This summer I did something I haven’t done in years. I was visiting family and there was a large puzzle on the kitchen table in the process of being completed. Working on a puzzle looks so boring, and I hardly consider it as an activity worth spending time on. But I was on vacation, and I really wanted to spend time with family members, so I started working on the puzzle with them. I have to say, it is way more fun to work on a puzzle than it is to watch someone else work on a puzzle.
I suppose that is a good analogy for life as well: it’s so much fun to be a thriving part of an expanding and fulfilling life than it is to watch someone else thriving and expanding. Luckily, we all get to choose how our life expands through the Law of Attraction, and if there is something we want, we need only give our full attention to it and allow it into our experience. There is another great parallel to life and a puzzle: if you do the whole puzzle in anticipation of how you will feel when you put the last piece in place, you will have a lot of hard work for a small payoff at the end. And most likely, like life, you probably won’t feel a huge thrill when the last piece is in place…it will feel like the next logical step, and you will probably be ready for another puzzle. The trick is enjoying the process of putting it together, and having lots of little thrills along the way to enjoy, knowing that the end is not the goal.
If you live your life like a beautiful puzzle, there will be some immediate advantages to you. Here are some that come to me this morning:
- You know you are making something beautiful.
- You have many triumphs along the way.
- Small roadblocks release into times of great progress, as you find a section of pieces that fit together.
- You know that there is order to it all, and you can relax into full awareness that all is well, and that everything you need is provided.
- You have a job: to find the next piece. Your job is not to finish it all with the next piece, nor could you if you tried to.
- With every piece added, the whole scene gets more and more beautiful.
- Problems (pieces not found) on one day get a new perspective on another day, and you “see” things you missed the previous day.
- Others can help you see things you were missing as well.
- You don’t try to force pieces that look close but don’t fit, but rather you relax and know that the right piece is out there to complete your perfect image.
- On some level you realize that it’s really just a game. It’s probably not your first or last puzzle, so there is no rush to complete it so that you can be deserving. You are exactly in the right place at the right time, right now…doing today’s puzzle.

Every night when you sleep, you emerge into a space where you are very allowing. You receive rest and inspiration. You let go of patterns that you might be keeping (for better or for worse) while you are awake. It is a great time to recharge. I have a technique that I have used for years to make that subconscious time even more valuable to your waking vibration: I say a short, allowing affirmation to myself before I fall asleep each night. It’s easy to do, takes almost no time, and you will feel the effects of it as soon as the next morning. Here’s what you do:
Lie quietly in your bed and close your eyes. You should be ready to drift to sleep. Create a present-tense statement that reflects something you are going to receive while you sleep. Let it be one sentence that feels good when you say it. If it is job related, you could say: “My co-workers always enjoy my leadership, and we are a fantastic team.” If it is prosperity related, you could say: “Money and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.” If you are wanting more friends, you might say: “I’m always in the right place at the right time to meet new and interesting friends.” You get the idea.
Now, what you do is you say the statement to yourself, in your mind, while feeling the truth of the statement. Have no doubt that you are allowing this thing to be attracted to you through the Law of Attraction. The first time you say the statement, emphasize EVERY word, and feel each word as a confirmation of the thing you are allowing. See each word in your mind. For example, if you use the statement for prosperity above, it might flash through your mind like this:
MONEY AND ABUNDANCE FLOW TO ME IN EVER-INCREASING AMOUNTS
Feel the truth of this statement. It is coming to you in this moment. Then, say it again emphasizing only the first word:
MONEY and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.
Again, feel deeply the truth of this statement. It is coming to you in this moment. Then, say it again emphasizing only the second word:
Money AND abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.
Continue in this pattern until you emphasize each word of the affirmation in order. Finally, emphasize the whole sentence again. The whole sequence would look like this:
MONEY AND ABUNDANCE FLOW TO ME IN EVER-INCREASING AMOUNTS!
MONEY and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money AND abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and ABUNDANCE flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance FLOW to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance flow TO me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance flow to ME endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!

At this point, relax and enjoy the fact that your mind is focused, your work is done, and your only job is to let the power of sleep do its work while you rest and receive. Look for evidence of the affirmation throughout the whole next day. You will see it. If you like the feeling of the statement, repeat it again for several nights. There is no need to do more than one statement a night. Just do it once and believe in the truth of it. Let the Law of Attraction respond to your asking without you having to “make it happen.” Enjoy, allow, receive, be grateful, and rest. Be.Love. Hannya-GP

Perhaps you spend a good amount of time thinking about what you want to attract into your experience. It’s exhilarating to enjoy life as a conscious creator. Once you know that everything you want comes to you through your attention to a subject, and that everything you don’t want comes to you through your attention to it, then all you have to do is focus on the things you want…and minimize the rest. Some people beat themselves up when they can’t seem to stay positive, or when they notice that they are thinking about unwanted things. Thoughts ARE powerful, but they don’t grab hold of your reality and manifest into events immediately. There is no need to worry. When you give your attention to things you want, and make the best of every experience you have, you are on the right track to creating the life you want.
If you fall into thoughts of lack, fear or anger, it’s totally alright, and you can always redirect and start again. There is never a point where you can’t begin again, because life is eternal. The Universe is eternal. Your consciousness is eternal. There is no one right way to be. There is only NOW, and all you have is this moment to enjoy and expand into. You don’t even need to analyze your thoughts to see what is coming to you…instead, pay close attention to how you feel. When you are inspired to action, that is because you are in alignment with your greater askings and desires. If you feel bad about an action you are thinking about taking, you are not aligned with the action, and it probably won’t bring you closer to a happy manifestation.
