I was thinking this morning about the phrase “as if your life depended on it,” like when someone says “run as if your life depends on it.” It has several angles worth examining. When you say that your life depends on something, it tends to get your attention. With attention comes focus, and through focus we get clarity. When you are clear about what you want, it is easier to become aligned with an idea. When you are aligned, the Law of Attraction does it’s magic and brings more things to you that are a match to the alignment you have created. So anything that gets your attention can be of benefit to your progress as you create a deliberate life of bliss and connection.
But does your life really depend on something for its existence? Aren’t we eternal beings? Surely we will all make a transition someday back into pure, positive energy. But that won’t be an end, it will just be another transition in an ever-unfolding Universe of expansion. So if we fear death as an end, it can certainly get our attention and give us focus and motivation…but it may cause us to chase our connection to Source from a disconnected, fear-based focus. So I don’t recommend creating focus through fear. So the phrase, “live as if your life depended on it” seems less helpful from this perspective.
So this morning I am using the following phrase to focus my attention to my wellbeing: “Today I live as if my love depends on it!” I am an eternal being. My life is assured. The only real question I have today, then, is whether or not I am allowing my full connection to Source Energy (Love) or not. When I live as if my love depends on it, I take a focused look at how I feel today, knowing that I can open in love, or I can turn from love and be closed off from it. When I choose thoughts that feel good as I think them…thoughts of gratitude, appreciation, wellbeing, etc., I open up my consciousness to higher and higher (better feeling) vibrations. I become a conduit of love and connection. I uplift everyone in my experience (even through cyberspace).
Choose today to pay attention to how you feel, and see if you can allow more love into your vibration. Love yourself first, and then let that love radiate out everywhere you go, into every interaction you have. Love your day, love your cup of coffee, love your job, and love everyone you come into contact with. Your life doesn’t depend on it, but your love does. Live in love today. This summer I did something I haven’t done in years. I was visiting family and there was a large puzzle on the kitchen table in the process of being completed. Working on a puzzle looks so boring, and I hardly consider it as an activity worth spending time on. But I was on vacation, and I really wanted to spend time with family members, so I started working on the puzzle with them. I have to say, it is way more fun to work on a puzzle than it is to watch someone else work on a puzzle.
I suppose that is a good analogy for life as well: it’s so much fun to be a thriving part of an expanding and fulfilling life than it is to watch someone else thriving and expanding. Luckily, we all get to choose how our life expands through the Law of Attraction, and if there is something we want, we need only give our full attention to it and allow it into our experience. There is another great parallel to life and a puzzle: if you do the whole puzzle in anticipation of how you will feel when you put the last piece in place, you will have a lot of hard work for a small payoff at the end. And most likely, like life, you probably won’t feel a huge thrill when the last piece is in place…it will feel like the next logical step, and you will probably be ready for another puzzle. The trick is enjoying the process of putting it together, and having lots of little thrills along the way to enjoy, knowing that the end is not the goal.
If you live your life like a beautiful puzzle, there will be some immediate advantages to you. Here are some that come to me this morning:
- You know you are making something beautiful.
- You have many triumphs along the way.
- Small roadblocks release into times of great progress, as you find a section of pieces that fit together.
- You know that there is order to it all, and you can relax into full awareness that all is well, and that everything you need is provided.
- You have a job: to find the next piece. Your job is not to finish it all with the next piece, nor could you if you tried to.
- With every piece added, the whole scene gets more and more beautiful.
- Problems (pieces not found) on one day get a new perspective on another day, and you “see” things you missed the previous day.
- Others can help you see things you were missing as well.
- You don’t try to force pieces that look close but don’t fit, but rather you relax and know that the right piece is out there to complete your perfect image.
- On some level you realize that it’s really just a game. It’s probably not your first or last puzzle, so there is no rush to complete it so that you can be deserving. You are exactly in the right place at the right time, right now…doing today’s puzzle.

The last flight I took there was the normal safely lecture before the jet took off. I pretended to listen (like everyone else) and stared into space. Then, when they got to the part about the oxygen mask coming down from the ceiling it made me think of an important fact of life. This is that you must secure your own mask before helping others. What this means is that you can’t help one other person find their center and connection to Source Energy if you can’t find your own. It is honorable and right to want to be of service and value to others, but you can’t lead another to wellbeing from your sense of not-wellbeing.
The best thing you can do every day is wake, be grateful, and find your sense of bliss and wellbeing before you do anything else. If you see people throughout the day and they sense your good feeling vibration, they are going to want to join you and feel good too. Law of Attraction will line you up with others who feel good too, and you will uplift those who interact with you as well. If you don’t take care of your own vibration first, they will sense this too and will join you in not feeling good. Law of Attraction can line you up with miserable-feeling people just as easily. It’s OK to be selfish when we are talking about putting on your air mask first before you help others. Then let it be OK too that you put on your vibration of wellbeing before trying to assist others to find their wellbeing. Get into the Vortex, and then guide others there to join you. You will be so much more effective doing it in this order. Your power and influence is expanded and multiplied when you are in the Vortex and feeling good, so doing it any other way is not efficient, advisable, or even practical. Every night when you sleep, you emerge into a space where you are very allowing. You receive rest and inspiration. You let go of patterns that you might be keeping (for better or for worse) while you are awake. It is a great time to recharge. I have a technique that I have used for years to make that subconscious time even more valuable to your waking vibration: I say a short, allowing affirmation to myself before I fall asleep each night. It’s easy to do, takes almost no time, and you will feel the effects of it as soon as the next morning. Here’s what you do:
Lie quietly in your bed and close your eyes. You should be ready to drift to sleep. Create a present-tense statement that reflects something you are going to receive while you sleep. Let it be one sentence that feels good when you say it. If it is job related, you could say: “My co-workers always enjoy my leadership, and we are a fantastic team.” If it is prosperity related, you could say: “Money and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.” If you are wanting more friends, you might say: “I’m always in the right place at the right time to meet new and interesting friends.” You get the idea.
