			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/vortexcloud.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-863" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/vortexcloud-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></a>In my darkest moments of feeling not so good, I sometimes wonder if I have seen the best of my life pass me by. I think that all the most fun times might be behind me, and that I need to hold on to what I have and milk the last bit of bliss out of it. This &#8220;hold on and retreat&#8221;mentality is not something I am proud of, and I am sure you can relate to it on some level. Luckily, my darkest moments are few and far between, and I don&#8217;t stay there very long when I go there. Knowing about <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> and the <strong><em>emotional scale</em></strong>, I just reach for a feeling of relief and try to find the best feeling thought I have in my brain. But here&#8217;s the thing that floors me every time: when I move up the <em>vibrational/emotional scale</em> and feel better, I discover something new and exciting about my life! I find a new thing that I didn&#8217;t expect to find that thrills me like a kid on Christmas. It&#8217;s like the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> is able to hear my desires better than I can, and then bring me some of it for me to enjoy. These new things might not seem very significant to someone observing from outside my reality, but from the inside out&#8230;these are good-feeling, very significant things. These are experiences that I enjoy so much, that feel like they were created on the spot for me to enjoy. In these moments, I can&#8217;t relate AT ALL to my &#8220;dark&#8221; moments&#8230;which makes sense, because you can&#8217;t be very far away from where ever you are right now vibrationally. So in your darkest times, don&#8217;t forget that there is a world of love, bliss, and connection available to you. Don&#8217;t forget that you can be feeling good in no time, and that you have the power to change your experience for the better. You can&#8217;t see bliss from depression, but you can&#8217;t see depression from bliss either. You can always move toward what you want to feel, and this life is eternal. Remember that the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> brings you more of what you give your attention to. One said &#8220;<em>To Do Tomorrow</em>,&#8221; and the other said &#8220;<em>To Avoid Doing All Together</em>.&#8221; My intention was to be humorous, and most people took it that way. Because I am my own boss, no one could tell me to take it off the desk&#8230;and I liked the idea of being able to put something in a perpetual holding pattern until I was ready to deal with it. But this funny story also illustrates a few things about <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, connection to <strong><em>Source</em></strong>, and general happiness in your life. We all have things that we file in a vibrational &#8220;to do tomorrow&#8221; file, and today is a good day to look and see what you have put in there so far.</p>
<p><em>Law of Attraction</em> works all day every day to match your <em>average vibration</em> with similar thoughts, events, circumstances, and miracles that expand your idea of <em>what already is</em>. <em>Law of Attraction</em> does not give you new material to work with, but rather it adds to what you have presently. Like attracts like. The only way to change your present reality is to expand your idea of what already is, and to practice thinking, feeling, and acting in new vibrational patterns. In essence, you have to live your desires today, and feel as if you already have the new circumstance you desire. For example, if you want a new intimate relationship, you would do well to spend time in the present savoring how wonderful this relationship already is, enjoying how you feel in the new relationship, and letting yourself bliss out about it right now. If you try, you can &#8220;trick yourself&#8221; into enjoying the relationship <em>even before it appears</em>! And once you learn this technique: to appreciate, love, and enjoy things before they manifest&#8230;you will change your life into a magical expression of bliss, allowing, and connection. You see, once you think you have something, to the point of being grateful and appreciative for it NOW, it will be matched and intensified by <em>Law of Attraction</em>, and your experience will expand to include more of it. Like attracts like.</p>