For fun, let every manifestation be a lesson in how you have been doing in terms of focusing on what you want to create. Let every event be evidence of how you are focusing. If something amazing happens, smile and enjoy the manifestation. When you experience a contrasting experience, tell yourself that it is a match to your thoughts, and just affirm that you will redirect to different thoughts concerning the event. Life, then, is a trial and error adventure. It is your life-lab where you get to think and manifest, and think and manifest. What you get matches the essence of the vibration associated with the thought, so the outcome is always perfect every time. Law of Attraction is perfectly consistent every time. How fun is THAT? So if you want to know what you are attracting to you, just notice how your life is going, and have fun redirecting if you feel a need to. It’s never done, so there is no hurry. Freely giving can be difficult to do. It can be scary. It can bring up all kinds of stuff around abundance, worthiness, and thoughts of lack. From a “realistic” and practical standpoint, it would stand to reason that the more you give, the less you actually have. In fact, the opposite is true. Remember that the Universe is based on the Law of Attraction, and that you can’t hold one vibration and attract a different vibrational experience at the same time. You get what you are a match to. You get more of what you are thinking and living on a regular basis. It all happens magically, through the ever-consistent and every-fair Law of Attraction.
If you are unaware of the average vibration you are maintaining, just look to see how your life is unfolding. Are you excited about what has come and also about what is yet to come? Are you knowing that through your thoughts you are allowing the energy that will let the essence of what you want to flow easily to you? If you are, keep on doing what you are doing…it’s working for you. If not, consider looking at your patterns of giving, with this slight twist: Giving can be, but doesn’t have to be, about money.
Giving is a state of vibration where you give your love and appreciation freely to everyone and everything in your experience. You certainly can leave a bigger tip for a waitress, or buy something for a friend as a surprise, or donate money to a charity…this is all a form of giving. But if you are doing this and asking “why am I not receiving in proportion to my giving?’ you may be stuck in the way you give love, gratitude, and appreciation. The next time you notice someone who has the “stuff” you want, be it a job, a car, a relationship, a website, or whatever, pay attention to how you feel about them. Are you jealous? Do you feel afraid that they might be taking all the pieces of the pie and leaving you behind? Do you get nervous that they might keep you away from the stuff you are hoping to attract? Almost everyone has a tendency to do this, and you can decide right now to pay closer attention to these thoughts from now on. Just decide that when you see someone enjoying the very things you are wanting, you will stop, change the directions of your thoughts away from withholding gratitude and appreciation, to fully giving love, appreciation and gratitude to them.
When you give the best of your vibration, loving and appreciating these people, you become a match to what they have. You no longer vibrate as a person who can’t get these things, but rather as a person who is part of these things. You enjoy the things as if they were yours, and you give them every bit of your gratitude for letting you share, even from the sidelines, a little piece of their success. This is giving too. Law of Attraction is a fair and consistent law, and it works even when you aren’t aware of it. All you do is think and feel and act, and think and feel and act, and then observe the results you get in your life. The Law of Attraction tunes into your vibration, which is the sum total vibrational average of your thoughts, feelings, and actions over time. What your life is right now is a perfect reflection of your vibrational offering in the recent past. People wonder why they can experience something unpleasant even when they feel good in the moment, and this is because it is your average vibrational offering that creates your point of attraction, and this point of attraction is what Law of Attraction matches and magnifies in your experience.

So if you feel snarky most of the time, and you talk about things in terms of your disappointment with the present, it makes sense that Law of Attraction will line you up with more critical, cutting, snide, cranky, and irritable experiences for you to “enjoy,” even when you feel happy for a few moments at a time. The key to all of this is to turn the emotional corner and find a way to feel better more of the time.
Feeling better is the key, but changing your behavior is the goal. If your life is not thrilling you enough, you have to change the input that creates your point of attraction, and then Law of Attraction will also work for you in more pleasing ways. Here are a few tips for turning the emotional corner, and all of these ideas can make you think, act, and feel differently.
- Exercise more. Take a walk, run in the woods, or get on a stationary bike. While you exercise, tell yourself: “I am opening to my greater health, and my body is very wise. I give myself love and health, and I receive love and health from the Universe.” Feel every cell in your body respond to your affirmations. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Eat Better. No matter what you have been eating, change your diet a little. The phrase “you are what you eat” is a good rule of thumb, so if you want to feel differently, try eating differently. Do a juice fast, or a true fast. But a cook book and make some new meals that you haven’t made before. notice that the food makes you feel differently. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Talk Less. That’s right. Talk less. If your point of attraction has you lining up with things you don’t like, you are probably in a habit of talking about things in a disconnected way. Talk less, and listen more. Even observe the way you talk to yourself in your own mind. Be kind to yourself, and love yourself more. Let whatever cognitive dissonance your have going melt into awareness of your perfect relationship to love and allowing. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Practice Optimism. While you are talking less and observing your thoughts more, turn your thoughts into better-feeling, more positive statements. Make it a game, and enjoy the process. Fr example, if you are doing something and you are beating yourself up, do it a little less. If you say “I really suck at this,” notice, laugh to yourself, and think again. Say “do over” and tell yourself “now I may suck at this, but I am getting better and better with every try. Soon I will suck less at this.” minor change…big vibrational shift. You are turning the emotional corner.
