It&#8217;s exhilarating to enjoy life as a conscious creator. Once you know that <em><strong>everything you want</strong></em> comes to you through your attention to a subject, and that <strong><em>everything you don&#8217;t want </em></strong>comes to you through your attention to it, then all you have to do is focus on the things you want&#8230;and minimize the rest. Some people beat themselves up when they can&#8217;t seem to stay positive, or when they notice that they are thinking about unwanted things. Thoughts ARE powerful, but they don&#8217;t grab hold of your reality and manifest into events immediately. There is no need to worry. When you give your attention to things you want, and make the best of every experience you have, you are on the right track to creating the life you want.</p>
<p>If you fall into thoughts of lack, fear or anger, it&#8217;s totally alright, and you can always redirect and start again. There is never a point where you can&#8217;t begin again, because life is eternal. The Universe is eternal. Your consciousness is eternal. There is no one right way to be. There is only NOW, and all you have is this moment to enjoy and expand into. You don&#8217;t even need to analyze your thoughts to see what is coming to you&#8230;instead, pay close attention to how you feel. When you are inspired to action, that is because you are in alignment with your greater askings and desires. If you feel bad about an action you are thinking about taking, you are not aligned with the action, and it probably won&#8217;t bring you closer to a happy manifestation.</p>

Remember that the Universe is based on the Law of Attraction, and that you can't hold one vibration and attract a different vibrational experience at the same time. You get what you are a match to. You get more of what you are thinking and living on a regular basis. It all happens magically, through the ever-consistent and every-fair Law of Attraction.]]></description>

It can be scary. It can bring up all kinds of stuff around abundance, worthiness, and thoughts of lack. From a &#8220;realistic&#8221; and practical standpoint, it would stand to reason that <em>the more you give, the less you actually have</em>. In fact, the opposite is true. Remember that the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> is based on the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, and that you can&#8217;t hold one vibration and attract a different vibrational experience at the same time. You get what you are a match to. You get more of what you are thinking and living on a regular basis. It all happens magically, through the ever-consistent and every-fair <em>Law of Attraction.</em></p>
<p>If you are unaware of the average vibration you are maintaining, just look to see how your life is unfolding. Are you excited about what has come and also about what is yet to come? Are you knowing that through your thoughts you are allowing the energy that will let the essence of what you want to flow easily to you? If you are, keep on doing what you are doing&#8230;it&#8217;s working for you. If not, consider looking at your patterns of giving, with this slight twist: <em>Giving can be, but doesn&#8217;t have to be, about money.</em></p>
<p>Giving is a state of vibration where you give your love and appreciation freely to everyone and everything in your experience. You certainly can leave a bigger tip for a waitress, or buy something for a friend as a surprise, or donate money to a charity&#8230;this is all a form of giving. But if you are doing this and asking &#8220;why am I not receiving in proportion to my giving?&#8217; you may be stuck in the way you give love, gratitude, and appreciation. The next time you notice someone who has the &#8220;stuff&#8221; you want, be it a job, a car, a relationship, a website, or whatever, pay attention to how you feel about them. Are you jealous? Do you feel afraid that they might be taking all the pieces of the pie and leaving you behind? Do you get nervous that they might keep you away from the stuff you are hoping to attract? Almost everyone has a tendency to do this, and you can decide right now to pay closer attention to these thoughts from now on. Just decide that when you see someone enjoying the very things you are wanting, you will stop, change the directions of your thoughts away from withholding gratitude and appreciation, to fully giving love, appreciation and gratitude to them.</p>
<p>When you give the best of your vibration, loving and appreciating these people, <em>you become a match to what they have</em>. You no longer vibrate as a person who can&#8217;t get these things, but rather as a person who is part of these things. You enjoy the things as if they were yours, and you give them every bit of your gratitude for letting you share, even from the sidelines, a little piece of their success. This is giving too. In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be "done" and can then "arrive" in some new place or mindset. We might say "I'll be happy when I can pay these bills'" or a similar statement. When you do this, you use Law of Attraction to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only responds to your vibration and not your words. So saying "I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens" keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place. We are eternal beings, and there is no "there" to get to. The best way to have everything you want right now is to enjoy everything you have right now.  There is a perfection in our imperfection...our journey can't be completed...because it never ends. So don't wish for the better day to come. ]]></description>