<p>So when you file something you want in your mental &#8220;to do tomorrow&#8221; file, you tell <em>Law of Attraction</em> that you don&#8217;t want it today. You speak through your vibration by affirming that everything you want is coming in the future. But, of course, tomorrow never comes. Tomorrow becomes now, and next week becomes now, and next year becomes now, and unless you change your vibrational &#8220;to do tomorrow&#8221; file to read &#8220;already completed,&#8221; you will never see evidence of the things you want. What do you think about and yearn for as a future event, circumstance, or manifestation? Just finish this sentence: &#8220;Someday I will&#8230;&#8221; and you will have your list. You may say &#8220;Someday I will lose weight, have more money, have a lover, be healthy, and have a meaningful job.&#8221; None of these can ever come to you today, and tomorrow never comes either. You have to <em>refile these into a vibration of being here right now</em>. You have to feel the joy you would feel if they were here now. You just have to be a match to having them already. It&#8217;s not as hard as it may seem, and your imagination is your friend. Be child-like and enjoy pretending more. Talk like the things are already real. Savor having it all right now, then see your life change in 30 days or less. I am not kidding when I say you can attract anything you want, but you have to get out of the way and stop putting things in your &#8220;future file.&#8221; Are you ready to enjoy yourself today, knowing fully that it&#8217;s yours already? Here they are, and I look forward to hearing any others that you might have as well. Remember that your feelings and emotions tell you everything you need to know about your connection to <strong>Source</strong>. When you feel good, you are attracting things you want though the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>. When you feel disconnected, you are not allowing your desires to flow to you. But you have to feel all your feelings and not deny them. You have to reach for relief from how you feel by making the best of it, and by reaching for thoughts that feel better. Here are ways I do this every day:</p>
<ol>
<li>I stop, relax, and close my eyes for a few minutes while taking deep , cleansing breaths.</li>
<li>I think about my dogs who are cute, adorable, and connected always to <em>Source</em>.</li>
<li>I think about my amazing job, and the people I get to work with who are awesome.</li>
<li>I eat foods that feed my body with nutrients and natural energy.</li>
<li>I talk about my life in ways that feel good. I tell others how good things are, but in ways that feel true.</li>
<li>I read the &#8220;Good News&#8221; section of Gratitude Planet.</li>
<li>I call friends who I know love me and will join me in my joy.</li>
<li>I take a nap. I love naps.</li>
<li>I meditate for 10-15 minutes.</li>
<li>I take a long walk and give thanks for all the gifts in my life.</li>
</ol>

The problem with this is, of course, that you can&#8217;t give your attention to something <em>unwanted</em> without including it in your vibration. Anything you look at, observe, associate with, or perceive in any way becomes part of your personal vibration&#8230;<em>the same vibration that you send out to the Universe asking for more of the same</em>. Remember that the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> is always working perfectly to line you up with more of what you are offering in every moment. So what ever you include in your perception, you get more of over time. Everyone gets to choose what they give their attention to, so we advise you to choose only things that feel good when you think them&#8230;and literally <em>ignore the rest</em>. You may ask, &#8220;but what if I end up living under a rock, not knowing what is going on in the world?&#8221; And we say, if you feel good under the rock, blissfully unaware, through your connection you will attract many good things to you. And you may still worry &#8220;how can I function without the news and without knowing about the world around me?&#8221; It&#8217;s doesn&#8217;t need to be an &#8220;either/or&#8221; question. I suggests the following: <strong>Make your own news!</strong> Sift through the news looking for things that make you feel good while reading about them. For example, if the unemployment rate goes to 10%, think about the fact that nine out of ten people still have a job, and that things for the others will get better very soon. That feels better than focusing on the part of the story that feels bad when you read it. In fact, there may be only 10% bad news going on in the world right now. Just because the media scrapes up these bad stories and gives them 90% of the air time does NOT mean you need to give it 100% of your attention. What is the good news for you today? I can think of ten bits of good news in my life this morning:</p>
<p>1. I slept well last night</p>
<p>2. Loved breakfast today</p>
<p>3. Enjoyed a conversation with a friend last night</p>
<p>4. Found something I thought I lost</p>