- Stop “should-ing” on yourself. Do you do things just because you “should?” Doing this can evolve into acting by default, and living out patterns of actions and thoughts that mess up your pint of attraction. Do everything because you choose to, and not because you feel you should do it. I would wager that at least 20% of the actions people choose are by default because they feel they are supposed to do it that way. Get your “should” together. You are turning the emotional corner.
See if doing all of this makes a difference to the way you feel. If it does, you are turning the emotional corner. When you think, feel and act differently then your life must change. I look forward to hearing about your successes. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

When it comes to watching TV, everyone has their favorite stations to dial up. Some people prefer reality shows, and others like movies; some prefer documentaries, while others thrive on news shows. It’s a great thing that everyone gets to choose what kinds of shows they invest their time and attention into. In the same way that our friends reflect our character as people, I think our TV tastes lend insight into our vibrational states as well. The kinds of programs you are attracted to are generally a match to the thoughts you have been thinking, and the feeling of the show most likely reinforces your present state. You are what you watch.
This is exactly how Law of Attraction works in your everyday reality. There are many things that you could give your time and attention to, and you have an ability to choose how you focus. Everything you see, observe, imagine, and participate in becomes your present and continued reality. Law of Attraction takes note of your preferences based on what you give your attention to, and then it supplies you with more of the same. It’s as if your life is a TV station that has an unlimited supply of the same reality show, and you get to view it over and over again. If you really, really like your show, you will be in a connected state, and you will be in the Vortex. You will have a feeling of exuberance and joy as you live your day. If you life feels disconnected most of the time, and you would say things could be going a lot better, it may be time to switch the channel to something that feels better. But how do you do this?
Changing your channel is not as hard as it sounds. Once you decide to give your attention to a new channel, Law of Attraction will start finding you some alternate programming to enjoy. However, don’t expect the next show to be a lot different than the present show. There will be a time lag between your new request and the new shows, so you have to turn your focus and stick with it until you attract something that feels a little better. Let me illustrate this another way…
Let’s say you are looking for a job. Everywhere you go you get no interview, or you don’t get the job after the interview. Your reality show, then, is “I don’t have a job.” The cycle goes like this: you think the thought “I don’t have a job,” and then tell someone “I don’t have a job,” and then feel bad while you think “I don’t have a job,” and then you apply for a job while you think “I don’t have a job,” and on and on. Law of Attraction sends you more and more episodes of “I don’t have a job.” You feel bad and you are out of the Vortex altogether. Life seems to stuck in an endless cycle of reruns that feel bad. As soon as you realize that the show you have tuned into sucks, it’s time to change the channel. Hear your self think “I don’t have a job,” and then reach for a thought that feels a little better. You might think “I have a job,” but that thought won’t feel good…it will feel worse because you know it isn’t true. So think “I have a chance of getting a job soon.” If that feels better than “I don’t have a job,” say it again to yourself. Think it for a short time, and you will be able to think an even better-feeling thought. You might think “I will be in the right place and the right time to get a great job.” If this feels better still, then you are doing the right thing to change your channel.
In a few days or maybe weeks, you will completely change the channel you have been experiencing in your reality show called life. Things will turn, you will have new opportunities, and before long you will have that new and exciting job. Law of Attraction will respond to whatever you give your attention to, so you have the ultimate control and power to be, do, or have anything you want. So today, observe what reality show you are living, and decide if you like it enough to watch endless reruns. If you like it, savor it and be grateful for it. If you don’t prefer it, start reaching for a better channel by thinking thoughts that feel better. The remote is in your hand, and you get to choose…always. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

There are times that I can’t relax because I am trying so hard to accomplish something. I get the feeling that if I just try a little harder, or focus a little more I will finally be done doing the thing I am doing. This can certainly be true when the thing is paying the bills, or painting a house, or doing the dishes. But what about when you assign that frame of mind to larger aspects of your life, like attaining enlightenment, perfecting your tennis game, or becoming wealthy and prosperous? In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be “done” and can then “arrive” in some new place or mindset.
Have you ever heard yourself say: “I’ll be happy when I can pay these bills’” or a similar statement. When you do this, you use Law of Attraction to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only responds to your vibration and not your words. So saying “I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens” keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place.
We are all eternal beings, and there is no “there” to get to. The best way to have everything you want right now is to enjoy everything you have right now. There is a perfection in our imperfection…our journey can’t be completed…because it never ends. So don’t wish for the better day to come. Instead, look for the evidence that makes THIS day your best day so far.
Find as many excuses as you can to love your journey right now. Be grateful for everything you have today. No matter what you are doing today, find the perfection in the process. If you love your NOW, you will start ushering in amazing new NOWS as your future becomes the present over and over again. You will no longer long for your work to be over so you can relax into your wellbeing, because you will already be relaxing into the best part…and the ONLY part we have access to…the present. For all of our Gratitude Planet community located outside of the United States who might not know it, today is Independence Day in the US. It’s a day to reflect on all the gifts we have, all the people that we appreciate, and the freedoms we enjoy in an open society. People are generally off work and are gathering with friends and family for a cookout and a local parade. It’s the perfect day to whip up some Gratitude and Thanks, and now is the perfect moment to let the horses run on a rampage of appreciation and gratitude.