Now, what you do is you say the statement to yourself, in your mind, while feeling the truth of the statement. Have no doubt that you are allowing this thing to be attracted to you through the Law of Attraction. The first time you say the statement, emphasize EVERY word, and feel each word as a confirmation of the thing you are allowing. See each word in your mind. For example, if you use the statement for prosperity above, it might flash through your mind like this:
MONEY AND ABUNDANCE FLOW TO ME IN EVER-INCREASING AMOUNTS
Feel the truth of this statement. It is coming to you in this moment. Then, say it again emphasizing only the first word:
MONEY and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.
Again, feel deeply the truth of this statement. It is coming to you in this moment. Then, say it again emphasizing only the second word:
Money AND abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.
Continue in this pattern until you emphasize each word of the affirmation in order. Finally, emphasize the whole sentence again. The whole sequence would look like this:
MONEY AND ABUNDANCE FLOW TO ME IN EVER-INCREASING AMOUNTS!
MONEY and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money AND abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and ABUNDANCE flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance FLOW to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance flow TO me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance flow to ME endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!

At this point, relax and enjoy the fact that your mind is focused, your work is done, and your only job is to let the power of sleep do its work while you rest and receive. Look for evidence of the affirmation throughout the whole next day. You will see it. If you like the feeling of the statement, repeat it again for several nights. There is no need to do more than one statement a night. Just do it once and believe in the truth of it. Let the Law of Attraction respond to your asking without you having to “make it happen.” Enjoy, allow, receive, be grateful, and rest. Be.Love. Hannya-GP

Perhaps you spend a good amount of time thinking about what you want to attract into your experience. It’s exhilarating to enjoy life as a conscious creator. Once you know that everything you want comes to you through your attention to a subject, and that everything you don’t want comes to you through your attention to it, then all you have to do is focus on the things you want…and minimize the rest. Some people beat themselves up when they can’t seem to stay positive, or when they notice that they are thinking about unwanted things. Thoughts ARE powerful, but they don’t grab hold of your reality and manifest into events immediately. There is no need to worry. When you give your attention to things you want, and make the best of every experience you have, you are on the right track to creating the life you want.
If you fall into thoughts of lack, fear or anger, it’s totally alright, and you can always redirect and start again. There is never a point where you can’t begin again, because life is eternal. The Universe is eternal. Your consciousness is eternal. There is no one right way to be. There is only NOW, and all you have is this moment to enjoy and expand into. You don’t even need to analyze your thoughts to see what is coming to you…instead, pay close attention to how you feel. When you are inspired to action, that is because you are in alignment with your greater askings and desires. If you feel bad about an action you are thinking about taking, you are not aligned with the action, and it probably won’t bring you closer to a happy manifestation.
For fun, let every manifestation be a lesson in how you have been doing in terms of focusing on what you want to create. Let every event be evidence of how you are focusing. If something amazing happens, smile and enjoy the manifestation. When you experience a contrasting experience, tell yourself that it is a match to your thoughts, and just affirm that you will redirect to different thoughts concerning the event. Life, then, is a trial and error adventure. It is your life-lab where you get to think and manifest, and think and manifest. What you get matches the essence of the vibration associated with the thought, so the outcome is always perfect every time. Law of Attraction is perfectly consistent every time. How fun is THAT? So if you want to know what you are attracting to you, just notice how your life is going, and have fun redirecting if you feel a need to. It’s never done, so there is no hurry. Freely giving can be difficult to do. It can be scary. It can bring up all kinds of stuff around abundance, worthiness, and thoughts of lack. From a “realistic” and practical standpoint, it would stand to reason that the more you give, the less you actually have. In fact, the opposite is true. Remember that the Universe is based on the Law of Attraction, and that you can’t hold one vibration and attract a different vibrational experience at the same time. You get what you are a match to. You get more of what you are thinking and living on a regular basis. It all happens magically, through the ever-consistent and every-fair Law of Attraction.
If you are unaware of the average vibration you are maintaining, just look to see how your life is unfolding. Are you excited about what has come and also about what is yet to come? Are you knowing that through your thoughts you are allowing the energy that will let the essence of what you want to flow easily to you? If you are, keep on doing what you are doing…it’s working for you. If not, consider looking at your patterns of giving, with this slight twist: Giving can be, but doesn’t have to be, about money.
Giving is a state of vibration where you give your love and appreciation freely to everyone and everything in your experience. You certainly can leave a bigger tip for a waitress, or buy something for a friend as a surprise, or donate money to a charity…this is all a form of giving. But if you are doing this and asking “why am I not receiving in proportion to my giving?’ you may be stuck in the way you give love, gratitude, and appreciation. The next time you notice someone who has the “stuff” you want, be it a job, a car, a relationship, a website, or whatever, pay attention to how you feel about them. Are you jealous? Do you feel afraid that they might be taking all the pieces of the pie and leaving you behind? Do you get nervous that they might keep you away from the stuff you are hoping to attract? Almost everyone has a tendency to do this, and you can decide right now to pay closer attention to these thoughts from now on. Just decide that when you see someone enjoying the very things you are wanting, you will stop, change the directions of your thoughts away from withholding gratitude and appreciation, to fully giving love, appreciation and gratitude to them.
When you give the best of your vibration, loving and appreciating these people, you become a match to what they have. You no longer vibrate as a person who can’t get these things, but rather as a person who is part of these things. You enjoy the things as if they were yours, and you give them every bit of your gratitude for letting you share, even from the sidelines, a little piece of their success. This is giving too. There are times that I can’t relax because I am trying so hard to accomplish something. I get the feeling that if I just try a little harder, or focus a little more I will finally be done doing the thing I am doing. This can certainly be true when the thing is paying the bills, or painting a house, or doing the dishes. But what about when you assign that frame of mind to larger aspects of your life, like attaining enlightenment, perfecting your tennis game, or becoming wealthy and prosperous? In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be “done” and can then “arrive” in some new place or mindset.
Have you ever heard yourself say: “I’ll be happy when I can pay these bills’” or a similar statement. When you do this, you use Law of Attraction to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only responds to your vibration and not your words. So saying “I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens” keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place.
We are all eternal beings, and there is no “there” to get to. The best way to have everything you want right now is to enjoy everything you have right now. There is a perfection in our imperfection…our journey can’t be completed…because it never ends. So don’t wish for the better day to come. Instead, look for the evidence that makes THIS day your best day so far.
