vibration…and we know that what you vibrate and what you get is always a perfect match. So the reason that Divine Order sometimes seems to be out of order stems from our own inability to monitor what we are vibrating outward through our thoughts, feelings, and actions. As you become more and more aware of how you feel, you will observe the connection of how you feel to the results you get in your experience. The order of events and the experiences you attract will always be a match to your vibration.
I refer to Divine Order frequently to help me remember to relax, and also to help me stay optimistic and to expect the best. If I am behind a slow driver, I think about how I am being held back a bit to arrive at my destination at exactly the right time. When I get up, I think about how no matter how fast or slow I shower and dress, I will be in alignment with Divine Order and in the right place at the right time. When I approach my work parking lot, I tell myself that I always get a parking spot, and that my timing is perfectly coordinated with Divine Order to make a space appear as I arrive. It almost always does appear. And when it doesn’t, I move on to the next lot knowing that once again, things are in their perfect order. I expect something else to go my way because of the experience.
Do you believe in Divine Order? Do you believe that you are guided to be in the right place at the right time? I think it is more fun to believe in this concept than it is to worry about controlling things that you can’t control. If you accept the workings of Divine Order, you can relax more, and you can take in the joys of life more fully. Let yourself feel the perfection of your life today. Every moment is your perfect arrival into the present. Live and love today knowing that you are supported by Divine Order. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

If you have read the FAQ page on this site, you know that we want you to feel better when you visit Gratitude Planet. We want you to feel good, of course, but no one feels good all the time. If you think you need to always feel good, you will beat yourself up when you realize that you are a little cranky, angry, or snarky. Feeling good is a great goal, and feeling good is part of the equation that helps you harness the positive power of Law of Attraction. But when you know you don’t feel good, just do your best to feel a little better. It’s all about the Vibrational/Emotional scale.
You only have access to thoughts that are near your present emotional set point. This set point is determined by the thoughts you have been thinking recently. If you feel, say, irritated, then you have access to an emotion that feels a little better (pessimism) as well as an emotion that feels a little worse (frustration). None of these emotions feel good, but one does feel better. By reaching for the one that feels better, you can achieve vibrational harmony with it. You will feel a little relief in your emotional set point, and your new vibration puts you in proximity to an even better-feeling thought: Boredom!
But what if you want to go right from irritation to bliss? The answer is that you simply can’t do it. Look again at the Emotional/Vibrational Scale, grouped in order from the worst feeling (bottom) to the best feeling emotions (at the top):

Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness

What ever you feel, you can only move up or down one or two emotions at a time. To go from irritation to bliss, then, is just not going to happen. You can pretend to be happy, but you will not really feel it. Instead, reach for the best feeling thought you have access to. The idea is to climb out of your disconnected thoughts one by one until you get to ones that feel good. Once you feel good, you will automatically attract more of what you desire. Exercise is a necessary ingredient to a healthy lifestyle, and making your exercise fun is a key component to doing it over the long term. When exercise is fun, fitness is easy. Haven’t you noticed that the things you actually like to do are always easy to do, and the things you dread the most are almost impossible to bear? I totally understand the mindset that pre-paves both of these experiences, yet it can be difficult to break out of old habits of thought to create and sustain a new vibration around exercise and fitness. Mark Twain (1835-1910) said that “A habit cannot be tossed out the window; it must be coaxed down the stairs a step at a time.” Sometimes all we need is a little “get up and go” (combined with fun) to change our habits a little at a time. Here is what I suggest: Take a Gratitude and Connection Walk. When I walk, I make it more fun by using my imagination, thoughts, and deliberate focus to feel better. Feeling better equals fun to me, and you probably feel much the same way.
Here’s how it works. Look at something…anything…that catches your attention. It can be a house in the neighborhood you are walking through, or a car, or a bird, or a trash can…anything you observe in your immediate environment.Simply say to yourself “I see a house…and I like its (fill in the blank).” So for example, someone might say, “I see a car, and I appreciate its deep blue paint job.” If you see something and you can’t think of anything to be grateful or appreciative about concerning it, find the best thought you have access to about it. This might sound something like “I see a dented car, and I appreciate that it’s not mine!” It’s OK if you just chuckle at yourself; but you did well finding something that felt true, and something that was the best thought you could think in the moment. The next thing you see, if you stick to reaching for gratitude and appreciation, will probably provide better things to like. Look for them, find them, and say them. Before long, the vibration within you will start to raise and expand to a very connected and blissful place.
