All you do is think and feel and act, and think and feel and act, and then observe the results you get in your life. <em>The Law of Attraction</em> tunes into your vibration, which is the sum total vibrational average of your thoughts, feelings, and actions over time. What your life is right now is a perfect reflection of your vibrational offering in the recent past. People wonder why they can experience something unpleasant even when they feel good in the moment, and this is because it is your average vibrational offering that creates your <strong><em>point of attraction</em></strong>, and this <em>point of attraction</em> is what <em>Law of Attraction</em> matches and magnifies in your experience.</p>

• cranky; irritable : Bobby&#8217;s always a bit snarky before his nap.</p>
<p>So if you feel snarky most of the time, and you talk about things in terms of your disappointment with the present, it makes sense that <em>Law of Attraction</em> will line you up with more critical, cutting, snide, cranky, and irritable experiences for you to &#8220;enjoy,&#8221; even when you feel happy for a few moments at a time. The key to all of this is to turn the emotional corner and find a way to feel better more of the time.</p>
<p>Feeling better is the key, but changing your behavior is the goal. If your life is not thrilling you enough, you have to change the input that creates your <em>point of attraction</em>, and then <em>Law of Attraction</em> will also work for you in more pleasing ways. Here are a few tips for turning the emotional corner, and all of these ideas can make you think, act, and feel differently.</p>
<ol>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Exercise more</strong></span><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">.</span> </strong>Take a walk, run in the woods, or get on a stationary bike. While you exercise, tell yourself: &#8220;I am opening to my greater health, and my body is very wise. I give myself love and health, and I receive love and health from the Universe.&#8221; Feel every cell in your body respond to your affirmations. You are turning the emotional corner.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Eat Better.</strong></span> No matter what you have been eating, change your diet a little. The phrase &#8220;you are what you eat&#8221; is a good rule of thumb, so if you want to feel differently, try eating differently. Do a juice fast, or a true fast. But a cook book and make some new meals that you haven&#8217;t made before. notice that the food makes you feel differently. You are turning the emotional corner.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Talk Less.</strong></span> That&#8217;s right. Talk less. If your point of attraction has you lining up with things you don&#8217;t like, you are probably in a habit of talking about things in a disconnected way. Talk less, and listen more. Even observe the way you talk to yourself in your own mind. Be kind to yourself, and love yourself more. Let whatever cognitive dissonance your have going melt into awareness of your perfect relationship to love and allowing. You are turning the emotional corner.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Practice Optimism.</strong></span> While you are talking less and observing your thoughts more, turn your thoughts into better-feeling, more positive statements. Make it a game, and enjoy the process. Fr example, if you are doing something and you are beating yourself up, do it a little less. If you say &#8220;I really suck at this,&#8221; notice, laugh to yourself, and think again. Say &#8220;do over&#8221; and tell yourself &#8220;now I may suck at this, but I am getting better and better with every try. Soon I will suck less at this.&#8221; minor change&#8230;big vibrational shift. You are turning the emotional corner.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Stop &#8220;should-ing&#8221; on yourself.</strong></span> Do you do things just because you &#8220;should?&#8221; Doing this can evolve into acting by default, and living out patterns of actions and thoughts that mess up your pint of attraction. Do everything because you choose to, and not because you feel you should do it. I would wager that at least 20% of the actions people choose are by default because they feel they are supposed to do it that way. Get your &#8220;should&#8221; together. You are turning the emotional corner.</li>
</ol>
<p>See if doing all of this makes a difference to the way you feel. If it does, you are turning the emotional corner. When you think, feel and act differently then your life must change. I look forward to hearing about your successes. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP</p>

The songs were songs I know or have known from my past. I had to ask the question, "what vibration am I reinforcing with these songs?" I know Law of Attraction always hears what you say and vibrate.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/voices-1.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1374" title="voices 1" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/voices-1-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a>I was walking the other day and started noticing the voices in my head. Before you think I am crazy (which my friends would say I might be) remember that we all talk to ourselves in our mind. There seems to be a constant chatter going on commenting on everything that is happening all the time. Sometimes when I meditate I can get it to calm down but it is mostly always there. You probably have noticed the same thing.</p>