Find as many excuses as you can to love your journey right now. Be grateful for everything you have today. No matter what you are doing today, find the perfection in the process. If you love your NOW, you will start ushering in amazing new NOWS as your future becomes the present over and over again. You will no longer long for your work to be over so you can relax into your wellbeing, because you will already be relaxing into the best part…and the ONLY part we have access to…the present. For all of our Gratitude Planet community located outside of the United States who might not know it, today is Independence Day in the US. It’s a day to reflect on all the gifts we have, all the people that we appreciate, and the freedoms we enjoy in an open society. People are generally off work and are gathering with friends and family for a cookout and a local parade. It’s the perfect day to whip up some Gratitude and Thanks, and now is the perfect moment to let the horses run on a rampage of appreciation and gratitude.
Start with Thanks. Wherever you are right now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you can think of that you are thankful for. Your inner monologue may be something like “Thank you for the weather today, thank you for the air I am breathing, thank you for the clothes I am wearing, thank you for the eyes I use to see, thank you for my mind that helps me think, thank you for the …..” You get to decide what feels best to you.
Next take two minutes to be Grateful. It might go something like this: “I am grateful for my job (or job prospects), and I am grateful for my amazing living space that feels so good to be in, and I am grateful for my interactions with others, both in person and in cyberspace, and I am grateful for my coffee maker that creates a perfect morning drink for me, and I am grateful for…” Again, the words you choose are the right ones for you. Next move to Appreciation. Appreciation feels a little more connected than Gratitude, which is why you should move through Thanks, to Gratitude, and then to Appreciation.
So now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you appreciate. Don’t worry if you repeat some things that you have already said. Your inner monologue may be something like “I appreciate my spouse who loves me so much, and I appreciate my body and all its health and wisdom, and I appreciate my dog who always seems connected and free, and I appreciate Source Energy and its consistent flow of well-being into my experience, and I appreciate…”
If you do these three simple exercises, you will feel a shift in your vibration. You will move up the Vibrational Scale. Your cork will begin to float again…and you will definitely feel an expansion in the way you feel. You will be able to move into love and bliss. You will have done the inner work required to change your world for the better. You will be able to carry this vibration into your whole day. As consciousness having a human experience on planet Earth, we are by nature “doers.” We like to do things, and we like to see results from our actions. It is easy to start seeing our actions as the only way things come to us, and to put artificial pressure on ourselves to “do more” and to “be motivated.” Working harder can be fun, and seeing better and better results feels very good. But if you are seeing fewer results from your efforts than you would like to, it may be a good time to examine how you have been approaching your actions. Have you been inspired, or just motivated? If you have been a regular visitor to GratitudePlanet.com, you know that we encourage being present and expanding into not doing anything sometimes.
Not doing is a powerful way to let go and to allow. However, it doesn’t mean that you should sit in your house and wait for someone to come feed, clothe, and exercise your body for you! There is a time for not doing, and there is a time for doing. If you are in the habit of waking up to a full run and going about your day at light speed, you may be feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially if the pace has been this way for a while. If so, try this approach for a week (if you need to rise earlier to get quiet time in your household, do so): wake and list ten things you appreciate or are grateful for in your life. Hold them to you and be silent. Expand into the wonderful feeling of these gifts in your life. Sit quietly and picture yourself doing the things you love to do. See yourself sailing, or painting, or singing, or dancing, or laughing with others, or enjoying your new house, or your new relationship, or whatever…you know best and you get to choose. Don’t put limits on your own mind, and just allow yourself to experience these thoughts as if they were already a manifested experience in your reality.
As you do this exercise, you will start to receive important information from the Universe in the form of new pictures in your imagination, or in the form of a feeling of inspiration. You will come to a new awareness and clarity about what only you can do this day. You will get a clearer sense of your priorities and goals for the day, and you will be inspired to move forward into action. When you feel this, stop the meditation exercise and start the action side of your day, following the inspiration you have received.
Actions that are undertaken with uninspired motivation are harder to accomplish, less fun, and leave you feeling worse than before you did the action. Inspired action puts you into the flow of the Universe, so you enjoy the experience more, you have more ease in the process, and you have perfect timing with resources appearing effortlessly as they are needed. You will attract the things you need through Law of Attraction, and you will feel the perfection of the process more and more. Inspired action is easy and invigorating. Motivation can be draining over time. So today, notice how you are moving into your doing phase. Try this inspiration meditation for a week and journal all the things you accomplish. The Law of Attraction is a consistent, fair, and always predictable law of the Universe: you attract to you the things that you give your attention to, regardless of if you want them. You have an ability to spin your perception in ways that make the best of any situation, and in doing so, you literally change the way that the Universe manifests for you. The most important part of harnessing the power of the Law of Attraction is to notice how you feel. If you feel good, you are attracting everything you are asking for vibrationally. If you feel bad, you are attracting things that you won’t like very much when they appear in your reality. But there is no need to stop thinking thoughts, or to panic and attempt to censor your mind. In fact, trying to stop a thought in its tracks is next to impossible. Instead, you are better off relaxing and redirecting your thoughts to something that feels a little better. The point is to notice how you feel, acknowledge where you are, and always move toward things that feel better. Simply turning from things that make you feel worse…just thinking about something else…is all you need to do to “stop” the thoughts that feel worse.
Not long ago I wrote about a game I play as I go through my day. It helps you keep track of how you are focusing your attention on any subject. I call it the “That Feels Good” game. In this game, you just pay attention to how your day unfolds in terms of how it feels to you. In this game there are only two phrases: “That feels bad” or “That feels good.” When you say “that feels bad” to yourself, it’s time to redirect. When you say “that feels good” to yourself, you just drink in and savor and appreciate the moment for the good feeling it brings. You might even follow a good-feeling experience deeper to see if it gets better and better.
Here are some examples to clarify this.
1. Someone who is talking to you shifts their focus to all the problems they have been experiencing. It goes on and on. You calmly say to yourself “this feels bad” and think of a way to redirect. You may give them words of comfort, or help them see a silver lining in the situation…or you may just be silent and let them talk themselves out. See if you can elicit a “that feels good” from your vibration. If you can’t then it’s time to move on to another encounter with someone else, as opposed to helping them whip up the disconnection by participating fully in it.