Start with Thanks. Wherever you are right now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you can think of that you are thankful for. Your inner monologue may be something like “Thank you for the weather today, thank you for the air I am breathing, thank you for the clothes I am wearing, thank you for the eyes I use to see, thank you for my mind that helps me think, thank you for the …..” You get to decide what feels best to you.
Next take two minutes to be Grateful. It might go something like this: “I am grateful for my job (or job prospects), and I am grateful for my amazing living space that feels so good to be in, and I am grateful for my interactions with others, both in person and in cyberspace, and I am grateful for my coffee maker that creates a perfect morning drink for me, and I am grateful for…” Again, the words you choose are the right ones for you. Next move to Appreciation. Appreciation feels a little more connected than Gratitude, which is why you should move through Thanks, to Gratitude, and then to Appreciation.
So now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you appreciate. Don’t worry if you repeat some things that you have already said. Your inner monologue may be something like “I appreciate my spouse who loves me so much, and I appreciate my body and all its health and wisdom, and I appreciate my dog who always seems connected and free, and I appreciate Source Energy and its consistent flow of well-being into my experience, and I appreciate…”
If you do these three simple exercises, you will feel a shift in your vibration. You will move up the Vibrational Scale. Your cork will begin to float again…and you will definitely feel an expansion in the way you feel. You will be able to move into love and bliss. You will have done the inner work required to change your world for the better. You will be able to carry this vibration into your whole day. As consciousness having a human experience on planet Earth, we are by nature “doers.” We like to do things, and we like to see results from our actions. It is easy to start seeing our actions as the only way things come to us, and to put artificial pressure on ourselves to “do more” and to “be motivated.” Working harder can be fun, and seeing better and better results feels very good. But if you are seeing fewer results from your efforts than you would like to, it may be a good time to examine how you have been approaching your actions. Have you been inspired, or just motivated? If you have been a regular visitor to GratitudePlanet.com, you know that we encourage being present and expanding into not doing anything sometimes.
Not doing is a powerful way to let go and to allow. However, it doesn’t mean that you should sit in your house and wait for someone to come feed, clothe, and exercise your body for you! There is a time for not doing, and there is a time for doing. If you are in the habit of waking up to a full run and going about your day at light speed, you may be feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially if the pace has been this way for a while. If so, try this approach for a week (if you need to rise earlier to get quiet time in your household, do so): wake and list ten things you appreciate or are grateful for in your life. Hold them to you and be silent. Expand into the wonderful feeling of these gifts in your life. Sit quietly and picture yourself doing the things you love to do. See yourself sailing, or painting, or singing, or dancing, or laughing with others, or enjoying your new house, or your new relationship, or whatever…you know best and you get to choose. Don’t put limits on your own mind, and just allow yourself to experience these thoughts as if they were already a manifested experience in your reality.
As you do this exercise, you will start to receive important information from the Universe in the form of new pictures in your imagination, or in the form of a feeling of inspiration. You will come to a new awareness and clarity about what only you can do this day. You will get a clearer sense of your priorities and goals for the day, and you will be inspired to move forward into action. When you feel this, stop the meditation exercise and start the action side of your day, following the inspiration you have received.
Actions that are undertaken with uninspired motivation are harder to accomplish, less fun, and leave you feeling worse than before you did the action. Inspired action puts you into the flow of the Universe, so you enjoy the experience more, you have more ease in the process, and you have perfect timing with resources appearing effortlessly as they are needed. You will attract the things you need through Law of Attraction, and you will feel the perfection of the process more and more. Inspired action is easy and invigorating. Motivation can be draining over time. So today, notice how you are moving into your doing phase. Try this inspiration meditation for a week and journal all the things you accomplish. Being grateful and appreciative for the things in your life (as well as the things you know are coming soon) is the engine that drives your amazingly-unfolding well being and your ever-expanding prosperity. You may already have a habit of waking each day and finding reasons to be happy and grateful. You may already find it easy to see the best in any situation. You may be getting really good at using affirmations, and you may be able to add to our Gratitude Board with thoughts that come easy to you. Good for you. So today I ask you this question: “Are you grateful for YOU?” Can you easily create a list of things that you appreciate about yourself? Are you able to give yourself credit for the amazing person you are today, regardless of the expansion you are experiencing today and will experience eternally? Are you aware of the unique gifts that only you can bring to this Earth, and are you willing to own, honor, and proclaim these to the Universe?
Some people find this difficult because they don’t want to seem egotistical or self-centered. But if you don’t have a healthy ego, you may be holding thoughts that contradict the way Source feels about you. Holding back your love of self sends a conflicted signal to Law of Attraction, and you may attract people, places, and events that reinforce this lack of love. And when you feel differently about yourself than the way Source feels about you, you are going to feel bad, unworthy, disconnected, and irritated, and out of the Vortex. In fact, if you have been doing diligent work to be aligned with appreciation, and you feel like you have your Attitude of Gratitude working most of the time…yet you still notice some disconnection or have been having some less-than-wanted things appearing in your experience…it may be time to be grateful for YOU more of the time!