<p>5. Fixed my internet connection</p>
<p>6. Digested my food efficiently</p>
<p>7. Had a good chance to do yoga and meditate this morning</p>
<p>8. Saw many smiling faces on my morning walk</p>
<p>9. Attended a great concert last night</p>
<p>10. Met some new friends that have common interests with me lest night</p>
<p>Are these stories of good news? You bet! Why give your attention to a small amount of bad news that is blown all out of proportion? Try giving your full attention to the 90% of the news that is closer, more real to you, and that feels good right now. You&#8217;ll be glad you did, and quickly you will feel good, connected to the world, and ready to receive all that you are asking for. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP</p>

Feeling better simply means moving up the <strong><em>Emotional Scale</em></strong> and finding the best thought that you have access to. But some people say that feeling grateful implies a feeling of relief from something that almost happened that was uncomfortable. Something like, &#8220;I am grateful that that car behind me didn&#8217;t hit me when I slammed on my brakes.&#8221; While this might be true, the word &#8220;gratitude&#8221; by itself does not need to imply a state just missing some sort of disappointment. What really matters is how you <em>feel</em> when you declare what you are grateful for. Some people use the word <em><strong>appreciation</strong></em> instead of <em><strong>gratitude</strong></em> when they make their positive statements, but either word can work. It&#8217;s up to you. In reality, a word is just made up of symbols that attempt to convey, in this case, a feeling or a vibration. It is the vibration that matters the most. The key is connecting to what you are feeling. So in your gratitude, color it with a good dose of <em>appreciation</em>, and connect to the best feeling you can find. How you feel is always the best indicator of your <strong><em>Point of Attraction</em></strong>, and gratitude and appreciation are always close to your <strong><em>Vortex</em></strong>, the place where you are completely connected to <strong><em>Source Energy</em></strong> and allowing all good things to flow to you. <p>Once I started using the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> consciously in my daily life, I started worrying about my thoughts more. I started noticing that I didn&#8217;t feel good as much as I thought I did. I began to worry that if I thought &#8220;wrong thoughts,&#8221; my life would crumble as the <em>Law of Attraction</em> brought me more things I thought about. I began to fear my own thoughts and feelings. I was afraid that if I thought something that didn&#8217;t feel &#8220;good&#8221; that I would have to suffer the consequences when the thoughts manifested. I started trying to NOT think certain thoughts, which is next to impossible. If I tell you NOT to think about a red rose, you have already thought about it before you finish this sentence. For a while I was caught in a &#8220;thought trap&#8221; where I tried to only be &#8220;positive&#8221; and I tried to resist &#8220;negative&#8221; thoughts and emotions. If you have ever done this, you know that it isn&#8217;t much fun at all. Being cheery when you feel cranky feels bad in the end, but if you are afraid to feel cranky&#8230;you are stuck. A happy mask doesn&#8217;t change the way you feel inside, so you are really not paying attention to your feelings, thoughts, and emotions at all. You are just ignoring all of it. Is that what we are supposed to do? Is <em>Law of Attraction</em> about ignoring how you feel? Of course, the answer is a resounding NO!</p>
<p>While the thoughts you think and the emotions you feel absolutely do create your <em><strong>point of attraction</strong></em>, <em>your feelings are your indicator of where you are</em> on the <strong><em>emotional/vibrational scale</em></strong>. If you are unfamiliar with the emotional/vibrational scale, you can read more about it <a title="understanding-and-using-the-emotional-scale" href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/2010/01/18/understanding-and-using-the-emotional-scale/" target="_self">HERE</a>. Your feelings are not to be feared because they give you important information about your present state of <strong><em>allowing</em></strong>. Your feelings tell you when you are connected to <strong><em>Source Energy</em></strong>, and also when you are resisting your <em>Source Energy</em>. It&#8217;s like your gas gauge in your car. You don&#8217;t get mad at the gas tank because it indicates that you need to stop and fill the tank, do you? (You may not like how <em>often</em> it reads empty, but that&#8217;s a different thing! LOL!) Fearing your feelings and pretending to be happy when you aren&#8217;t is just like putting a &#8220;smiley face&#8221; sticker over your gas gauge. You ignore the important information, and pretty soon there is a crisis much bigger than you had hoped for. So I learned to let my feelings be my feelings, and I started filling my emotional/vibrational tank when my &#8220;feeling gauge&#8221; told me to. I stopped fearing my thoughts and feelings, and just rode them up and down the <em>Vibrational scale</em> with ease. I relaxed more, and I found it to be very freeing.</p>