2. You are in a grocery story in the checkout line, and someone cuts the line. You feel some negative emotion and say to yourself “that feels bad.” You have two choices. You can continue to feel bad and maybe even confront the person, or possibly stew about it to yourself, or start talking to another customer about the “injustice,” or you can find something else to focus upon that feels better. In this case you might notice an adorable child in the cart behind you, smile at it, and start up a very pleasant conversation with the parent of the child. If so, you might feel you connection return. You would say “that feels good.” Then continue to enjoy the interaction. The line cutter is no longer part of your vibrational attraction.
3. You are out shopping and the day is going well: the lights all turn green as you roll up, you get the parking spaces you want, and the traffic is flowing well. Every time you notice one of these events going your way, just say out loud or to yourself “that feels good.” Smile and rejoice that you have perfect timing. Bask in it. Noticing that acknowledging that you feel good actually makes you feel even better.
4. You are having a good time at work, and all your activities feel rewarding. Suddenly an email comes in from someone who recently had a disagreement with you. You look quickly to determine that there is no new information in the letter, and you notice strongly “that feels bad.” In a microsecond you tap the DELETE key, and in a few seconds you begin to feel your connection return. Before long, you will be able to say, once again, “that feels good.”
This is a game, so there is no need to be serious about it. Just notice how you feel and what you say to yourself in your “inner speak.” If you don’t have strong feelings either way, just say nothing. By following your bliss throughout the day, you will enjoy the process more, you will love the day more, and you will be using the Law of Attraction to put everything you want at your finger tips. When you go out to eat at a buffet, you get to choose the things you want to eat in the exact amounts that you want to eat them. And a really good buffet will have foods that you can try for the first time, as well as exotic delights that you might not try if you were ordering off the menu. I great buffet is fun, and enjoying so many diverse tastes can be a real treat. Have you ever considered that life is a thought buffet? You are born into this body, and you immediately begin interacting with many diverse vibrations. You emerge into a world of diversity where you are able to choose from a vast variety of thoughts and ideas that you can then give your attention to. Law of Attraction then helps bring you more things that have a similar essence of vibration…and you get to choose again…and it never ends. However, some people choose their thoughts with less care than they choose food at a buffet! At a buffet most people look at all the food available, decide which ones they will enjoy the most, and then they give their plate a good helping of these foods. No one looks for the foods they hate so that they can get a heaping plate full. They don’t worry that foods they dislike can get on their plate, and they know that the existence of foods they dislike do not stop them from choosing the foods that they do like. They also know that the foods they do not prefer might be a favorite choice of someone else. We acknowledge that when it comes to food, everyone likes something a little different.
Thoughts are exactly the same, and it is good practice to choose your thoughts at least as carefully as you choose your food. For example, if you think a thought that feels bad while you are thinking it, it’s like eating a food you are allergic to, even if it seems to taste alright at first. No thought can kill you, so just look for one that feels better and continue choosing from the thought buffet. Look for thoughts that feel like your favorite foods feel when you eat them: feast on thoughts that you enjoy thinking. Never worry that you need to stop people from thinking the way they choose to think, because it’s not your job to police the buffet. In fact, when you try to stop someone from thinking a thought or from believing a certain way, you are putting the essence of the unwanted thing on your plate and you are including it in your vibration. The Law of Attraction draws things to you, and it never pushes things away. So your thought buffet is a Universal buffet with everything you can imagine in it. You get to choose what you include, and it’s not your business to worry about what others might choose. Be masterful and choose the things you love, and savor them like a food critic. Continually upgrade to thoughts you like more and more. When you make a choice you don’t like…and you will often…just forget that thought and pick another one. Refuse to eat foods (think thoughts) that make you sick. Be healthy, be love, and be connected to Source. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

I think singing is a great way to move energy and feel better. I am always humming a tune or singing my favorite song, and I encourage you to do it too. Remember the old song “Don’t Worry, Be Happy?” This is the song I have stuck in my head as I write this. When you are happy, everything you want is flowing to you from the Universe, and is it always being managed amazingly by the Law of Attraction. You have a huge amount of power whenever you can get to a place of feeling good, and a powerful step toward feeling good is feeling grateful. When you acknowledge your gratitude, you drop the resistance you hold toward the world. When you feel glad to be where you are, you ask the Universe to align you with wonderful things. When you hold onto thoughts that uplift the spirit, you find your place in the eternity of the moment. When you expand your list of things that are going well for you, you invite even more prosperity into your experience. Don’t worry, be happy is a good mantra to live by today. But if happy is not in your immediate vibrational range, simply count your blessings and wait for the floodgates of happiness to be right behind the gratitude. In fact, if gratitude could be your baseline for the way you feel, bliss would be your experience even more of the time. So don’t worry…be Grateful. Be.Love, Hannya-GP

It’s Memorial Day in the United States, and I just love an extra day to just remember the things that I am grateful for. It makes me think of the song “Let There Be Peace On Earth” because of the message it contains: “Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me.” It makes sense that we should be like the thing we want, because that’s how the Law of Attraction lines you up with things. Law of Attraction draws things to you by sensing your vibration and matching it with other thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are similar. And as we have been discussing in others posts on GP, giving your attention to something is all you have to do to start vibrating like it. You are what you think, and what you interact with and focus on becomes your point of attraction…meaning that the Universe is bringing you more and more of it constantly. The phrase “and let it begin with me” is very wise advice for deliberate creators because it puts the emphasis right where it belongs: on you!
When you want to attract something to you, you need to vibrate and become one with it first. In practical terms, if you want more money and prosperity, you must first begin to feel like you have more money and prosperity. If you want an intimate relationship with a new person, you have to feel like the person is already there. If you want peace for the Earth, you must first make peace with yourself and the people in your immediate vicinity.