Try to see if you can make a list of the things that you appreciate about yourself, and see if it is easy or difficult to do this exercise. Do it everyday, mentally or on paper, for a week and you may see a positive vibrational shift in your life. Source Energy loves you, thinks you are amazing, always sees you as worthy, and has already become everything you want to be. Relax, appreciate, and be grateful for YOU. Thank you so much… Be Well,

Exercise is a necessary ingredient to a healthy lifestyle, and making your exercise fun is a key component to doing it over the long term. When exercise is fun, fitness is easy. Haven’t you noticed that the things you actually like to do are always easy to do, and the things you dread the most are almost impossible to bear? I totally understand the mindset that pre-paves both of these experiences, yet it can be difficult to break out of old habits of thought to create and sustain a new vibration around exercise and fitness. Mark Twain (1835-1910) said that “A habit cannot be tossed out the window; it must be coaxed down the stairs a step at a time.” Sometimes all we need is a little “get up and go” (combined with fun) to change our habits a little at a time. Here is what I suggest: Take a Gratitude and Connection Walk. When I walk, I make it more fun by using my imagination, thoughts, and deliberate focus to feel better. Feeling better equals fun to me, and you probably feel much the same way.
Here’s how it works. Look at something…anything…that catches your attention. It can be a house in the neighborhood you are walking through, or a car, or a bird, or a trash can…anything you observe in your immediate environment.Simply say to yourself “I see a house…and I like its (fill in the blank).” So for example, someone might say, “I see a car, and I appreciate its deep blue paint job.” If you see something and you can’t think of anything to be grateful or appreciative about concerning it, find the best thought you have access to about it. This might sound something like “I see a dented car, and I appreciate that it’s not mine!” It’s OK if you just chuckle at yourself; but you did well finding something that felt true, and something that was the best thought you could think in the moment. The next thing you see, if you stick to reaching for gratitude and appreciation, will probably provide better things to like. Look for them, find them, and say them. Before long, the vibration within you will start to raise and expand to a very connected and blissful place.
One word of caution, however. This game can be played in the opposite direction, where you put down, make fun of, or become critical of the things you see. This will expand the vibrational range downward to thoughts that feel worse and worse the more you think them. The beauty is that you get to choose the direction that your thoughts flow, and when you feel better, everything looks, tastes, feels, and smells better. Your fifteen-minute walk that used to feel like two hours will feel more like fifteen minutes, and the fun you have raising your vibration will become the immediate payoff for your exercise. Instead of thinking “I really should take a walk today” you will begin to crave your Gratitude and Connection Time instead. Go ahead and get out today, alone or with a few close friends, and enjoy being deliberate about your joy! Be.Love, Hannya-GP

If you are feeling in the vibrational range of optimism or higher, it can be fun to go on a rampage of gratitude and appreciation. What you do is start naming things you love and appreciate, and let it snowball out of control. Let it lift you even higher into Expectation, Belief, Happiness, Passion, Love, and all the way to Bliss! It is important to be feeling at least in the range of optimistic before you try this, because you need access to thoughts that feel good to begin. If you are feeling, say, frustrated you will only have access to thoughts close to frustration, such as irritation or overwhelment. You CAN feel better by moving upward from frustration, but this game is not a good one unless you are already in a connected vibration.
Here is what you do: Say “I love (fill in the blank). Then say I appreciate (fill in the blank). Then perhaps, I am grateful for (fill in the blank). If you run out of things to love, appreciate or be grateful for, go more into depth about one of the things you already mentioned in a previous statement. For example, if you said “I appreciate my car,” and then draw a blank, follow up with “I love that my car is so dependable.” The fun really starts when you get a flood of ideas to be grateful for and to appreciate. The Law of Attraction states that two vibrations that are alike are drawn together. You are a vibrational magnet that calls more of the same unto yourself. Because of this, it has been stated that you can be, do, or have anything you want. Anything is possible as long as you become a match to whatever it is that you want. Sounds good in theory, but what if I want to be an astronaut? What is the chance that a 40-something guy who teaches for a living will suddenly become a space traveler? Quite unlikely. So is the premise that you can be, do, or have anything flawed and untrue? No. It’s true, but some clarification needs to be made.
I may not be able to be an astronaut in the strictest sense, because I wouldn’t be able to start over and become a fighter pilot, or be in the right place to study and train at NASA, and I wouldn’t be chosen to go on a mission over the many other well-trained men and women ready to serve in that capacity right now. But the real thing working against this dream is the lack of vibration I have around it. Up to this point, I never wanted to be an astronaut, so I haven’t built up much energy to attract people and circumstances to me through Law of Attraction. What I have attracted is a match to what I have asked for so far, and stopping on a dime and changing my vibration to something totally different is possible, but unlikely. So the first clarification is that I CAN’T be, do, or have anything…but rather I have to want it first, and then I can be, do, or have anything I really want. If you want it, it is possible. If you can become a match to anything, it must become your reality.
OK, you say, but what if today you decided you really, really wanted to go to space? Then what? Is it possible? Yes, if I want it, it is possible. But how? First, I would start focusing only on thoughts that aligned with this goal. I would pay attention to how I feel when I think these thoughts. I would be sure to feel good about the goal, and not sabotage my vibration with doubt. Then I would look for any evidence that the Universe was providing for progress toward my goal. Perhaps I would meet people in the space industry who want to talk to me about the goal, or I would find myself watching TV shows about the topic. Every bit of evidence would be followed up by more optimistic thinking around the goal. “This is possible for me, and I am going to space,” I might say frequently. Law of Attraction would then begin to snowball circumstances and events to bring me greater and greater evidence of the goal. I might get a chance to go to a space camp or meet someone who is starting a company to send civilians into space. If I really followed this with my focus and desire, and if I didn’t contradict my own desires with out-of-the-Vortex thinking, then it would be possible for me to orbit the Earth in a spacecraft. I can do it.