<p>I will post a list of tips that I use to fill my emotional/vibrational tank soon. Until then, just be easy about your feelings and emotions. What ever you feel is real, but it is not permanent. You are never stuck in one emotion for very long, and you can always find the best thought you have access to. Acknowledge what is, and then look for relief from the feeling. Ignoring is not a good way to manage your emotions, but feeling fully is. It&#8217;s OK to feel your feelings, and today is a great day to give yourself this permission, if you haven&#8217;t done so already. Be Well, Marie-GP</p>

In February 2010 we had 5,951 visitors, and 28,715 page views. In total, in our first six months from September to February, we have logged a respectable 20,595 visits and 90,084 page views!  Each day we get more and more registered users, and this expansion is accelerating as well. In September 2009 we started this site with the intention of adding value and joy to the lives of people all over the planet, and we are grateful to report that things are going very well. In our first month (9-09) we attracted 860 visits to <em>GratitudePlanet.com</em>, and 4,978 page views. Not bad for the first month, before we had any ranking at all in the search engines! In February 2010 we had 5,951 visitors, and 28,715 page views. In total, in our first six months from September to February, we have logged a respectable 20,595 visits and 90,084 page views!  Each day we get more and more registered users, and this expansion is accelerating as well. The trend has been a steady upward climb every month, and again, we are so grateful and appreciative that people are finding value in the site. We have a small yet growing following of loyal users who leave post comments, though we know there are many more readers than there are people who like leaving comments&#8230;and that is OK. We have received some feedback from registered users that indicates to us that the comment interface isn&#8217;t as intuitive as it could be, so I would like to explain, briefly, some features of the postings that you may not have known about up to now.</p>
<p>At the top right of every post is a pink box that looks like a dialogue box from a cartoon, and it has a number in it:</p>

I am sure that the GP Community that hasn&#8217;t posted yet is not aware of this awesome feature, and I hope more will use it in the future. Another feature you will experience when you leave a comment is the &#8220;author box.&#8221; It appears at the top of the post after a comment is made and looks like this:</p>

<p>It is just a little bio of the author, and gives you a chance to know a little about them. Some of them are more extensive, and in the case of some guest contributors, it has specific contact information or links  that you might find interesting. Once a comment is made, you can rate the comment on a scale of 1-5 for how it made you feel, and you can vote it &#8220;thumbs up&#8221; or &#8220;thumbs down.&#8221;</p>

<p>As more and more people rate our posts and comments, you will be able to search for the highest rated material if you choose to, and skip the lower rated material. You will also notice a button called &#8220;Share/Save&#8221; that gives you many options to let your friends know about a post you enjoy:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When you think about <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, it is always best to think about how <strong><em>allowing</em></strong> works. <em>Allowing</em> is the key to letting the things you want come to you in a magical way. You see, you don&#8217;t always have to try so hard to think about the things you want. If you have a desire for something, the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> has heard your wanting, and agrees with you that you should have it. It is ready to deliver it to you, as long as you don&#8217;t get in the way. How could you get in the way, you ask? One way would be to keep asking for it over and over again. But that doesn&#8217;t seem quite right, does it? You would think that as I keep asking, it might come faster&#8230;like bugging a waiter for a glass of water. But the thing is, when you ask it is always from the standpoint of knowing you don&#8217;t have it. You don&#8217;t ask for water if you already have it. You only think to ask when you know it isn&#8217;t there, and <em>Law of Attraction</em> matches you every time. Asking for something just reinforces what IS, but asking is an important first step to the creative process. So once you have asked, it is time to <em>allow</em>.</p>