Try this today: make a list of several words that you think best describe what you want to see in others, or in the world. Only you know the best words for you today, but some of these might include: honest people, caring friends, peaceful world, loving family, prosperous economy, thriving health, etc.. Choose one and decide that you are going to let this greater desire begin with YOU! Become quiet, breathe calmly and deeply, and “see” yourself having achieved this greater desire. Feel how you would feel if it were already yours to have. Imagine others interacting with you and commenting on this thing you now have, and how great you look and feel having achieved it. Project this feeling outward toward everything in the Universe. Expand into the knowing that you were able to align with these desires easily, and that you can do it again…easily…on any subject you choose. Give thanks and end the visualization with the knowledge that you have literally created a point of attraction that will create magic in your day. You are now ready to line up with evidence of your alignment through perfect timing, “chance” encounters, and new and exciting developments in all areas of your life. Stick to one or two desires for two to four weeks, and just enjoy the process of already having what you want to see in the world. Say to yourself, “Let there be _____ on Earth, and let it be me, breathe me, and live through me right now.” Try it and let us know how it worked for you. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

It has been said in many circles that perception is reality. But science, and quantum physics specifically, is beginning to explain that this is literally true. In the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know” evidence is presented that explains how we interact with the quantum field. In essence, they explain that energy exists in a wave when no one observing it, and it exists in particle form when someone IS observing it. The observer literally changes the reality of the quantum field through interacting with it. If we have this ability to snap reality into place when we observe it, then why can’t we have an effect over the reality it embodies? Leading scientists are saying exactly this: we create reality with our perception of it. Over the years philosophers have hinted at this, and even Shakespeare said that “life is a stage,” equating it with the made-up reality of theater. If you can accept the role you play in the creation of reality through your perception, and if you can accept that your perception is greatly affected by the thoughts you think, then you can logically conclude that your thoughts create reality…literally. Knowing this, doesn’t it make sense that you would want to frame your perception to suit your greater desires? How would you do this? Here are a few examples:
1. Stuck in traffic: held up so I can meet up with something important later today.
2. Not in a relationship: getting ready to meet the perfect person who is almost ready to meet me.
3. Unhealthy: honing a strong desire to allow better health and thriving.
4. Stressed: focused and productive and ready to relax very soon.
5. Broke: creating amazing prosperity through strong contrast around money.
6. Uninspired: ready for a new direction
You may think that these are just euphemisms for bad-feeling thoughts. Yes, it’s true. But the feelings behind these thoughts are what really matters here. If you can learn to spin these thoughts into the best possible story you can tell, then you can learn to find the best in ALL stories you tell. Feel the relief that the new statement brings to your consciousness. Assure yourself that you are literally changing the quantum field with your improved framing of reality. Soon you will see reality bending to your interpretation of it. People will call you lucky and fortunate. You will have things begin to work out for you in amazing ways. You will become the master of your life. When people ask, you will say, “I decide what form my quantum field takes, and I am picky about the things I like to experience.” Or maybe you will just smile and say thanks for the support. Either way, taking control of your life will feel wonderful, and you will be in the Vortex of creation where Law of Attraction can bring you all you desire. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

1. Thank You for the way I awoke refreshed this morning, feeling good and in the Vortex.
2. I am grateful for Law of Attraction that always matches me up with more of what I think, feel and do.
3. I appreciate my partner who had sweet things to say to me over a cup of coffee. Even my coffee smiled at me!
4. I love the way the sun came up to shine a clear ray at me and warm my face.
5. I am grateful for my car that starts every day and gets me to work safely.
6. I give thanks for the safe drivers on the freeways who are clear minded and connected.
7. I give thanks for my iPod (and car input jack) that is always ready to serenade me with my favorite songs.
8. I appreciate my job for the prosperity and fun it brings to my daily life.
9. I love my family for being who they are and for loving me as I am.
10. I am grateful for the smiles I receive from strangers I see while walking the sidewalks of my city.
11. I appreciate the internet for making my life easier to manage and easier to navigate through.

I enjoyed Lisa’s post yesterday about Lao Tzu and his advice to do nothing. Doing nothing is a big part of allowing everything. There are many other spiritual teachers that guide you toward the state of just “Being” as well. When you are in a peaceful and calm state of mind, a place where you are one with the thoughts of the Universe, you are truly one with everything. In fact, when you can get to this mental state, you are in an allowing place where the Law of Attraction can work magic in your life. It is a great space where everything you are asking for, both with your words and with your vibrations, can easily flow to you in a series of perfect manifestations. It is a magical state. The only question left to ask is: “why don’t I find myself in this state of mind more often than I do?” The answer is intimately connected to this question: “What are you doing that keeps you from entering this state more often?” You see, you are the only one who can keep you away from your natural state of just being. When you stop resisting the flow of energy that the Universe is sending to you, you automatically connect to your well being. So it’s not so much about trying to do anything. It’s more about letting go of the things you do that keep it all from you. For example, you may do your best to meditate everyday. But when you meditate, do you let go of the chatter of your brain and just trust in the magic of the moment? Are you afraid to let go because you might “waste” the time that you could be using to solve the problems of your day? To just BE, you must BELIEVE that all is well, and you must TRUST that you are receiving powerfully through your NOT doing.
To enter Being, you must Believe that your work is done for the moment. You must allow your fear to melt into knowing. You must free yourself from worrying about the details and affirm that Law of Attraction will manage the details for you. When you try to Be without believing, you will doubt yourself, you will be frustrated that more is not coming to you sooner, and you will feel very alone and apart from Source Energy. So today, relax and believe that all is well, because it really is! Let yourself find peace in this moment, right now. You can be excited for what may come in the next moment, but believe in this sacred space and let now be the best moment so far. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

I love working with a law as consistent as the Law of Attraction because I can tell what I have been asking for vibrationally by paying attention to what life is bringing to me. In other words, what I think about, and what I get in reality, will always be a perfect match. The Law of Attraction is based on another law called the Law of Inclusion. This law states that what ever I give my attention to is instantly invited (through vibrational forces) into my experience. There is no such thing as “No” in this Universe, and pushing away or against something is to say “Yes” to it. If I have an experience with anything, I am inviting the vibrational essence of it into my reality and enticing it to manifest in my life. Your attention to anything equals your invitation to it into your life.