I get the feeling that if I just try a little harder, or focus a little more I will finally be done doing the thing I am doing. This can certainly be true when the thing is paying the bills, or painting a house, or doing the dishes. But what about when you assign that frame of mind to larger aspects of your life, like attaining enlightenment, perfecting your tennis game, or becoming wealthy and prosperous? In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be &#8220;done&#8221; and can then &#8220;arrive&#8221; in some new place or mindset.</p>
<p>Have you ever heard yourself say: &#8220;I&#8217;ll be happy when I can pay these bills&#8217;&#8221; or a similar statement. When you do this, you use <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only <em>responds to your vibration and not your words</em>. So saying &#8220;I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens&#8221; keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place.</p>

You will no longer long for your work to be over so you can relax into your wellbeing, because you will already be relaxing into the best part&#8230;and the ONLY part we have access to&#8230;the present. <p>For all of our <strong><em>Gratitude Planet</em></strong> community located outside of the United States who might not know it, today is Independence Day in the US. It&#8217;s a day to reflect on all the gifts we have, all the people that we appreciate, and the freedoms we enjoy in an open society. People are generally off work and are gathering with friends and family for a cookout and a local parade. It&#8217;s the perfect day to whip up some Gratitude and Thanks, and now is the perfect moment to let the horses run on a rampage of appreciation and gratitude. </p>
<p>Start with <strong>Thanks</strong>. Wherever you are right now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you can think of that you are thankful for. Your inner monologue may be something like &#8220;Thank you for the weather today, thank you for the air I am breathing, thank you for the clothes I am wearing, thank you for the eyes I use to see, thank you for my mind that helps me think, thank you for the &#8230;..&#8221; You get to decide what feels best to you. </p>
<p>Next take two minutes to be <strong>Grateful</strong>. It might go something like this: &#8220;I am grateful for my job (or job prospects), and I am grateful for my amazing living space that feels so good to be in, and I am grateful for my interactions with others, both in person and in cyberspace, and I am grateful for my coffee maker that creates a perfect morning drink for me, and I am grateful for&#8230;&#8221; Again, the words you choose are the right ones for you. Next move to <strong>Appreciation</strong>. Appreciation feels a little more connected than Gratitude, which is why you should move through Thanks, to Gratitude, and then to Appreciation. </p>
<p>So now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you appreciate. Don&#8217;t worry if you repeat some things that you have already said. Your inner monologue may be something like &#8220;I appreciate my spouse who loves me so much, and I appreciate my body and all its health and wisdom, and I appreciate my dog who always seems connected and free, and I appreciate <strong><em>Source Energy</em></strong> and its consistent flow of well-being into my experience, and I appreciate&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>If you do these three simple exercises, you will feel a shift in your vibration. You will move up the <strong>Vibrational Scale</strong>. Your cork will begin to float again&#8230;and you will definitely feel an expansion in the way you <em>feel</em>. You will be able to move into love and bliss. You will have done the inner work required to change your world for the better. You will be able to carry this vibration into your whole day. Enjoy the freedom you have to feel better today, and as always, enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP</p>

See yourself sailing, or painting, or singing, or dancing, or laughing with others, or enjoying your new house, or your new relationship, or whatever...you know best and you get to choose.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hard-work.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1309" title="hard-work" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hard-work-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></a>As consciousness having a human experience on planet Earth, we are by nature &#8220;doers.&#8221; We like to do things, and we like to see results from our actions. It is easy to start seeing our actions as the only way things come to us, and to put artificial pressure on ourselves to &#8220;do more&#8221; and to &#8220;be motivated.&#8221; Working harder can be fun, and seeing better and better results feels very good. But if you are seeing fewer results from your efforts than you would like to, it may be a good time to examine how you have been approaching your actions. Have you been inspired, or just motivated? If you have been a regular visitor to <a title="Gratitude Planet" href="http://www.gratitudeplanet.com" target="_blank"><em>GratitudePlanet.com</em></a>, you know that we encourage being present and expanding into <strong><em>not doing</em></strong> anything sometimes.</p>