One word of caution, however. This game can be played in the opposite direction, where you put down, make fun of, or become critical of the things you see. This will expand the vibrational range downward to thoughts that feel worse and worse the more you think them. The beauty is that you get to choose the direction that your thoughts flow, and when you feel better, everything looks, tastes, feels, and smells better. Your fifteen-minute walk that used to feel like two hours will feel more like fifteen minutes, and the fun you have raising your vibration will become the immediate payoff for your exercise. Instead of thinking “I really should take a walk today” you will begin to crave your Gratitude and Connection Time instead. Go ahead and get out today, alone or with a few close friends, and enjoy being deliberate about your joy! Be.Love, Hannya-GP

The great American car maker Henry Ford was father of the modern assembly line. He is credited with the above quote, and these words give us insight into the prosperity thinking of this great entrepreneur. Through his attitude, business savvy, and his creativity, he became one of the most wealthy and well-known men in the world. I am not sure if he consciously thought about the Law of Attraction, but his words in this quote suggest that he may have. When you believe something strongly, powerful forces join your belief, and the forces of the Universe align to attract the reality of the belief to your daily life. It is the belief that comes first, and then the physical manifestation follows. Life, then, can be said to be a self-fulfilling prophecy created by your focus and attention.
So what do you want to focus on today? What have you been asking for? You don’t need to attract everything you have ever asked for, and trying to do so would probably feel overwhelming. Instead, sit quietly and decide on one or two things that you would like to increase in your experience today. Do you want more people to treat you well? Then see this in your mind, and decide that you will attract kind people even more today than yesterday. Do you want more time? Then decide that you have all the time you need to do all the things you need to do. See this in your mind, and imagine yourself having such perfect timing that you get back all kinds of time. Do you want expanded prosperity? Then decide that you will attract more resources to you today. Believe that the Universe is working on your behalf to align you with these things, and let the Law of Attraction do the magical part: attracting everything you need to you.
If you decide that people should be nice to you today, you will look for the evidence of it all day. An interaction that wouldn’t normally get you attention will make you pause and appreciate how well you were treated. You will begin to re-frame your reality to conform to your beliefs and expectations, and you will expand the “reality” of the condition. It works on two levels: your optimism, and the work of Source Energy. You optimism comes from deciding what you expect to see, and then holding fast to the excitement of knowing it is coming. The actual physical manifestation comes to you as Source lines up people, circumstances, and events to make your desires manifest into form. Henry Ford said, in essence, that no mater what you expect to see, you will see it. You are always right. Then why not decide to see what you want to see? Why not attract the things you want? Let yourself enjoy this process even more today, and be grateful for the magic of life, and the ease with which you can harness the Law of Attraction. You are always right, so today take a step toward believing that everything you desire is speedily on its way. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

If you are feeling in the vibrational range of optimism or higher, it can be fun to go on a rampage of gratitude and appreciation. What you do is start naming things you love and appreciate, and let it snowball out of control. Let it lift you even higher into Expectation, Belief, Happiness, Passion, Love, and all the way to Bliss! It is important to be feeling at least in the range of optimistic before you try this, because you need access to thoughts that feel good to begin. If you are feeling, say, frustrated you will only have access to thoughts close to frustration, such as irritation or overwhelment. You CAN feel better by moving upward from frustration, but this game is not a good one unless you are already in a connected vibration.
Here is what you do: Say “I love (fill in the blank). Then say I appreciate (fill in the blank). Then perhaps, I am grateful for (fill in the blank). If you run out of things to love, appreciate or be grateful for, go more into depth about one of the things you already mentioned in a previous statement. For example, if you said “I appreciate my car,” and then draw a blank, follow up with “I love that my car is so dependable.” The fun really starts when you get a flood of ideas to be grateful for and to appreciate. The Law of Attraction states that two vibrations that are alike are drawn together. You are a vibrational magnet that calls more of the same unto yourself. Because of this, it has been stated that you can be, do, or have anything you want. Anything is possible as long as you become a match to whatever it is that you want. Sounds good in theory, but what if I want to be an astronaut? What is the chance that a 40-something guy who teaches for a living will suddenly become a space traveler? Quite unlikely. So is the premise that you can be, do, or have anything flawed and untrue? No. It’s true, but some clarification needs to be made.
I may not be able to be an astronaut in the strictest sense, because I wouldn’t be able to start over and become a fighter pilot, or be in the right place to study and train at NASA, and I wouldn’t be chosen to go on a mission over the many other well-trained men and women ready to serve in that capacity right now. But the real thing working against this dream is the lack of vibration I have around it. Up to this point, I never wanted to be an astronaut, so I haven’t built up much energy to attract people and circumstances to me through Law of Attraction. What I have attracted is a match to what I have asked for so far, and stopping on a dime and changing my vibration to something totally different is possible, but unlikely. So the first clarification is that I CAN’T be, do, or have anything…but rather I have to want it first, and then I can be, do, or have anything I really want. If you want it, it is possible. If you can become a match to anything, it must become your reality.
OK, you say, but what if today you decided you really, really wanted to go to space? Then what? Is it possible? Yes, if I want it, it is possible. But how? First, I would start focusing only on thoughts that aligned with this goal. I would pay attention to how I feel when I think these thoughts. I would be sure to feel good about the goal, and not sabotage my vibration with doubt. Then I would look for any evidence that the Universe was providing for progress toward my goal. Perhaps I would meet people in the space industry who want to talk to me about the goal, or I would find myself watching TV shows about the topic. Every bit of evidence would be followed up by more optimistic thinking around the goal. “This is possible for me, and I am going to space,” I might say frequently. Law of Attraction would then begin to snowball circumstances and events to bring me greater and greater evidence of the goal. I might get a chance to go to a space camp or meet someone who is starting a company to send civilians into space. If I really followed this with my focus and desire, and if I didn’t contradict my own desires with out-of-the-Vortex thinking, then it would be possible for me to orbit the Earth in a spacecraft. I can do it.