Yah, but…there are a whole lot of things in the world that I can’t avoid, but that I don’t necessarily want to invite into my experience. There are people doing lots of things that I don’t want to experience personally, and unless I keep my head under a rock, I am going to be aware of them some of the time. How can I live in this world and still be informed about it’s variety and contrast? The answer is that you always get to choose how your focus your mind and attention, and the key is to notice how you feel as you focus. There is no better indicator than your emotions to tell you what is and what is not appropriate your you. What others are focusing on and what they are getting is really none of your business, and your job is to focus your own thoughts to attract into your life all that you are wanting. Here is one example to help illustrate this point:
If you like scary movies, and they thrill you, then your emotions will tell you so as you get a lift and a hit from watching them. If, however, scary movies make you fearful and tense, then your emotions are telling you that you might not want to give this piece of “reality” your undivided attention for too long. Scary movies by themselves are neither good nor bad, but the thoughts, feelings, and emotions you experience as you interact with the movie matters very much. The Law of Inclusion makes no differentiation between wanted and unwanted vibrations, and it sort of assumes that if you give your focus to something, you must want more of it to manifest. So can watching scary moves and practicing a vibration of fear attract more fearful experiences? You bet! Can watching good-feeling programs expand your feelings of connection to Source, and hence bring more connected manifestations to you as well? Yes indeed! It’s always about what you choose to focus upon.
Today, just notice what you give your attention to a little more. If the radio is playing talk shows about people who are angry and dis-empowered, how long do you listen before you turn to something that feels better? How much do you talk to yourself about your problems rather than thinking about possible solutions? How much do you allow yourself to bask in gratitude and joy for the things you already have? Just notice and pay attention a little more. Then follow your intuition toward the best-feeling experiences available to you. The more you focus on feeling good, the more the Law of Attraction will match you with more good-feeling experiences. It becomes an upward spiral that will quickly create the life you want and deserve. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

I just want to share a few thoughts about all the gifts we have in our lives right now. Today you will have conversations to share, encounters with others, problems to solve, and things to observe. As you move through your day, look to see if you can find the “silver lining” in each moment. The silver lining is the gift that is hidden (or not so hidden) in each event that happens to you, happens near you, or happens because of you. Some people might believe that there is no greater meaning in any of these events, yet science is showing more and more that there is an inter-connectivity in the Universe that we are only just beginning to study and understand. I truly believe that you can feel this connected nature of reality in your life right now…in this moment. You just have to be curious, attentive, and care about how you feel. Remember that the Law of Attraction responds to the average practiced vibration that you have going on, and that feeling better is your most important task. Looking for gifts helps you stay on track by helping you notice how you feel, and then by prompting you to make the best of any given experience.
So what do I mean when I say to look for the gifts inherent in everything that happens to you, happens near you, or happens because of you? What I literally mean is that you can take a moment to reflect upon your present moment, and in the process find a positive reason that you drew the experience to you through Law of Attraction. For example, if someone on the street stops and gives you a compliment for some random thing, make a statement about the gift you received. Maybe you could say or think “people find me open and approachable. I just received the gift of this person’s positive frame of reference. Thank you!” Or maybe you observe children playing, and you see them laughing and cooperating through a game on the playground. This too is a gift, but what is the gift? You intuition will splash inspiration to you if you pause and open to it. You may be inspired to say or think “children live in tremendous connection and they live in their wellbeing most of the time. My gift here is to remember that I was a child, that I am a child of Source Energy, and that I have the same access to love, bliss, and connection as those children do. I open and receive these gifts right now.” Feel your vibration raise a little bit, and bask in the reality of feeling better on account of this tremendous gift you have received. Perhaps you are taking the trash out one morning, and you see some litter that has blown near your home, or into your neighbor’s property. You decide to pick up the trash on your way to the curb and you are faced with a choice. Do you think about the gift, or do you go in another direction? You know what I want you to do! You have an opportunity to receive in ever moment. So what does picking up trash have to do with receiving a gift? Then you get the message. You say or think “I am a person who lives in a clean and tidy environment. I want more than ever to have pristine vistas that I get to enjoy. I love that I get to help this be so, and I expect the Universe to expand this vibration more and more for me. I see the world as clean and healthy. Thank you for this gift that helped me clarify this desire even more powerfully.”
Life is a gift that keeps on giving. Are you ready to receive these gifts? They will keep coming regardless of your ability to perceive them, so why not get into the receiving mode? Why not become more open to the magic in the Universe? Why not hone your ability to direct your thoughts and focus so that you can harness the Law of Attraction to your greatest advantage? Why wait to be happy, connected, and expanded? Let every day of your life be like a cosmic birthday party thrown in your honor. You deserve it. Be.Love, Hannya-GP

The phrase “follow your bliss” has become a well known one in the minds of many people. Yet, what does it mean to you? If you are following your bliss, does it mean that you don’t remember to do the things you need to do in your life? Do you become likely to not feed your pets, clean your house, or be there for friends and family? While following your bliss probably does imply a certain amount of spontaneity in your choices and actions, it also implies that these choices are made through direct connection to Source Energy. One person connected to source is more clear, more centered, and more likely to make appropriate decisions, and demonstrate caring actions, than a person who is not feeling a connection to Source. Following your bliss means that you make choices from a place of inspired action, and that you move forward with a knowledge and a belief in a positive outcome. In your bliss you line up with situations and events that are perfectly unfolding before you, and you gain an incredible sense of timing…always being in the right place at the right time. “Blissing out” is not an escape from reality, but rather an intensification of reality where you gain clarity and purpose. Being in your bliss maximizes the positive effect of the Law of Attraction. When you feel good, Law of Attraction brings you more and more experiences to match it!
But what if you can’t find bliss, feel bliss, or perceive any bliss in your vibration? How do you follow what you can’t feel? The answer is, you can’t! What you can do, however, is find a feeling that feels better than the one you are feeling. In any moment, you can choose thoughts that either move you closer, or that move you farther away from, your bliss. The Vibrational/Emotional Scale helps you know where you are at all times. No matter what you are feeling, you have access to feelings that feel a little less resistant, that feel like relief, and that feel more connected than the ones you are feeling right now. Reach for the best thought you can, and then reach again. Before long, bliss will be in your range. Once you are there, bask in bliss like you would bask in the sun at the beach on a perfect summer day. Milk it for all it’s worth, and keep reaching for the feeling of connection. Your greatest gift, and your greatest responsibility is to be a connected being. The rest is just details. You will still feed your cat…the only difference is that you will totally appreciate your cat while you serve it. Your cat, however, will probably feel the same way about you that it always has.