<p>So on my walk I started observing what the chatter in my mind was. I think because of the rhythm I was walking to, I was mostly singing songs to myself. The songs were songs I know or have known from my past. I had to ask the question, &#8220;what vibration am I reinforcing with these songs?&#8221; I know <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> always hears what you say and vibrate. The words to the song I had in my head when I started noticing all of this went like this: <em>shot to the heart and you&#8217;re to blame&#8230;you give love a bad name!</em>&#8221; I like this song, and I love Bon Jovi. But I had to decide if it was a good use of my walk and inner talk time to be repeating these words to myself. So for fun, I sang the song but changed the words a bit: <em>love with your heart it keeps you sane&#8230;I give love a good name!</em>&#8221; Just singing the new words to myself made me laugh and smile, and I swear I could feel my vibration raise. I felt better. So notice today what you say to yourself and see if it raises your vibration. If it doesn&#8217;t then change the words, the song, of the theme of your inner voices. It works for me and perhaps you will feel a positive difference in your vibration too. I hope so.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t tend to sing songs, just notice what you say to yourself in your mind. Are you kind to yourself, or do you put yourself down? Are you optimistic, or do you expect things to go wrong for you? You are in charge of the words you think. You have the control to make a positive change at any time you choose to. <em>Law of Attraction</em> will always respond and magnify your average vibration, and the words you think and the way you feel is what creates this vibration. In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be "done" and can then "arrive" in some new place or mindset. We might say "I'll be happy when I can pay these bills'" or a similar statement. When you do this, you use Law of Attraction to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only responds to your vibration and not your words. So saying "I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens" keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place. We are eternal beings, and there is no "there" to get to. The best way to have everything you want right now is to enjoy everything you have right now.  There is a perfection in our imperfection...our journey can't be completed...because it never ends. So don't wish for the better day to come. ]]></description>

I get the feeling that if I just try a little harder, or focus a little more I will finally be done doing the thing I am doing. This can certainly be true when the thing is paying the bills, or painting a house, or doing the dishes. But what about when you assign that frame of mind to larger aspects of your life, like attaining enlightenment, perfecting your tennis game, or becoming wealthy and prosperous? In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be &#8220;done&#8221; and can then &#8220;arrive&#8221; in some new place or mindset.</p>
<p>Have you ever heard yourself say: &#8220;I&#8217;ll be happy when I can pay these bills&#8217;&#8221; or a similar statement. When you do this, you use <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only <em>responds to your vibration and not your words</em>. You will no longer long for your work to be over so you can relax into your wellbeing, because you will already be relaxing into the best part&#8230;and the ONLY part we have access to&#8230;the present. When you are <em>optimistic</em>, you are open to seeing things the way you want to see them. Remember that Law of Attraction responds to your average vibration over time, so it is key to hold a vibration that matches what you want to attract into your life. This means that you shouldn&#8217;t contradict your own desires if possible. But as humans, we tend to let our vibration swing between different emotions all the time. Sometimes you are hopeful, and then you might feel contented, and then bored, and then optimistic&#8230;your vibrational offering is really a moving target. If you can bring your thoughts, feelings, and action into a more focused offering, then you can attract more consistent results and enjoy every moment of your life more and more. Reginald B. Mansell said it well when he noted that &#8220;<em>A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities; an  optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties</em>.&#8221;</p>
<p>I woke up this morning thinking about the song &#8220;The Greatest&#8221; by Kenny Rogers. If you haven&#8217;t heard this song, you can hear it <a title="The Greatest (YouTube)" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQlMAoZF2Sk" target="_blank">HERE</a>. This song goes to the heart of how <em>optimism</em> and <em>Law of Attraction</em> work together. The boy in the song absolutely feels that he is the greatest ball player ever to walk the planet, and his vibrational offering is pure. And when the world gives him evidence to the contrary, he holds fast to his belief and makes the best of it. When you do this in your life, you summon the energy that creates Universes, and you open to manifesting the reality of your belief and desire. You don&#8217;t quit on your desire when most others would quit. You stay with the vibration long enough to see it become your reality. Read the words to yourself and feel the power and joy of the <em>optimism</em> in this song:</p>

<p>I know that some people think optimists are fools who sift through bad things and delude themselves. In fact, Don Marquis said that &#8220;<em>An optimist is a man who has never had much experience</em>.&#8221; But remember that <em>Law of Attraction</em> just reinforces what you ask for, so everyone is &#8220;right&#8221; in the debate. If you think the world sucks, the world will suck <em>for you</em> most of the time. If you think the world is beautiful, you will attract beauty <em>to you</em> much of the time. This may be why Sir Winston Churchill was quoted as saying &#8220;<em>For myself I am an optimist &#8211; it does not seem to be much use being  anything else.</em>&#8221;</p>