<p>Not doing is a powerful way to let go and to <em>allow</em>. However, it doesn&#8217;t mean that you should sit in your house and wait for someone to come feed, clothe, and exercise your body for you! There is a time for not doing, and there is a time for doing. If you are in the habit of waking up to a full run and going about your day at light speed, you may be feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially if the pace has been this way for a while. If so, try this approach for a week (if you need to rise earlier to get quiet time in your household, do so): wake and list <em>ten things</em> you appreciate or are grateful for in your life. Hold them to you and be silent. Expand into the wonderful feeling of these gifts in your life. Sit quietly and picture yourself doing the things you love to do. See yourself sailing, or painting, or singing, or dancing, or laughing with others, or enjoying your new house, or your new relationship, or whatever&#8230;you know best and you get to choose. Don&#8217;t put limits on your own mind, and just allow yourself to experience these thoughts as if they were already a manifested experience in your reality.</p>
<p>As you do this exercise, you will start to receive important information from the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> in the form of new pictures in your imagination, or in the form of a feeling of inspiration. You will come to a new awareness and clarity about what only you can do this day. You will get a clearer sense of your priorities and goals for the day, and you will be <em>inspired to move forward into action</em>. When you feel this, stop the meditation exercise and start the action side of your day, following the inspiration you have received.</p>
<p>Actions that are undertaken with uninspired motivation are harder to accomplish, less fun, and leave you feeling worse than before you did the action. <em>Inspired action</em> puts you into the flow of the <em>Universe</em>, so you enjoy the experience more, you have more ease in the process, and you have perfect timing with resources appearing effortlessly as they are needed. You will attract the things you need through <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, and you will feel the perfection of the process more and more. Inspired action is easy and invigorating. Motivation can be draining over time. So today, notice how you are moving into your doing phase. Try this inspiration meditation for a week and journal all the things you accomplish. The most important part of harnessing the power of the Law of Attraction is to notice how you feel. If you feel good, you are attracting everything you are asking for vibrationally. If you feel bad, you are attracting things that you won't like very much when they appear in your reality. But there is no need to stop thinking thoughts, or to panic and attempt to censor your mind.]]></description>

The most important part of harnessing the power of the <em>Law of Attraction</em> is to notice how you <strong><em>feel</em></strong>. If you feel good, you are attracting everything you are asking for vibrationally. If you feel bad, you are attracting things that you won&#8217;t like very much when they appear in your reality. But there is no need to stop thinking thoughts, or to panic and attempt to censor your mind. In fact, trying to stop a thought in its tracks is next to impossible. Instead, you are better off relaxing and redirecting your thoughts to something that <em>feels a little better</em>. The point is to notice how you feel, acknowledge where you are, and always move toward things that feel better. Simply turning from things that make you feel worse&#8230;just thinking about something else&#8230;is all you need to do to &#8220;stop&#8221; the thoughts that feel worse.</p>
<p>Not long ago I wrote about a game I play as I go through my day. It helps you keep track of how you are focusing your attention on any subject. I call it the <em>&#8220;That Feels Good&#8221;</em> game. In this game, you just pay attention to how your day unfolds in terms of how it feels to you. In this game there are only two phrases: &#8220;That feels bad&#8221; or &#8220;That feels good.&#8221;  When you say &#8220;that feels bad&#8221; to yourself, it&#8217;s time to redirect. When you say &#8220;that feels good&#8221; to yourself, you just drink in and savor and appreciate the moment for the good feeling it brings. You might even follow a good-feeling experience deeper to see if it gets better and better.</p>
<p>Here are some examples to clarify this.</p>
<p>1. <strong>Someone who is talking to you shifts their focus to all the problems they have been experiencing.</strong> It goes on and on. You calmly say to yourself &#8220;this feels bad&#8221; and think of a way to redirect. You may give them words of comfort, or help them see a silver lining in the situation&#8230;or you may just be silent and let them talk themselves out. See if you can elicit a &#8220;that feels good&#8221; from your vibration. If you can&#8217;t then it&#8217;s time to move on to another encounter with someone else, as opposed to helping them whip up the disconnection by participating fully in it.</p>
<p>2. <strong>You are in a grocery story in the checkout line, and someone cuts the line.</strong> You feel some negative emotion and say to yourself &#8220;that feels bad.&#8221; You have two choices. You can continue to feel bad and maybe even confront the person, or possibly stew about it to yourself, or start talking to another customer about the &#8220;injustice,&#8221; or you can find something else to focus upon that feels better. In this case you might notice an adorable child in the cart behind you, smile at it, and start up a very pleasant conversation with the parent of the child. If so, you might feel you connection return. You would say &#8220;that feels good.&#8221; Then continue to enjoy the interaction. The line cutter is no longer part of your vibrational attraction.</p>