Many people don’t think this is possible because they say they want things that they aren’t willing to pursue vibrationally. I can’t be an astronaut unless I have a strong desire to be one. You can’t lose weight unless you want to lose it enough to attract a “thin vibration,” which means focusing on thin and being single-minded and optimistic about thin. You can be, do, or have anything you want. So what do YOU really want? Are you willing to attract it unto you? If so, let yourself feel the essence of the vibration right now. If you want thin, reach for a feeling of thin right now. If you want prosperity, reach for a feeling of richness right now. If you want health, reach for a feeling of wellness right now. If you want love, reach for a feeling of joy right now. You attract everything to you, and your ability to focus on what you really want determines your success…always. Enjoy this most amazing day! The Law of Attraction is a consistent, fair, and always predictable law of the Universe: you attract to you the things that you give your attention to, regardless of if you want them. You have an ability to spin your perception in ways that make the best of any situation, and in doing so, you literally change the way that the Universe manifests for you. The most important part of harnessing the power of the Law of Attraction is to notice how you feel. If you feel good, you are attracting everything you are asking for vibrationally. If you feel bad, you are attracting things that you won’t like very much when they appear in your reality. But there is no need to stop thinking thoughts, or to panic and attempt to censor your mind. In fact, trying to stop a thought in its tracks is next to impossible. Instead, you are better off relaxing and redirecting your thoughts to something that feels a little better. The point is to notice how you feel, acknowledge where you are, and always move toward things that feel better. Simply turning from things that make you feel worse…just thinking about something else…is all you need to do to “stop” the thoughts that feel worse.
Not long ago I wrote about a game I play as I go through my day. It helps you keep track of how you are focusing your attention on any subject. I call it the “That Feels Good” game. In this game, you just pay attention to how your day unfolds in terms of how it feels to you. In this game there are only two phrases: “That feels bad” or “That feels good.” When you say “that feels bad” to yourself, it’s time to redirect. When you say “that feels good” to yourself, you just drink in and savor and appreciate the moment for the good feeling it brings. You might even follow a good-feeling experience deeper to see if it gets better and better.
Here are some examples to clarify this.
1. Someone who is talking to you shifts their focus to all the problems they have been experiencing. It goes on and on. You calmly say to yourself “this feels bad” and think of a way to redirect. You may give them words of comfort, or help them see a silver lining in the situation…or you may just be silent and let them talk themselves out. See if you can elicit a “that feels good” from your vibration. If you can’t then it’s time to move on to another encounter with someone else, as opposed to helping them whip up the disconnection by participating fully in it.
2. You are in a grocery story in the checkout line, and someone cuts the line. You feel some negative emotion and say to yourself “that feels bad.” You have two choices. You can continue to feel bad and maybe even confront the person, or possibly stew about it to yourself, or start talking to another customer about the “injustice,” or you can find something else to focus upon that feels better. In this case you might notice an adorable child in the cart behind you, smile at it, and start up a very pleasant conversation with the parent of the child. If so, you might feel you connection return. You would say “that feels good.” Then continue to enjoy the interaction. The line cutter is no longer part of your vibrational attraction.
3. You are out shopping and the day is going well: the lights all turn green as you roll up, you get the parking spaces you want, and the traffic is flowing well. Every time you notice one of these events going your way, just say out loud or to yourself “that feels good.” Smile and rejoice that you have perfect timing. Bask in it. Noticing that acknowledging that you feel good actually makes you feel even better.
4. You are having a good time at work, and all your activities feel rewarding. Suddenly an email comes in from someone who recently had a disagreement with you. You look quickly to determine that there is no new information in the letter, and you notice strongly “that feels bad.” In a microsecond you tap the DELETE key, and in a few seconds you begin to feel your connection return. Before long, you will be able to say, once again, “that feels good.”
This is a game, so there is no need to be serious about it. Just notice how you feel and what you say to yourself in your “inner speak.” If you don’t have strong feelings either way, just say nothing. By following your bliss throughout the day, you will enjoy the process more, you will love the day more, and you will be using the Law of Attraction to put everything you want at your finger tips. You will live your day from inside the Vortex, where all the things you want are ready to manifest. Try it and let me know if you get great results. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

When you go out to eat at a buffet, you get to choose the things you want to eat in the exact amounts that you want to eat them. And a really good buffet will have foods that you can try for the first time, as well as exotic delights that you might not try if you were ordering off the menu. I great buffet is fun, and enjoying so many diverse tastes can be a real treat. Have you ever considered that life is a thought buffet? You are born into this body, and you immediately begin interacting with many diverse vibrations. You emerge into a world of diversity where you are able to choose from a vast variety of thoughts and ideas that you can then give your attention to. Law of Attraction then helps bring you more things that have a similar essence of vibration…and you get to choose again…and it never ends. However, some people choose their thoughts with less care than they choose food at a buffet! At a buffet most people look at all the food available, decide which ones they will enjoy the most, and then they give their plate a good helping of these foods. No one looks for the foods they hate so that they can get a heaping plate full. They don’t worry that foods they dislike can get on their plate, and they know that the existence of foods they dislike do not stop them from choosing the foods that they do like. They also know that the foods they do not prefer might be a favorite choice of someone else. We acknowledge that when it comes to food, everyone likes something a little different.