Many people don’t think this is possible because they say they want things that they aren’t willing to pursue vibrationally. I can’t be an astronaut unless I have a strong desire to be one. You can’t lose weight unless you want to lose it enough to attract a “thin vibration,” which means focusing on thin and being single-minded and optimistic about thin. You can be, do, or have anything you want. So what do YOU really want? Are you willing to attract it unto you? If so, let yourself feel the essence of the vibration right now. If you want thin, reach for a feeling of thin right now. If you want prosperity, reach for a feeling of richness right now. If you want health, reach for a feeling of wellness right now. If you want love, reach for a feeling of joy right now. You attract everything to you, and your ability to focus on what you really want determines your success…always. Enjoy this most amazing day! The Law of Attraction is a consistent, fair, and always predictable law of the Universe: you attract to you the things that you give your attention to, regardless of if you want them. You have an ability to spin your perception in ways that make the best of any situation, and in doing so, you literally change the way that the Universe manifests for you. The most important part of harnessing the power of the Law of Attraction is to notice how you feel. If you feel good, you are attracting everything you are asking for vibrationally. If you feel bad, you are attracting things that you won’t like very much when they appear in your reality. But there is no need to stop thinking thoughts, or to panic and attempt to censor your mind. In fact, trying to stop a thought in its tracks is next to impossible. Instead, you are better off relaxing and redirecting your thoughts to something that feels a little better. The point is to notice how you feel, acknowledge where you are, and always move toward things that feel better. Simply turning from things that make you feel worse…just thinking about something else…is all you need to do to “stop” the thoughts that feel worse.
Not long ago I wrote about a game I play as I go through my day. It helps you keep track of how you are focusing your attention on any subject. I call it the “That Feels Good” game. In this game, you just pay attention to how your day unfolds in terms of how it feels to you. In this game there are only two phrases: “That feels bad” or “That feels good.” When you say “that feels bad” to yourself, it’s time to redirect. When you say “that feels good” to yourself, you just drink in and savor and appreciate the moment for the good feeling it brings. You might even follow a good-feeling experience deeper to see if it gets better and better.
Here are some examples to clarify this.
1. Someone who is talking to you shifts their focus to all the problems they have been experiencing. It goes on and on. You calmly say to yourself “this feels bad” and think of a way to redirect. You may give them words of comfort, or help them see a silver lining in the situation…or you may just be silent and let them talk themselves out. See if you can elicit a “that feels good” from your vibration. If you can’t then it’s time to move on to another encounter with someone else, as opposed to helping them whip up the disconnection by participating fully in it.
2. You are in a grocery story in the checkout line, and someone cuts the line. You feel some negative emotion and say to yourself “that feels bad.” You have two choices. You can continue to feel bad and maybe even confront the person, or possibly stew about it to yourself, or start talking to another customer about the “injustice,” or you can find something else to focus upon that feels better. In this case you might notice an adorable child in the cart behind you, smile at it, and start up a very pleasant conversation with the parent of the child. If so, you might feel you connection return. You would say “that feels good.” Then continue to enjoy the interaction. The line cutter is no longer part of your vibrational attraction.
3. You are out shopping and the day is going well: the lights all turn green as you roll up, you get the parking spaces you want, and the traffic is flowing well. Every time you notice one of these events going your way, just say out loud or to yourself “that feels good.” Smile and rejoice that you have perfect timing. Bask in it. Noticing that acknowledging that you feel good actually makes you feel even better.
4. You are having a good time at work, and all your activities feel rewarding. Suddenly an email comes in from someone who recently had a disagreement with you. You look quickly to determine that there is no new information in the letter, and you notice strongly “that feels bad.” In a microsecond you tap the DELETE key, and in a few seconds you begin to feel your connection return. Before long, you will be able to say, once again, “that feels good.”
This is a game, so there is no need to be serious about it. Just notice how you feel and what you say to yourself in your “inner speak.” If you don’t have strong feelings either way, just say nothing. By following your bliss throughout the day, you will enjoy the process more, you will love the day more, and you will be using the Law of Attraction to put everything you want at your finger tips. Life happens. Fecal Matter Happens. If you are alive on planet Earth, you will have times when contrast gets in your face. You may lose or not get a job, or your lover may leave you, or someone you really care about may die. Life moves in cycles, and you can expect to experience some tough times on occasion. The only question is, what do you do about it? Instead of going crazy trying to figure out what went wrong, you can use the principles of the Law of Attraction to get a new perspective and to feel better. Once the fecal matter is bouncing off the fan, consider the following thoughts:
- Everything is temporary. No matter how uncomfortable your experience is, it will only be your experience for a limited amount of time. Ride out how you feel, and let your feelings be your feelings. Own your experience as simply your experience. It is what it is. Soon everything will change to something else, and you can meet the new experience when it becomes your “now” experience. Until then, don’t worry. This, too, will pass.