<p>Today, look for the best in things as much as possible. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Be optimistic about the wellness and prosperity you are attracting. Talk about it like it&#8217;s here right now, and enjoy the feeling of having it today. You will increase your joy, and you will uplift others as well. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/handsworld.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1295" title="handsworld" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/handsworld-232x300.jpg" alt="" width="232" height="300" /></a>Are there are times in your life when you feel you are exactly where you are supposed to be? Sure there are!  These are great times because you feel no need to hurry away or fix something that is already done. The <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> is at rest and everything is in place. I like to call this feeling &#8220;Divine Order&#8221; because it seems like everything in creation has come together to put me in the right place at the right time. <em>Divine Order</em> is the basis of <em>All That Is</em>, and it is one of the rules of existence in this reality. Everything unfolds in its perfect order, and there are no mistakes.</p>
<p>But I must admit that there are times that I don&#8217;t feel like everything is working out correctly. Sometimes I feel like things don&#8217;t go my way regardless of how hard I try to make it so. Why does it seem like <em>Divine Order</em> fails me in those times? Well, we know that the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> is always matching you up with more of your average vibration&#8230;and we know that what you vibrate and what you get is always a perfect match. So the reason that <em>Divine Order</em> sometimes seems to be out of order stems from our own inability to monitor what we are vibrating outward through our thoughts, feelings, and actions. As you become more and more aware of how you feel, you will observe the connection of how you feel to the results you get in your experience. The order of events and the experiences you attract will always be a match to your vibration.</p>
<p>I refer to <em>Divine Order</em> frequently to help me remember to relax, and also to help me stay optimistic and to expect the best. If I am behind a slow driver, I think about how I am being held back a bit to arrive at my destination at exactly the right time. When I get up, I think about how no matter how fast or slow I shower and dress, I will be in alignment with <em>Divine Order</em> and in the right place at the right time. When I approach my work parking lot, I tell myself that I always get a parking spot, and that my timing is perfectly coordinated with <em>Divine Order</em> to make a space appear as I arrive. It almost always does appear. And when it doesn&#8217;t, I move on to the next lot knowing that once again, things are in their perfect order. I expect something else to go my way because of the experience.</p>
<p>Do you believe in <em>Divine Order</em>? Do you believe that you are guided to be in the right place at the right time? I think it is more fun to believe in this concept than it is to worry about controlling things that you can&#8217;t control. If you accept the workings of <em>Divine Order</em>, you can relax more, and you can take in the joys of life more fully. Let yourself feel the perfection of your life today. Every moment is your perfect arrival into the present. Live and love today knowing that you are supported by <em>Divine Order</em>. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP</p>

We want you to feel good, of course, but no one feels good all the time. If you think you need to always feel good, you will beat yourself up when you realize that you are a little cranky, angry, or snarky. Feeling good is a great goal, and feeling good is part of the equation that helps you harness the positive power of <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>. But when you know you don&#8217;t feel good, just do your best to <em>feel a little better</em>. It&#8217;s all about the <a title="GP Vibrational Scale" href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/2010/02/23/the-emotional-scale-a-different-%E2%80%9Ctwist-%E2%80%9D/" target="_blank">Vibrational/Emotional</a> scale.</p>
<p>You only have access to thoughts that are near your present <em>emotional set point</em>. This set point is determined by the thoughts you have been thinking recently. If you feel, say, irritated, then you have access to an emotion that feels a little better (pessimism) as well as an emotion that feels a little worse (frustration). None of these emotions feel <em>good</em>, but one does feel <em>better</em>. By reaching for the one that feels better, you can achieve vibrational harmony with it. You will feel a little relief in your emotional set point, and your new vibration puts you in proximity to an even better-feeling thought: Boredom!</p>
<p>But what if you want to go right from irritation to bliss? The answer is that you simply can&#8217;t do it. Look again at the Emotional/Vibrational Scale,  grouped in order from the worst feeling (bottom) to the best feeling  emotions (at the top):</p>
<p>Joy/Knowledge/Empowerment/Freedom/Love/Appreciation/Bliss<br />
Passion<br />
Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness<br />
Positive Expectation/Belief<br />
Optimism<br />