Thoughts are exactly the same, and it is good practice to choose your thoughts at least as carefully as you choose your food. For example, if you think a thought that feels bad while you are thinking it, it’s like eating a food you are allergic to, even if it seems to taste alright at first. No thought can kill you, so just look for one that feels better and continue choosing from the thought buffet. Look for thoughts that feel like your favorite foods feel when you eat them: feast on thoughts that you enjoy thinking. Never worry that you need to stop people from thinking the way they choose to think, because it’s not your job to police the buffet. In fact, when you try to stop someone from thinking a thought or from believing a certain way, you are putting the essence of the unwanted thing on your plate and you are including it in your vibration. The Law of Attraction draws things to you, and it never pushes things away. So your thought buffet is a Universal buffet with everything you can imagine in it. You get to choose what you include, and it’s not your business to worry about what others might choose. Be masterful and choose the things you love, and savor them like a food critic. Continually upgrade to thoughts you like more and more. When you make a choice you don’t like…and you will often…just forget that thought and pick another one. Refuse to eat foods (think thoughts) that make you sick. Be healthy, be love, and be connected to Source. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

If you really think about it, all we ever have is right now. The past is always past, and the future is the future, and we only ever meet them in the present. Yet how many times do we allow the past or the future to keep us from fully enjoying what is happening right now? I would have to admit that I can be better at this more of the time. Eckhart Tolle’s book “The Power of Now” is a great read about this subject, and he suggests that not being present (or in the now) is a chronic problem in the minds of many people in society today. (See a link to his website under “Other Cool Sites” on the GP sidebar). He recommends that we take some time each day to think about nothing except what is happening right now, and then let your mind be free of both past and future for that time. What we discover is that this can be done through meditation, exercise, or any other activity where we focus completely on the present moment to the exclusion of the past and future. What happens is an amazing transformation where your worries evaporate, your vibration raises, and you feel better. Tolle asks his readers: “What problem do you have right now?” Any answer referencing the past or future is revealed as a false problem. He asks again, “What problem do you have right now?” As you realize that you will react in the now if a problem does arise, and that in the moment you will know what to do, then you can accept fully that, indeed, there is really no problem right now.
Once you realize that you have no real problems right now, you can relax into your wellbeing more, and allow yourself to feel better and better. Feeling better is the first step to allowing Source Energy to flow through you, and once you are connected to Source, all good things will flow easily to you. Do your best to live in the Now today. Live, breathe, move, feel, and be grateful right Now. Enter the Vortex right Now. Enjoy the power of Now, and the magic of Now. Imagine having everything you want right NOW. Feel the exhilaration of how it feels to be right where you want to be, which is always in the Now. Enjoy this most amazing day…right NOW! Chris-GP

I was at dinner with a friend the other night, and the waiter took our drink order and disappeared. My friend immediately seemed preoccupied with where he went. She wondered if he would get the order right. We kept talking and before we knew it, he was back with exactly what we had ordered. After we gave our entree order, the same events unfolded, including my friend’s worry about if he would get it all right. This time she talked about her concern for his competence, and how she expected him to screw up the order. Of course, I took this as my unique opportunity to talk about perception, expectations, and Law of Attraction.
My friend was expecting something to go wrong, and she was looking for evidence of the mistakes before they even happened. I explained that the Universe hears your expectations, and through Law of Attraction brings you a version of what you expect. She thought that it didn’t mater what she expected, and that she would rather be surprised by things going better than she expected, and not disappointed by expecting too much. I understand this logic because I used to do the same thing. Now that I understand how we attract things, people, and events to us through our vibration, I don’t play the low expectations game anymore. Now I expect things to go well for me, and events in my life tend to match (or exceed) my expectations most of the time…and I expect a lot!
Worrying about your life is like worrying about your waiter. You ask for something, and then your job is to relax and let it come to you. Sometimes you might draw a really weird or unprofessional waiter, but the Law of Attraction will NEVER act like a crazy waiter. It will bring you what you ask for through your average vibration every time, 100% accurate and consistent. You never need to worry about Law of Attraction in terms of its ability to deliver the goods. On the other hand, a good waiter will occasionally give you what he thinks you want to show you what is possible. Law of Attraction won’t do that, ever. You ask, it delivers…period.
Relax and enjoy the fact that you get consistent results from your universal wellness order. If you are asking for wellbeing, expect it to be delivered very soon. If you want prosperity, see it, talk about it, and take actions that support it. Expect it to come to you very soon. Be irrationally optimistic. Anything you want is possible. It’s Memorial Day in the United States, and I just love an extra day to just remember the things that I am grateful for. It makes me think of the song “Let There Be Peace On Earth” because of the message it contains: “Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me.” It makes sense that we should be like the thing we want, because that’s how the Law of Attraction lines you up with things. Law of Attraction draws things to you by sensing your vibration and matching it with other thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are similar. And as we have been discussing in others posts on GP, giving your attention to something is all you have to do to start vibrating like it. You are what you think, and what you interact with and focus on becomes your point of attraction…meaning that the Universe is bringing you more and more of it constantly. The phrase “and let it begin with me” is very wise advice for deliberate creators because it puts the emphasis right where it belongs: on you!
When you want to attract something to you, you need to vibrate and become one with it first. In practical terms, if you want more money and prosperity, you must first begin to feel like you have more money and prosperity. If you want an intimate relationship with a new person, you have to feel like the person is already there. If you want peace for the Earth, you must first make peace with yourself and the people in your immediate vicinity.