<p><em>Allowing</em> is easy to understand, and not that hard to do when you pay attention. <em>Allowing</em> is simply letting in your well being. It requires you to stay out of your own way by not contradicting your own desires. In fact, allowing is a natural state of enjoying your life. When you relax and pet your cat, or pause to take in the beauty of an art work or sunset, you are in a state of <em>allowing</em>. The opposite of allowing is <em><strong>resistance</strong></em>. Resistance is NOT a flow of negative energy. It is a SLOWING of the life force that is natural to you. Hear that clearly: you allow your <strong><em>wellbeing</em></strong>, or you resist it. There is no assertion of &#8220;not-wellbeing.&#8221; Bad stuff can&#8217;t get you when you are looking away. You are either letting in wellness, prosperity, health and love, or you are pinching it off a little. It&#8217;s nice to know that you get to choose to allow or resist the flow of wellbeing, isn&#8217;t it? How can you maximize your <em>allowing</em>? By NOT resisting. If you meditate, you stop thought, and therefore you stop any resistant thought, and your stream of <em>allowing</em> increases. When you feel good you increase <em>allowing</em>. When you let go of the struggle, you increase <em>allowing</em>. When you share <strong><em>gratitude</em></strong> and <strong><em>appreciation</em></strong>, you increase your <em>allowing</em>. Any time you think the same vibrational thought as your <strong><em>Source</em></strong> does, you really ramp up your <em>allowing</em>. It&#8217;s really pretty cool.</p>
<p>Today, just feel for your <em>wellbeing</em> by relaxing into it even more. Don&#8217;t go on crusades to fix things that aren&#8217;t yours to fix, or feel the need to be right in every situation. Let people do their thing, while you do your thing. Love and appreciate, but stop trying to make things happen&#8230;instead, allow things to happen. Breathe deeply, visualize joyfully, and expand into your deepest allowing. Watch the things you want materialize without your conscious need to struggle. Let the magic of <em>Law of Attraction</em> work in your favor to expand your life into more bliss and connection. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Good Morning to the GP Community! This is just a short post from an idea I had when I woke up today. I know that when I plan a vacation, I like to talk to a professional travel agent. I like going to a person who knows better than I do what opportunities are out there for me. I enjoy deferring to them to tell me what I would enjoy, and what I can expect when I get to my destination. It is easier to let this person guide me to fun than it is to figure it all out for myself. Of course they try to find out what kind of vacationer I am by asking me what I like to do and running various ideas by me first. Having a &#8220;middleman&#8221; is great in this case. I don&#8217;t need to go to the destination and figure it out because I can trust the middleman to tell me what I need to know. But what about <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>? Is there a middleman that can guide me when it comes to attracting wealth, health, prosperity, and wellness? Can I go to someone who can tell me what I should do? The answer is yes, and no.</p>
<p>Yes, you can find out a lot of information about <em>Law of Attraction</em> by visiting sites like <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Gratitude Planet</span></strong>, reading books on the subject, and talking to others about it. But these resources are not your travel agent-type of middlemen who can tell you what to do. Only YOU know what is appropriate for you in every moment. <em>Law of Attraction</em> is alive and running in the background all the time. There is no official book that can be your middleman, telling you how to act, feel and behave to be worthy. You are already worthy. And what anyone else has done or will do is not as important to you as your own personal preferences, thoughts, feelings, and desires. Some people reject <em>Law of Attraction</em> for this reason. Some prefer, like I do with travel, to basically be told what they should do. They don&#8217;t want the responsibility to figure it out on their own. They like taking themselves out of the decision and going along with the plan set forth for them. But there is no middleman with <em>Law of Attraction</em>: You Choose! Your results and the joy in your life is based on your own vibration, and you can&#8217;t wait to be told what to think and feel.