<p>What ever you feel, you can only move up or down one or two emotions at a time. To go from irritation to bliss, then, is just not going to happen. You can pretend to be happy, but you will not really feel it. Instead, reach for the <em>best feeling thought you have access to</em>. The idea is to climb out of your disconnected thoughts one by one until you get to ones that feel good. Once you feel good, you will automatically attract more of what you desire. <em>Law of Attraction</em> will match your connected thoughts with more and more connected thoughts. Your life will &#8220;snowball&#8221; in a positive direction and you will start to see wonderful manifestations start to appear everywhere you look. I totally understand the mindset that pre-paves both of these experiences, yet it can be difficult to break out of old habits of thought to create and sustain a new vibration around exercise and fitness. Mark Twain (1835-1910) said that &#8220;A habit cannot be tossed out the window; it must be coaxed down the  stairs a step at a time.&#8221;  Sometimes all we need is a little &#8220;get up and go&#8221; (combined with fun) to change our habits a little at a time. Here is what I suggest: Take a <em>Gratitude and Connection Walk</em>. When I walk, I make it more fun by using my imagination, thoughts, and deliberate focus to feel better. Feeling better equals fun to me, and you probably feel much the same way.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how it works. Look at something&#8230;<strong>anything</strong>&#8230;that catches your attention. It can be a house in the neighborhood you are walking through, or a car, or a bird, or a trash can&#8230;anything you observe in your immediate environment.Simply say to yourself &#8220;I see a house&#8230;and I like its (<em>fill in the blank</em>).&#8221; So for example, someone might say, &#8220;I see a car, and I appreciate its deep blue paint job.&#8221; If you see something and you can&#8217;t think of anything to be grateful or appreciative about concerning it, find the <em><strong>best thought you have access to</strong></em> about it. This might sound something like &#8220;I see a dented car, and I appreciate that it&#8217;s not mine!&#8221; It&#8217;s OK if you just chuckle at yourself; but you did well finding something that felt true, and something that was the best thought you could think in the moment. The next thing you see, if you stick to reaching for gratitude and appreciation, will probably provide better things to like. Look for them, find them, and say them. Before long, the vibration within you will start to raise and expand to a very connected and blissful place.</p>
<p>One word of caution, however. This game can be played in the opposite direction, where you put down, make fun of, or become critical of the things you see. This will expand the vibrational range <em>downward</em> to thoughts that feel worse and worse the more you think them. The beauty is that you get to choose the direction that your thoughts flow, and when you feel better, everything looks, tastes, feels, and smells better. Your fifteen-minute walk that used to feel like two hours will feel more like fifteen minutes, and the fun you have raising your vibration will become the immediate payoff for your exercise. Instead of thinking &#8220;I really should take a walk today&#8221; you will begin to crave your <em>Gratitude </em><em>and Connection Time</em> instead. Go ahead and get out today, alone or with a few close friends, and enjoy being deliberate about your joy!  Be.Love, Hannya-GP</p>

<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/HenryFord.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1256" title="HenryFord" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/HenryFord-212x300.jpg" alt="" width="212" height="300" /></a>The great American car maker Henry Ford was father of the modern assembly line. He is credited with the above quote, and these words give us insight into the prosperity thinking of this great entrepreneur. Through his attitude, business savvy, and his creativity, he became one of the most wealthy and well-known men in the world. I am not sure if he consciously thought about the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, but his words in this quote suggest that he may have. When you believe something strongly, powerful forces join your belief, and the forces of the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> align to attract the reality of the belief to your daily life. It is the belief that comes first, and then the physical manifestation follows. Life, then, can be said to be a self-fulfilling prophecy created by your focus and attention.</p>
<p>So what do you want to focus on today? What have you been asking for? You don&#8217;t need to attract everything you have ever asked for, and trying to do so would probably feel overwhelming. Instead, sit quietly and decide on one or two things that you would like to increase in your experience today. Do you want more people to treat you well? Then see this in your mind, and decide that you will attract kind people even more today than yesterday. Do you want more time? Then decide that you have all the time you need to do all the things you need to do. See this in your mind, and imagine yourself having such perfect timing that you get back all kinds of time. Do you want expanded prosperity? Then decide that you will attract more resources to you today. Believe that the <em>Universe</em> is working on your behalf to align you with these things, and let the <em>Law of Attraction</em> do the magical part: attracting everything you need to you.</p>