When you were a child you knew your worth and value in a way that you may have forgotten to some degree at this point in your life. You didn’t doubt that you were supposed to be YOUR center of YOUR Universe, and you lived in a way that relaxed yourself into who you are, possibly more deeply than you do as an adult. I think somewhere along the way, as we grow and have more experiences, we lose a sense of that wonder and security that we were born with on this planet. I also think that at some point, some possibly well-meaning people helped us forget all of this. They encouraged us to be less childish, and to think of putting others first. They told us not to be so self-centered. They taught us that we should give more than we get, share our toys, and to be nice to our mothers. I agree that these things are part of life’s greater lessons (especially being nice to your mother!) But I also think that somewhere along the way, we sacrificed the quality of being “childlike” on the alter of trying not to be “childish.” Somehow, most of us learned to be adults by turning away from being childlike while trying to be less childish. Childishness is something that we do (and should) outgrow. It is not necessary to cry when we are hungry, or to hold on to our toys so no one can play with them. But we do not need to lose our childlike qualities, which I will define next.
To be childlike is to have wonder for the moment. It means that you love right now, and you are amazed by everything you see. You have a sense of the perfection of what you are observing. You are open to any possibility. You feel at one with the present. Being childlike means loving yourself. It means having a firm knowing that you came from greatness, and that you embody greatness. Being childlike means knowing you are an extension of Source Energy, and that you are a particular piece of unique expression in your body. Childlike people are not closed to others, but are open channels of love and light. They have a curious nature, and they are centered in who they are. They are secure in their expression, and they are willing to let themselves follow a path of joy. To a person who is childlike, anything is possible. They know that all they have to do is follow a desire, and the Universe will help that desire come true. Disney has made a fortune reminding us of this quality in ourselves…though as adults, we may look back on these qualities and think that it is all fantasy, or that it is actually childish to believe in such things anymore. But what you know deep down is that dreams can, and do, come true.
Law of Attraction is the law that holds that like attracts like. Every vibration in the Universe is attracting other similar vibrations unto it, and like gravity, energies converge in a cosmic dance of perfection. What you think, feel, and do is transmitted to the farthest reaches of creation, and your signal is responded to by others signals like it. You sense this by sensing your own energy and thinking; if you think a thought for about 17 seconds, another similar thought will appear to join it. Keep thinking in the same way, and more and more thoughts will arrive; before too long, the essence of the thinking, and the incredible energy behind the thoughts, will be experienced as an event in your present. So if you want to manifest something, you have to hold the thought of it actually happening, like you did in your childlike early life. You have to believe that your dreams are possible, and that you deserve to be special, loved, and complete. When you let yourself relax into believing with the innocence of your inner child, anything IS possible for you. Law of Attraction makes this so.
Let yourself be less childish, yet more childlike, today. Find something really cool to observe and just say “Wow!” Be in love with your life’s expression a little more. The rules of the Law of Attraction are quite easy to understand, but are perhaps more difficult to practice deliberately. Simply stated, you attract to you the things that match your vibration. Your life, then, unfolds perfectly based on what the Universe “hears” you asking for. You never stop asking, however. You ask with every thought, with every thing you observe, and with every interaction you have with everything. We are all perpetual askers. Another way to say this is that you ask for what you want by focusing on it, and you ask for what you don’t want by focusing on it. Both (wanted and unwanted) are drawn into your experience by your attention to them. It makes sense, then, to give your full attention to the things you want so that you can manifest the wanted things into your experience.
If you have been playing with these ideas, but are a little frustrated that things are not happening more quickly for you, you may be taking score too soon. Once you have asked for something, usually by living some contrast that clarifies what you do want…you need to change your focus slightly. If you keep thinking of yourself as someone who needs the new thing, you may be keeping yourself in a pattern where the Universe brings you more of the same. Universal Forces line you up with things that match the essence of where you are…but the Law of Attraction doesn’t care if you are experiencing something, or just living it in your imagination: it matches you up with more of where you think you are vibrationally. For example, if you ask for money because you don’t have much, the Universe “hears” you and lines you up with more money. But the vibration you need to align with to manifest it fully is “I have more money” and not “hey, where’s my money!” It’s an amazing Catch 22 here…you can’t have it until you feel you already have it…but as long as you don’t have it, it’s tricky to feel like you have it.
Here is something I suggest to get you through the doubt stages of manifestation. Once you have identified something you are asking for, be it prosperity, a new relationship, a better job, or whatever, relax and affirm that your “work” is completed. Visualize the essence of this thing in your mind, and see it already coming to you in full form and completion. Feel the complete thrill of having it already. See yourself enjoying it in as many ways as you can imagine. See yourself telling others how much fun you are having with the thing in your experience. Picture it, but more importantly feel and love the essence of it right now.