<p>3. <strong>You are out shopping and the day is going well: the lights all turn green as you roll up, you get the parking spaces you want, and the traffic is flowing well.</strong> Every time you notice one of these events going your way, just say out loud or to yourself &#8220;that feels good.&#8221; Smile and rejoice that you have perfect timing. Bask in it. Noticing that acknowledging that you feel good actually makes you feel even better.</p>
<p>4. <strong>You are having a good time at work, and all your activities feel rewarding. </strong>Suddenly an email comes in from someone who recently had a disagreement with you. You look quickly to determine that there is no new information in the letter, and you notice strongly &#8220;that feels bad.&#8221; In a microsecond you tap the DELETE key, and in a few seconds you begin to feel your connection return. Before long, you will be able to say, once again, &#8220;that feels good.&#8221;</p>
<p>This is a game, so there is no need to be serious about it. Just notice how you feel and what you say to yourself in your &#8220;inner speak.&#8221; If you don&#8217;t have strong feelings either way, just say nothing. By following your bliss throughout the day, you will enjoy the process more, you will love the day more, and you will be using the <em>Law of Attraction</em> to put everything you want at your finger tips. You will live your day from inside the <strong><em>Vortex</em></strong>, where all the things you want are ready to manifest. Try it and let me know if you get great results. In fact, when you try to stop someone from thinking a thought or from believing a certain way, you are putting the essence of the unwanted thing on your plate and you are including it in your vibration. The Law of Attraction draws things to you, and it never pushes things away. So your thought buffet is a Universal buffet with everything you can imagine in it. ]]></description>

And a really good buffet will have foods that you can try for the first time, as well as exotic delights that you might not try if you were ordering off the menu. I great buffet is fun, and enjoying so many diverse tastes can be a real treat. Have you ever considered that <em>life is a thought buffet?</em> You are born into this body, and you immediately begin interacting with many diverse vibrations. You emerge into a world of diversity where you are able to choose from a vast variety of thoughts and ideas that you can then give your attention to. <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> then helps bring you more things that have a similar essence of vibration&#8230;and you get to choose again&#8230;and it never ends. However, some people choose their thoughts with less care than they choose food at a buffet! At a buffet most people look at all the food available, decide which ones they will enjoy the most, and then they give their plate a good helping of these foods. No one looks for the foods they hate so that they can get a heaping plate full. They don&#8217;t worry that foods they dislike can get on their plate, and they know that the existence of foods they dislike <em>do not stop them from choosing the foods that they do like</em>. They also know that the foods they do not prefer might be a favorite choice of someone else. We acknowledge that when it comes to food, everyone likes something a little different.</p>

I am always humming a tune or singing my favorite song, and I encourage you to do it too. Remember the old song &#8220;<em>Don&#8217;t Worry, Be Happy?</em>&#8221; This is the song I have stuck in my head as I write this. When you are happy, everything you want is flowing to you from the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong>, and is it always being managed amazingly by the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>. You have a huge amount of power whenever you can get to a place of <em>feeling good</em>, and a powerful step toward feeling good is feeling <strong>grateful</strong>. When you acknowledge your <em>gratitude</em>, you drop the resistance you hold toward the world. When you feel glad to be where you are, you ask the <em>Universe</em> to align you with wonderful things. When you hold onto thoughts that uplift the spirit, you find your place in the eternity of the moment. When you expand your list of things that are going well for you, you invite even more <em>prosperity</em> into your experience. <em>Don&#8217;t worry, be happy</em> is a good mantra to live by today. But if happy is not in your immediate vibrational range, simply count your blessings and wait for the floodgates of happiness to be right behind the <em>gratitude</em>. In fact, if <em>gratitude</em> could be your baseline for the way you feel, bliss would be your experience even more of the time. So don&#8217;t worry&#8230;be <em><strong>Grateful</strong></em>. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/inner-peace.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1200" title="inner-peace" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/inner-peace-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>It&#8217;s Memorial Day in the United States, and I just love an extra day to just remember the things that I am grateful for. It makes me think of the song &#8220;Let There Be Peace On Earth&#8221; because of the message it contains: &#8220;Let there be peace on Earth, <em>and let it begin with me</em>.&#8221; It makes sense that we should be like the thing we want, because that&#8217;s how the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> lines you up with things. <em>Law of Attraction</em> draws things to you by sensing your vibration and matching it with other thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are similar. And as we have been discussing in others posts on GP, giving your attention to something is all you have to do to start vibrating like it. You are what you think, and what you interact with and focus on becomes your<em> point of attraction</em>&#8230;meaning that the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> is bringing you more and more of it constantly. The phrase &#8220;and let it begin with me&#8221; is very wise advice for deliberate creators because it puts the emphasis right where it belongs: on you!</p>