- Contrast creates desire. If you are really in a crappy situation, it means that you are asking for something better in a very, very powerful way. When you ask, Source Energy answers and expands and literally becomes the new condition you have asked for. This new condition is now available for you to align with, where before you had your crappy experience, it didn’t exist at all. So by not having what you want, you create something even better.
- Don’t look back. Your experience of contrast creates a new vibrational reality, and you can’t be a match to the new condition by staying stuck in the old hurts. You must feel your negative emotions, but then let yourself feel better, and when you can, move on to the next experience. Remember that you can attract an even better experience by becoming a vibrational match to the new experience. This means being open to getting a better job, meeting an amazing lover, or coming to closure with the loss of a loved one.
- Don’t play the blame game. If something didn’t go your way, you are human…period. Everything won’t go your way, so get over it. It isn’t someone’s fault. The Law of Attraction brings to you only experiences that match your average vibration, so nothing can happen to you unless you have invited into your experience. There is no Law of Assertion, so nothing can just appear in your experience that is not part of your average vibration created through your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Don’t blame. Just take responsibility for what happened, and pivot to the best thoughts you can find on the subject.
- Bless the contrast. If you didn’t have crap striking the air conditioner, you wouldn’t have a dynamic, expanding experience to rendezvous with in your future. Your motion forward and your joy depend on this expansion. Once you are done yelling and being angry for what has happened, be glad for the experience, and feel good about the joy that is on its way. Be grateful for who you are, where you have been, and where you are going. Give gratitude for this amazing Universe, and bless your varied experiences. Everything is a match. Relax and accept this fact, and gives thanks for the diverse experiences you get to have.
I have had enough contrasting experiences to realize that the new condition I created and eventually attracted was WAY better than the original disappointment I felt. A job I didn’t get was superseded by an incredible opportunity to do something much better, or a relationship that ended created the space for one that was 100 times more joyful. You just can’t know what is coming, but you can believe in the power of the Universe to bring you what you have created in your darkest moments. All is well, and if you are having a tough time today, breathe deeply, read this again, and know that your desires have been clarified and expanded. If you have wanted something for a while, you might begin to feel frustrated more and more the longer it takes to materialize in your experience. You may think that you need to work harder, or that you need to do something big to make your desires manifest. But you are not responsible for the work that the Universe does on your behalf, and you don’t need to manage the Law of Attraction to make it work for you either. Here’s an illustration to help clarify this.
Pretend that life is like a giant assembly line, and that you are a single worker on that assembly line. Your job is to add your energy and expertise at exactly the right time, and with all the care, quality, and craftsmanship you can. You are not responsible for placing the order, or keeping the line running, or adding other pieces, or even worrying about the final product. Your job is to add your unique piece as masterfully as you can.
When life causes you to want something, as you desire it a signal is sent to the Universe, and an order is placed with Source Energy on your behalf for a physical manifestation. While you are the “asker” for the new condition (money, health, a new job, more friends, or whatever) you don’t need to spend one second worrying if the Universe got the order. Once it is placed, it is placed. Now your focus can be to recognize when your “product” comes by on the assembly line, and to add your quality and craftsmanship to the product. In the case of more money, you would live your day looking for evidence of more money coming to you.
Let’s say you are buying something and the clerk informs you at the checkout that she will be taking an extra 20% the total; picture your prosperity coming before you on that vibrational assembly line. What are you going to do as it goes by? If you say something to yourself that feels like “the Universe is always looking out for me, and is bringing me more money all the time,” it is as if you polished the desire and put gold trim around it. Then off it goes, toward some finished product you will see shortly. But your job is done until you see the next piece of evidence of your prosperity. Look for it, and you will see it again. Add another detail of vibrational quality as it comes by again.
If you decide instead to say something to yourself that feels like “I shouldn’t be spending this money because I never have enough. Another 20% off what I don’t have is not good for my prosperity,” then it is like taking a baseball bat and knocking the product right off the assembly line belt as it goes by. Instead, always think about the value you can give the thought, and do your best to make the quality of the thought increase as it travels by on your vibrational conveyor belt. You are not the factory, the Universe is. You are not the conveyor belt, time and space is. You are not in charge of assembling the pieces before they get to you, Law of Attraction is. Do YOUR job today, which is to add craftsmanship and quality to the piece that is before you right now. Relax and let the rest of the work be done by Source Energy. If you do this you will be amazed at the end result: what you want will be in your experience more and more of the time. I think it is actually very freeing to know I don’t need to do it all, and that I have a specific and manageable job. I give thanks, gratitude, and appreciation for my specific job and purpose today. Do your job proudly and joyfully today, and let the pieces come together naturally and with love. Enjoy this most amazing day. Chris-GP

I was at dinner with a friend the other night, and the waiter took our drink order and disappeared. My friend immediately seemed preoccupied with where he went. She wondered if he would get the order right. We kept talking and before we knew it, he was back with exactly what we had ordered. After we gave our entree order, the same events unfolded, including my friend’s worry about if he would get it all right. This time she talked about her concern for his competence, and how she expected him to screw up the order. Of course, I took this as my unique opportunity to talk about perception, expectations, and Law of Attraction.