<p>If you decide that people should be nice to you today, you will look for the evidence of it all day. An interaction that wouldn&#8217;t normally get you attention will make you pause and appreciate how well you were treated. You will begin to re-frame your reality to conform to your beliefs and expectations, and you will expand the &#8220;reality&#8221; of the condition. It works on two levels: your <strong><em>optimism</em></strong>, and the work of <strong><em>Source Energy</em></strong>. You optimism comes from deciding what you expect to see, and then holding fast to the excitement of knowing it is coming. The actual physical manifestation comes to you as <em>Source</em> lines up people, circumstances, and events to make your desires manifest into form. Henry Ford said, in essence, that no mater what you expect to see, you will see it. You are always right. Then why not decide to see what you want to see? Why not attract the things you want? Let yourself enjoy this process even more today, and be grateful for the magic of life, and the ease with which you can harness the <em>Law of Attraction</em>. What you do is start naming things you love and appreciate, and let it snowball out of control. Let it lift you even higher into Expectation, Belief, Happiness, Passion, Love, and all the way to Bliss! It is important to be feeling at least in the range of <em>optimistic</em> before you try this, because you need access to thoughts that feel good to begin. If you are feeling, say, frustrated you will only have access to thoughts close to frustration, such as irritation or overwhelment. You CAN feel better by moving upward from frustration, but this game is not a good one unless you are already in a connected vibration.</p>
<p>Here is what you do: Say &#8220;I love (<em>fill in the blank</em>). Then say I appreciate (<em>fill in the blank</em>). Then perhaps, I am grateful for (<em>fill in the blank</em>). If you run out of things to love, appreciate or be grateful for, go more into depth about one of the things you already mentioned in a previous statement. For example, if you said &#8220;I appreciate my car,&#8221; and then draw a blank, follow up with &#8220;I love that my car is so dependable.&#8221; The fun really starts when you get a flood of ideas to be grateful for and to appreciate. You start feeling even better, and better, and better. So here is a short rampage from me to you. You are a vibrational magnet that calls more of the same unto yourself. Because of this, it has been stated that you can be, do, or have anything you want. Anything is possible as long as you <em>become a match</em> to whatever it is that you want. Sounds good in theory, but what if I want to be an astronaut? What is the chance that a 40-something guy who teaches for a living will suddenly become a space traveler? Quite unlikely. So is the premise that you can be, do, or have anything flawed and untrue? No. It&#8217;s true, but some clarification needs to be made.</p>
<p>I may not be able to be an astronaut in the strictest sense, because I wouldn&#8217;t be able to start over and become a fighter pilot, or be in the right place to study and train at NASA, and I wouldn&#8217;t be chosen to go on a mission over the many other well-trained men and women ready to serve in that capacity right now. But the real thing working against this dream is the lack of vibration I have around it. Up to this point, I never wanted to be an astronaut, so I haven&#8217;t built up much energy to attract people and circumstances to me through <em>Law of Attraction</em>. What I have attracted is a match to what I have asked for so far, and stopping on a dime and changing my vibration to something totally different is possible, but unlikely. So the first clarification is that I CAN&#8217;T be, do, or have anything&#8230;but rather I have to want it first, and then I can be, do, or have anything I really want. If you want it, it is possible. If you can become a match to anything, it must become your reality.</p>
<p>OK, you say, but what if today you decided you really, really wanted to go to space? Then what? Is it possible? Yes, if I want it, it is possible. But how? First, I would start focusing only on thoughts that aligned with this goal. I would pay attention to how I feel when I think these thoughts. I would be sure to feel good about the goal, and not sabotage my vibration with doubt. Then I would look for any evidence that the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> was providing for progress toward my goal. Perhaps I would meet people in the space industry who want to talk to me about the goal, or I would find myself watching TV shows about the topic. Every bit of evidence would be followed up by more optimistic thinking around the goal. &#8220;This is possible for me, and I am going to space,&#8221; I might say frequently. <em>Law of Attraction</em> would then begin to snowball circumstances and events to bring me greater and greater evidence of the goal. I might get a chance to go to a space camp or meet someone who is starting a company to send civilians into space. If I really followed this with my focus and desire, and if I didn&#8217;t contradict my own desires with out-of-the-<strong><em>Vortex</em></strong> thinking, then it would be possible for me to orbit the Earth in a spacecraft. I can do it.</p>
<p>Many people don&#8217;t think this is possible because they say they want things that they aren&#8217;t willing to pursue vibrationally. I can&#8217;t be an astronaut unless I have a strong desire to be one. You can&#8217;t lose weight unless you want to lose it enough to attract a &#8220;thin vibration,&#8221; which means focusing on thin and being single-minded and optimistic about thin. You can be, do, or have anything you want. So what do YOU really want? Are you willing to attract it unto you? If so, let yourself feel the essence of the vibration right now. If you want thin, reach for a feeling of thin right now.  If you want prosperity, reach for a feeling of richness right now. If you want health, reach for a feeling of wellness right now. If you want love, reach for a feeling of joy right now. You attract everything to you, and your ability to focus on what you really want determines your success&#8230;always.