<p>When you want to attract something to you, you need to <em>vibrate and become one with it</em> first. In practical terms, if you want more <em><strong>money</strong></em> and <strong><em>prosperity</em></strong>, you must first begin to <em>feel</em> like you have more money and prosperity. If you want an intimate relationship with a new person, you have to feel like the person is already there. If you want peace for the Earth, you must first make peace with yourself and the people in your immediate vicinity.</p>
<p>Try this today: make a list of several words that you think best describe what you want to see in others, or in the world. Only you know the best words for you today, but some of these might include: honest people, caring friends, peaceful world, loving family, prosperous economy, thriving health, etc.. Choose one and decide that you are going to let this greater desire begin with YOU! Become quiet, breathe calmly and deeply, and &#8220;see&#8221; yourself having achieved this greater desire. <em>Feel</em> how you would feel if it were already yours to have. Imagine others interacting with you and commenting on this thing you now have, and how great you look and feel having achieved it. Project this feeling outward toward everything in the Universe. Expand into the knowing that you were able to align with these desires easily, and that you can do it again&#8230;easily&#8230;on any subject you choose. Give thanks and end the visualization with the knowledge that you have literally created a point of attraction that will create magic in your day. You are now ready to line up with evidence of your alignment through perfect timing, &#8220;chance&#8221; encounters, and new and exciting developments in all areas of your life. Stick to one or two desires for two to four weeks, and just enjoy the process of already having what you want to see in the world. Say to yourself, <em><strong>&#8220;Let there be _____ on Earth, and let it be me, breathe me, and live through me right now.&#8221;</strong></em> Try it and let us know how it worked for you. But science, and quantum physics specifically, is beginning to explain that this is literally true. In the movie <strong>&#8220;What the Bleep Do We Know&#8221;</strong> evidence is presented that explains how we interact with the quantum field. In essence, they explain that energy exists in a wave when no one observing it, and it exists in particle form when someone IS observing it. The observer literally changes the reality of the quantum field through interacting with it. If we have this ability to snap reality into place when we observe it, then why can&#8217;t we have an effect over the reality it embodies? Leading scientists are saying exactly this: we create reality with our perception of it. Over the years philosophers have hinted at this, and even Shakespeare said that &#8220;life is a stage,&#8221; equating it with the made-up reality of theater. If you can accept the role you play in the creation of reality through your perception, and if you can accept that your perception is greatly affected by the thoughts you think, then you can logically conclude that your thoughts create reality&#8230;literally. Knowing this, doesn&#8217;t it make sense that you would want to frame your perception to suit your greater desires? How would you do this? Here are a few examples:</p>
<p>1. <strong>Stuck in traffic:</strong> held up so I can meet up with something important later today.</p>
<p>2. <strong>Not in a relationship:</strong> getting ready to meet the perfect person who is almost ready to meet me.</p>
<p>3. <strong>Unhealthy:</strong> honing a strong desire to allow better health and thriving.</p>
<p>4. <strong>Stressed:</strong> focused and productive and ready to relax very soon.</p>
<p>5. <strong>Broke:</strong> creating amazing prosperity through strong contrast around money.</p>
<p>6. <strong>Uninspired:</strong> ready for a new direction</p>
<p>You may think that these are just euphemisms for bad-feeling thoughts. Yes, it&#8217;s true. But the feelings behind these thoughts are what really matters here. If you can learn to spin these thoughts into the best possible story you can tell, then you can learn to find the best in ALL stories you tell. Feel the relief that the new statement brings to your consciousness. Assure yourself that you are literally changing the quantum field with your improved framing of reality. Soon you will see reality bending to your interpretation of it. People will call you lucky and fortunate. You will have things begin to work out for you in amazing ways. You will become the master of your life. When people ask, you will say, &#8220;I decide what form my quantum field takes, and I am picky about the things I like to experience.&#8221; Or maybe you will just smile and say thanks for the support.