My friend was expecting something to go wrong, and she was looking for evidence of the mistakes before they even happened. I explained that the Universe hears your expectations, and through Law of Attraction brings you a version of what you expect. She thought that it didn’t mater what she expected, and that she would rather be surprised by things going better than she expected, and not disappointed by expecting too much. I understand this logic because I used to do the same thing. Now that I understand how we attract things, people, and events to us through our vibration, I don’t play the low expectations game anymore. Now I expect things to go well for me, and events in my life tend to match (or exceed) my expectations most of the time…and I expect a lot!
Worrying about your life is like worrying about your waiter. You ask for something, and then your job is to relax and let it come to you. Sometimes you might draw a really weird or unprofessional waiter, but the Law of Attraction will NEVER act like a crazy waiter. It will bring you what you ask for through your average vibration every time, 100% accurate and consistent. You never need to worry about Law of Attraction in terms of its ability to deliver the goods. On the other hand, a good waiter will occasionally give you what he thinks you want to show you what is possible. Law of Attraction won’t do that, ever. You ask, it delivers…period.
Relax and enjoy the fact that you get consistent results from your universal wellness order. If you are asking for wellbeing, expect it to be delivered very soon. If you want prosperity, see it, talk about it, and take actions that support it. Expect it to come to you very soon. Be irrationally optimistic. Anything you want is possible. I am human. I go in cycles like everyone else does. Sometimes I feel like I have things sorted out and put in order, and other times I can’t seem to get any traction on any subject. Being human on planet Earth is a thrilling, sometimes frustrating, but always expanding journey. When life seems to get stuck or when you get unintended results from your actions, it can seem like there has been a system error in the Universe. There are times when I think I need to “reboot” the world and try again to get myself in the groove. All of this is normal, and the act of letting go and attempting to “reboot” the system is a good one too. Of course, Source Energy and Law of Attraction never really need to be restarted because they are ever-continuous fixtures of the stream of wellbeing. It just seems like we get a system error now and again, but the error (if you want to call it that) is on user side, not on the Law of Attraction side. I think we just sometimes want the Law of Attraction to bring us what we think we want, rather than what we are actually thinking, feeling, and acting upon. We all want to get the results that match our perception of our thinking, but what we always get instead is a match to the average vibration we are offering.
So what happens when you are pretty sure that Law of Attraction has stopped working for you? What if you know you have been positive, and you know you are a match to what you are asking for…and yet it never seems to materialize for you? Well, we know that Law of Attraction is fair, consistent, and impartial. It never stops working. But the signal you send through your thoughts, feelings, and actions does change quite often. You might feel wealthy and secure one moment, only to feel poor and unworthy the next moment. When your vibration darts back and forth between two sides of a topic like this, the average vibration is not strong enough to change much in your experience. You think you are making progress, but you see little evidence in your manifested experience. The manifestation is always a match, so look at your results and then look back toward your vibration to see what you have been offering, on average, over time.
When Law of Attraction appears to not be working, you have two choices. If you have been feeling good over all, you might stay the course and give your new condition (money, health, or whatever) a little longer to appear in your experience. Be even more optimistic and expect the results to come soon. Your other choice is to ignore the quest for the manifestation and just make the best of where you are. Let go of the pressure to make it happen, and see if by letting go you shake something loose. If you want a promotion, maybe not thinking about the promotion is the best idea, and then just enjoy the job you have right now. Be grateful for the gifts you have already. This may be enough to lower your resistance enough to allow it to come to you. Rest easy in the fact that the Laws of the Universe are always up and running on the latest and best versions possible. We have had many posts on GratitudePlanet about the power of Gratitude and Appreciation, and if you have been a member of the GP Community for even a little while, you have probably experienced the magic of these vibrations working to expand and improve your life. When your “go to” vibration is an attitude of gratitude, you have found a magical way to harness the power of Law of Attraction to your greatest benefit. But why is feeling grateful and appreciative such a powerful state to live in? It is really all about how our thoughts, feelings, and actions work to attract things to us.
Some people work really hard at everything they do. They let their actions do their talking, and these people expel a great deal of energy making their world come together. Sometimes they achieve quite a bit, but often at the expense of their health and wellbeing. They might be really rich, but they might not have the vibration to enjoy those riches, or the health to express the prosperity. I know other people who do a great job trying as hard as they can to just think positive thoughts. These people can also get some great results from their positive focus, but they also tend to see their thoughts as more powerful than their own actions…they worry that if they “let down” from their positive thinking, they will fall and suffer something unpleasant. They become a prisoner to their own thinking. The most successful and happy people seem to be those who understand that while your thoughts and actions matter a great deal, your greatest power resides in honing your feelings, and finding ways to feel better throughout your day. Feeling good is the third piece of the puzzle of creating and attracting the life you have always wanted. How you feel determines you average vibration, and hence, your point of attraction that Law of Attraction is responding to. Balancing thoughts, feelings, and actions can be considered the “Art of Living Joyfully.”