Once you have done this visualization (and do it as often as you can), start looking right away for evidence of it coming to you, and be grateful and appreciative for every sign you see. If you are looking for more money, pick up that penny in the street and tell yourself “see, I am prosperous and the Universe brings me unexpected income. This is just the tip of the ice burg for me.” Resist the temptation to say something like “just a penny? Universe, I never have enough. You didn’t HEAR me, did you?” If you look for the small clues, and affirm that they are attached to bigger and bigger clues that eventually usher in the full manifestation, you will rejoice in the smaller evidence as if it were the whole experience coming into your full awareness. The clues ARE there. Your wellbeing is assured. Let go, look for evidence of it, and appreciate the magic of the Law of Attraction. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

There are times in your life when you know exactly what you want, and you can get very focused in terms of manifesting it. There are other times, however, where you can seem to be waiting for inspiration to take hold and guide you toward the next thing you want. Either way, life has gifts for you to enjoy. When you have been experiencing periods of contrast, you get a clear picture of what you want to manifest. For example, if you get really sick, then you create a very strong desire for health…and Law of Attraction answers immediately by creating a vibrational YOU who is in better health. If you have financial challenges that get chronic, then you create a very strong desire for prosperity…and Law of Attraction answers immediately by creating a vibrational YOU who is experiencing immense wealth and prosperity. You job, once this has all been done, is to become the new you with the expanded experience. It isn’t about attracting the new thing. You are literally becoming a new you, experiencing a new vibration with an expanded perspective. This is important because most people try to allow the new thing from the place where they are standing…in essence, trying to vibrate differently from the same vibrational standpoint. To move ahead into a new vibration you need to relax, allow, and be willing to be the new you. Yet, your ego perspective will do it’s best to talk you into staying in the same patterns that you have established. The ego likes to hold on to what it has for fear of losing everything. Yet, there is no end to the expansion of the Universe, and you will always be alive in some form. If you want to experience a new manifestation, play with the idea of being a new you…the idea of changing enough to be the new you with the new thing. If you do this, you will more easily imagine yourself in the new vibration, having a thrilling experience in the new place as the new you. We all have troubles and challenges in our lives, and it is the contrast that assists us in creating new desires. Something that doesn’t go well for you automatically creates an improved condition vibrationally, and the new condition can then appear in your “real” life as soon as you allow it in. Life is really supposed to be more about allowing and less about contrast, but sometimes we simply get caught up in the “nitty-gritty details” of creating. Stopping contrast and challenge in our life is not possible or recommended, and one of the best ways to work with it is just to accept challenges when they come, and then to focus on the new perspective or solution that emerges through the experience. Another way to say this is to “go with the flow” and then use the power of optimism to make the best of it. By approaching life this way, you allow the Law of Attraction to assist you powerfully because you will spend a majority of your focus and energy looking at what you want, and not recreating and enhancing the contrasting conditions. Yet, some people seem to spend a majority of their time in the contrast…but this is not necessary. The beauty is that we are all completely free to choose how we direct our focus, and no one can be forced to experience something that they do not invite in vibrationally. What you live and experience is always a perfect match to the vibrational signal you have been offering over time. What you have right now is the perfect unfolding of your average thoughts, feelings, and actions over the recent past. How’s it going for you today?
Regardless of how happy you are with your results right now, know that the Universe is NOT balanced in terms of well being and “not well being.” In fact, it only includes well being. Instead of good and bad, there is only well being, and the resistance of well being, which is interpreted as it’s opposite. But the momentum of the Universe will always will, if you let it. Another way to say this this is that if you give up the struggle and just become still in this moment, well being will flow to you. There is no force that can take you over when you pause for a second. There is no stream of bad stuff that can carry you away when you aren’t paying attention. The Universe is set up to be stacked in your favor, and in the favor of bliss, joy, love, gratitude, appreciation, and connection to Source Energy. Life is supposed to be good, and you have a 100% chance of loving this life if you are willing to let the stream of well being carry you. Are you willing? Lately I have been feeling so happy! I took the advice I have been reading here to heart and decided to give all my attention to things that make my heart sing. This doesn’t (at least for me) mean that I am living under a rock…not at all. No one could notice a big change in the way I move through my day, but I notice a really big difference. So what has changed, you ask? Simply put, I am navigating by feeling. I’ll give a few examples here.
- I am sitting in my apartment reading a magazine and I see a picture of a person smiling. It makes me feel good, and I begin to smile too. Instead of turning the page, like I would usually do, I stick on the good feeling of drinking in the smile, and I let it fill my body with joy. Then, when I am ready to move on, I move on.
- I am in the grocery store admiring the fresh fruit aisle when I see a young child being pushed by an adult. The child reaches out to touch something, and the adult slaps her hand and yells at her. I acknowledge the event, but I immediately turn to the next aisle to admire the next display of abundance. Normally I would have stewed and been mad at the adult all day, even after I left the store. This time I keep my connection and begin again in the new space to feel better and better.
- I am walking down the street and I see a street musician playing an accordion. He’s not that good. Instead of thinking of what he isn’t, I think about what he is: an extension of the same God Force that pulses through me. He is also an extension of Source Energy. His music speaks to me in a new way, and I feel an urge to drop a five dollar bill in has case. He smiles. I feel great. In my Bliss, I feel more and more Blessed.
I have been feeling my way through these past few weeks more and more. I have been feeling better and better. I have experienced personally how the Law of Attraction brings you more and more of what ever you focus on. As I have been choosing to turn from yuck and steer toward yes, I have been getting more and more “YES!” In fact, I didn’t think there was this much “yes” out there for little ‘ole me. The more I choose feeling good, the more I see to feel good about. It’s not a vicious cycle, it’s an upward spinning vortex of joy that I can’t seem to stop (and why would I want to stop it!) In my darkest moments of feeling not so good, I sometimes wonder if I have seen the best of my life pass me by. I think that all the most fun times might be behind me, and that I need to hold on to what I have and milk the last bit of bliss out of it. This “hold on and retreat”mentality is not something I am proud of, and I am sure you can relate to it on some level. Luckily, my darkest moments are few and far between, and I don’t stay there very long when I go there. Knowing about Law of Attraction and the emotional scale, I just reach for a feeling of relief and try to find the best feeling thought I have in my brain. But here’s the thing that floors me every time: when I move up the vibrational/emotional scale and feel better, I discover something new and exciting about my life! I find a new thing that I didn’t expect to find that thrills me like a kid on Christmas. It’s like the Universe is able to hear my desires better than I can, and then bring me some of it for me to enjoy. These new things might not seem very significant to someone observing from outside my reality, but from the inside out…these are good-feeling, very significant things. These are experiences that I enjoy so much, that feel like they were created on the spot for me to enjoy. In these moments, I can’t relate AT ALL to my “dark” moments…which makes sense, because you can’t be very far away from where ever you are right now vibrationally. So in your darkest times, don’t forget that there is a world of love, bliss, and connection available to you. Don’t forget that you can be feeling good in no time, and that you have the power to change your experience for the better. You can’t see bliss from depression, but you can’t see depression from bliss either. You can always move toward what you want to feel, and this life is eternal. Relax and observe your life today, no matter where you are. It can always get better, and the Universe has no end to the joys it can send your way! Be.Love today, Hannya-GP