Gratitude and appreciation are easy feelings to expand, but it takes just a little effort at first until you get some vibrational momentum. I like to think of these feelings as a “set point” of vibration or a kind of “default setting” that I automatically engage whenever I can. Optimism is a wonderful tool for gratitude and appreciation, and looking for the best in any situation will give you raw material for feelings of gratitude. Try this today: Before you take action in any direction, give thanks for everything you can think of, and then milk it for all it’s worth. Let your thoughts guide you toward everything that is working well for you. If your mind wanders to problems, turn to solutions, or just redirect to another appreciative thought. In a short time, you will have a desire or inspiration to do something: so take action now! In the doing of the action, return to your set point of gratitude and see the best in the action. Enjoy the little things you are doing, and look for the mystery and magic in what may seem otherwise like a mundane or simple task. See if your attitude of gratitude can inspire yet another action. If not, stop and bask again in the joy of your appreciation for what already is. Let this cycle of think, appreciate, give thanks, and act be a dance of joy that moves you to greater and greater connection in the Vortex. Watch how your life improves way more than when you just acted, or just sat and thought positive thoughts. Let Gratitude be your Attitude more often today. I just want to share a few thoughts about all the gifts we have in our lives right now. Today you will have conversations to share, encounters with others, problems to solve, and things to observe. As you move through your day, look to see if you can find the “silver lining” in each moment. The silver lining is the gift that is hidden (or not so hidden) in each event that happens to you, happens near you, or happens because of you. Some people might believe that there is no greater meaning in any of these events, yet science is showing more and more that there is an inter-connectivity in the Universe that we are only just beginning to study and understand. I truly believe that you can feel this connected nature of reality in your life right now…in this moment. You just have to be curious, attentive, and care about how you feel. Remember that the Law of Attraction responds to the average practiced vibration that you have going on, and that feeling better is your most important task. Looking for gifts helps you stay on track by helping you notice how you feel, and then by prompting you to make the best of any given experience.
So what do I mean when I say to look for the gifts inherent in everything that happens to you, happens near you, or happens because of you? What I literally mean is that you can take a moment to reflect upon your present moment, and in the process find a positive reason that you drew the experience to you through Law of Attraction. For example, if someone on the street stops and gives you a compliment for some random thing, make a statement about the gift you received. Maybe you could say or think “people find me open and approachable. I just received the gift of this person’s positive frame of reference. Thank you!” Or maybe you observe children playing, and you see them laughing and cooperating through a game on the playground. This too is a gift, but what is the gift? You intuition will splash inspiration to you if you pause and open to it. You may be inspired to say or think “children live in tremendous connection and they live in their wellbeing most of the time. My gift here is to remember that I was a child, that I am a child of Source Energy, and that I have the same access to love, bliss, and connection as those children do. I open and receive these gifts right now.” Feel your vibration raise a little bit, and bask in the reality of feeling better on account of this tremendous gift you have received. Perhaps you are taking the trash out one morning, and you see some litter that has blown near your home, or into your neighbor’s property. You decide to pick up the trash on your way to the curb and you are faced with a choice. Do you think about the gift, or do you go in another direction? You know what I want you to do! You have an opportunity to receive in ever moment. So what does picking up trash have to do with receiving a gift? Then you get the message. You say or think “I am a person who lives in a clean and tidy environment. I want more than ever to have pristine vistas that I get to enjoy. I love that I get to help this be so, and I expect the Universe to expand this vibration more and more for me. I see the world as clean and healthy. Thank you for this gift that helped me clarify this desire even more powerfully.”
Life is a gift that keeps on giving. Are you ready to receive these gifts? They will keep coming regardless of your ability to perceive them, so why not get into the receiving mode? Why not become more open to the magic in the Universe? Why not hone your ability to direct your thoughts and focus so that you can harness the Law of Attraction to your greatest advantage? Why wait to be happy, connected, and expanded? Let every day of your life be like a cosmic birthday party thrown in your honor. You deserve it. Be.Love, Hannya-GP

I consider myself to be an optimist. Being an optimist means seeing the best in every situation, sometimes in spite of the evidence against such optimism. And being an optimist gives you the best chance of attracting everything you want into your life. Are you an optimist? Is your glass half full, or half empty? You probably know which you are, and because you are reading this page, you are either a “glass half full” type, or are hoping to find out how to be one. I don’t settle for half full, and instead I strive to be a 3/4-full glass person when I can be. You can do it too.
Practicing being grateful for a glass half full is a necessary first step to allowing everything you want to flow to you through Law of Attraction. However, what happens when your glass is clearly less than half full? Is that the time to stop trying, be negative, and complain that your glass is almost empty? The answer, of course, is no. When your glass is less than half full, it’s time to start talking (or thinking) about how much you like the glass. Turn to the best aspects you can see in your immediate environment. Appreciate the container that holds the rest of the liquid, and for that matter, appreciate the liquid regardless of how much you see in the glass. When your glass is almost empty, make the best of it. Law of Attraction can’t tell the difference between your thoughts (and vibrations) and any hard and fast “reality.” Law of Attraction brings you what you focus upon, even if it is not “real.” A glass less than half full has many qualities worth giving your full and grateful attention, if you’ll just be easy and play the appreciation game.
Play up what feels good, ignore the things that feel bad, and tell your story the way you want it to be. That way, the glass is not even a significant part of your vibration. You will soon stop depending on the glass, and instead you focus on your own wellness, prosperity, and allowing. Law of Attraction will then bring you many over-flowing glasses. Enjoy the process today and decide to make the best of every thought and situation. Have fun while you learn to practice the Art of Optimism! Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

How often do you say “There just isn’t enough time in the day to do this?” If you are like me, you are always measuring progress against available time on whatever project has your attention. Sometimes it seems that the only solution is to work harder and faster, trying to make things happen before the last grain of sand falls through the hour glass. But haven’t you noticed that the harder and faster you work, the less efficient you can be, and the more mistakes you can make? Isn’t it odd that the more you try to make things happen, the more things tend to fall apart, get delayed, or get off track? And yet, with only so many hours in the day, how can you possibly let up and stop running to the finish line? There IS a better way.
Although the length of the day is set by a finite number of hours, minutes, and seconds, the perception of the passing of time is quite relative. You have certainly been in an enjoyable activity where time passed by very quickly, as well as situations that felt as if time had stopped or at least slowed down significantly. But how can we use perception of time to our advantage so that we can slow time down when we need it, and speed it up when we are bored? Here are some useful tips that I can share on this issue.
- Start saying to yourself and others “I always have enough time to do the things I need to do.” Say and think these words as often as you can, over and over again. Let the mantra be a connected feeling of fact. Notice that the more you say and believe this, the more time seems to stretch out and allow for the “reality” of more time.
- Get calm and centered before taking action on anything. This can take a few moments, or you can meditate for longer if you wish. Either way, approach your tasks from a calm and centered state of mind, rather than a frantic “final hour” feeling. You will be way more productive while feeling that you aren’t rushing.
- Let Law of Attraction align you with help. While the Law of Attraction can’t appear and lick stamps or fold clothes for you, it is more than able to align people, events, and circumstances to help you in all ways. As you think more optimistically, and as you expect things to go well for you more of the time, things will get better for you more of the time. You will have street lights timed perfectly as you sail through traffic, and you will have helpful people asking if they may assist you. You will get parking on the first try, and you will have the resources you need to be efficient. It will take less time to do more, with less effort.
- Focus on one task at a time. Instead of wasting time refocusing your attention between tasks, let one task be your in-the-moment focus. Enjoy the aspects of the task, and let the task unfold perfectly before you. When you are done with the task, get quiet and decide what the next task is before heading into it without your connection to Source. Get in the Vortex, and then take your next action step in inspiration.
- Say “I can do anything, but I can’t do everything.” When you let go of having to do everything, you can do better work on the things you have left on your plate. Learn to say “no” when taking on new responsibilities. Be appropriately committed without being grossly over-committed.
It has been said of the Great Tao that it “Does nothing, but leaves nothing undone.“ You can make it you intention to do the same in any day. Don’t worry about what you have to do through your action, and then take inspired action in the moment when it arises. I have had great success using this technique. I just affirm that everything will get done right on time, and then I watch my day unfold magically. Some tasks are completed without me even doing anything, and other jobs become completed with almost no effort, and in very little time. It IS possible to change your relationship to time, and to have all the time you need. Change your focus and thinking, and you will change your perception of time. Enjoy this most amazing day! I have enjoyed the recent posts about prosperity here on Gratitude Planet, and I want to share a list of things that I consider to be my personal riches. To be rich and prosperous, first you have to feel rich and prosperous. But if you don’t feel rich and prosperous, you can’t attract more of it through Law of Attraction. Law of Attraction can only bring you more of whatever you are vibrating right now. But how can you feel like a million dollars before you have a million dollars? You start small and work your way out from there. I am able to feel like a million by thinking of the millions of reasons I have to be happy, connected, grateful, and appreciative in this moment. Here is my short list. Make your own today, on paper or in your mind. Let yourself attract expanded abundance into your life by loving the riches you already have! Be.Love, Hannya-GP

- I have friends who appreciate me.
- I have music on my iPod that I love listening to.
- I have a mind that I can use to focus and attract absolutely anything I can desire.

I like chatting with my close friends and laughing about some of the ridiculous situations I find myself in on occasion. I think most everyone has some funny stories to tell about being in a real-life sitcom called “reality.” Life certainly has the ability to thrill us, get our attention, and make us mad, sometimes all at the same time! But when I choose to relive an event by telling someone about it, I am choosy about how I tell it, and I really pay attention to how I feel when I tell it. I know that the Law of Attraction can’t tell the difference between the event I experienced, and the experience of retelling the account of the experience. In other words, when I tell someone about what happened, vibrationally it’s like it is happening again. In the act of retelling the experience, I charge up Law of Attraction to bring me more of the same. So, for example, if someone brings me flowers and sings a song to me, and I tell ten people about it throughout the day on different occasions, Law of Attraction thinks that I had eleven wonderful experiences of people bringing me flowers and singing to me. Chances are that I will attract other experiences that feel the same as that one, even if it looks different on the surface (remember that it’s all about vibration and how things feel). By telling my story ten times I got myself in the Vortex, and I whipped up the yummy vibration of the experience so that it could summon more experiences like it. And that’s how it works in a nutshell: the stories you tell determine what you will be living in the future.
Of course, this works no matter how your story feels. Law of Attraction gives you more of what you focus on, even if it feels bad. So let’s say that you have a fender-bender on your way to work. You are angry that it happened, and to make matters worse, you were late for an important meeting. It is important to communicate to your coworkers what happened, and to explain why you were late. You may also choose to cry on the shoulder of a friend at some point in the day, which is necessary sometimes. But now you have to decide if you are going to tell this story ten more times. If you are willing to relive it ten more times with anyone who will pause to listen to you, then you are creating eleven fender-benders for Law of Attraction to grab onto. You are asking for more of the same, even though you don’t think you are. If you choose this path, get ready for the essence of “fender-bender” to reappear in your experience soon. I have heard people say that “bad things come in threes,” and I wonder if retelling the story has something to do with it?
Nothing comes in threes. Everything comes in relation to the vibrational signal you offer. Your stories about reality replay that reality until you create a new reality. Notice the stories you tell today and decide if you like the story enough to live it again in reality. If you liked the flowers, tell that story if someone will listen, and tell it to yourself if no one will listen. Law of Attraction, by the way, can read your vibration through your thinking, so you don’t even need to talk. It’s simple: talk about your life the way you want it to be, and it will unfold in line with your words and feelings. Be human, and be angry when you feel angry. Just don’t tell your angry story ten more times. Decide to tell “optimistic” stories instead. Get it? I know you do. Focus on your gratitude and appreciation for the things you already have if you need a new story to tell. It works for me! Be Well, Marie-GP

When you first start understanding how the Law of Attraction works, you might start worrying about the thoughts you think. You might, for the first time, notice that you give a lot of attention to things that don’t feel very good, or you might come to the realization that you spend a lot of time watching sad movies, murder shows, or reading books about people who are struggling. Because thoughts create reality, your attention to anything invites the vibrational essence of what you are giving your attention to into your experience. So sometimes people start trying to censor their thoughts so that they don’t invite in real experiences that feel like sadness, murder, or struggle. The idea is a good one (to notice and shift your attention to other things) but you can’t stop a thought by trying not to think it. When you try to not think it, you include it into your vibration by your attempt to exclude it. There is no exclusion when it comes to your attention; rather you can just as easily choose to give your attention to other things. Another way to explain this is to imagine yourself watching a movie on your TV that depicts something that you would rather not experience in your real life. You could keep watching and try to say “this won’t happen to me, this won’t happen to me” or you can simply change the channel, shifting your focus, and give your full attention to something you want to allow into your experience. Trying to exclude anything invites it in. This is also true with people and political issues. If you try to stop someone from doing something, you include them into your experience and you actually give vibrational energy to the thing you are trying to stop. Trying to defeat your rival political party gives energy to their cause, but working to improve the stance of your own party strengthens your cause and your party by giving that energy to the vision of what you want to improve. The wars on drugs, terror, poverty, etc. help perpetuate these realities by focusing energy and attention of the problem instead of the solutions. You life is the same way.
You might ask, “but don’t we need to help make the world a better place by focusing on the problems of poverty, war, terror, and the like?” The answer is that you always get to choose what you give your attention to, and whatever you give your attention to becomes and equals your Point of Attraction. The Law of Attraction responds to the vibration of your Point of Attraction and lines you up with more experiences in your reality that match it. In other words, you can’t change the world, but you can change your world. The only reason that anything exists, including the world’s problems, is because one or many people have included those vibrations into their personal experiences through their thoughts, feelings, and actions. You can tune into those vibrations, or you can choose other vibrations…it’s all up to you. If your world shifts to include love, allowing, freedom, joy, fun, support, giving, prosperity, wellness, charity, gratitude, appreciation, and optimism, then you have truly made a difference in your world. You can’t think, feel, or act for anyone else, so you have a responsibility to pay attention to your world as it is created by you. If you decide to become a part of some problem, just know that you are expending the problem to include you and your world. But if you are connected to Source Energy, and if you are in The Vortex, you will be solution-oriented and you will be able to help your causes from a place of allowing instead of resisting. Just don’t try to stop anything, but instead focus on things that feel better. Unplug from experiences and observations that you don’t want to increase in your world. Take action from your place of connection and while feeling the power of Source, and your action will expand your love joy, and may even inspire other people as well. Changing your world to a better place DOES change the world. It improves the part that you are in charge of, and it makes the whole better too…one piece at a time. Enjoy this most amazing day!