Try this today: make a list of several words that you think best describe what you want to see in others, or in the world. Only you know the best words for you today, but some of these might include: honest people, caring friends, peaceful world, loving family, prosperous economy, thriving health, etc.. Choose one and decide that you are going to let this greater desire begin with YOU! Become quiet, breathe calmly and deeply, and “see” yourself having achieved this greater desire. Feel how you would feel if it were already yours to have. Imagine others interacting with you and commenting on this thing you now have, and how great you look and feel having achieved it. Project this feeling outward toward everything in the Universe. Expand into the knowing that you were able to align with these desires easily, and that you can do it again…easily…on any subject you choose. Give thanks and end the visualization with the knowledge that you have literally created a point of attraction that will create magic in your day. You are now ready to line up with evidence of your alignment through perfect timing, “chance” encounters, and new and exciting developments in all areas of your life. Stick to one or two desires for two to four weeks, and just enjoy the process of already having what you want to see in the world. Say to yourself, “Let there be _____ on Earth, and let it be me, breathe me, and live through me right now.” Try it and let us know how it worked for you. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

It has been said in many circles that perception is reality. But science, and quantum physics specifically, is beginning to explain that this is literally true. In the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know” evidence is presented that explains how we interact with the quantum field. In essence, they explain that energy exists in a wave when no one observing it, and it exists in particle form when someone IS observing it. The observer literally changes the reality of the quantum field through interacting with it. If we have this ability to snap reality into place when we observe it, then why can’t we have an effect over the reality it embodies? Leading scientists are saying exactly this: we create reality with our perception of it. Over the years philosophers have hinted at this, and even Shakespeare said that “life is a stage,” equating it with the made-up reality of theater. If you can accept the role you play in the creation of reality through your perception, and if you can accept that your perception is greatly affected by the thoughts you think, then you can logically conclude that your thoughts create reality…literally. Knowing this, doesn’t it make sense that you would want to frame your perception to suit your greater desires? How would you do this? Here are a few examples:
1. Stuck in traffic: held up so I can meet up with something important later today.
2. Not in a relationship: getting ready to meet the perfect person who is almost ready to meet me.
3. Unhealthy: honing a strong desire to allow better health and thriving.
4. Stressed: focused and productive and ready to relax very soon.
5. Broke: creating amazing prosperity through strong contrast around money.
6. Uninspired: ready for a new direction
You may think that these are just euphemisms for bad-feeling thoughts. Yes, it’s true. But the feelings behind these thoughts are what really matters here. If you can learn to spin these thoughts into the best possible story you can tell, then you can learn to find the best in ALL stories you tell. Feel the relief that the new statement brings to your consciousness. Assure yourself that you are literally changing the quantum field with your improved framing of reality. Soon you will see reality bending to your interpretation of it. People will call you lucky and fortunate. You will have things begin to work out for you in amazing ways. You will become the master of your life. When people ask, you will say, “I decide what form my quantum field takes, and I am picky about the things I like to experience.” Or maybe you will just smile and say thanks for the support. Today I offer my TOP 12 reasons I can think of to be grateful and appreciative. What would your list look like, based on your day?
1. Thank You for the way I awoke refreshed this morning, feeling good and in the Vortex.
2. I am grateful for Law of Attraction that always matches me up with more of what I think, feel and do.
3. I appreciate my partner who had sweet things to say to me over a cup of coffee. Even my coffee smiled at me!
4. I love the way the sun came up to shine a clear ray at me and warm my face.
5. I am grateful for my car that starts every day and gets me to work safely.
6. I give thanks for the safe drivers on the freeways who are clear minded and connected.
7. I give thanks for my iPod (and car input jack) that is always ready to serenade me with my favorite songs.
8. I appreciate my job for the prosperity and fun it brings to my daily life.
9. I love my family for being who they are and for loving me as I am.

I enjoyed Lisa’s post yesterday about Lao Tzu and his advice to do nothing. Doing nothing is a big part of allowing everything. There are many other spiritual teachers that guide you toward the state of just “Being” as well. When you are in a peaceful and calm state of mind, a place where you are one with the thoughts of the Universe, you are truly one with everything. In fact, when you can get to this mental state, you are in an allowing place where the Law of Attraction can work magic in your life. It is a great space where everything you are asking for, both with your words and with your vibrations, can easily flow to you in a series of perfect manifestations. It is a magical state. The only question left to ask is: “why don’t I find myself in this state of mind more often than I do?” The answer is intimately connected to this question: “What are you doing that keeps you from entering this state more often?” You see, you are the only one who can keep you away from your natural state of just being. When you stop resisting the flow of energy that the Universe is sending to you, you automatically connect to your well being. So it’s not so much about trying to do anything. It’s more about letting go of the things you do that keep it all from you. For example, you may do your best to meditate everyday. But when you meditate, do you let go of the chatter of your brain and just trust in the magic of the moment? Are you afraid to let go because you might “waste” the time that you could be using to solve the problems of your day? To just BE, you must BELIEVE that all is well, and you must TRUST that you are receiving powerfully through your NOT doing.
To enter Being, you must Believe that your work is done for the moment. You must allow your fear to melt into knowing. You must free yourself from worrying about the details and affirm that Law of Attraction will manage the details for you. When you try to Be without believing, you will doubt yourself, you will be frustrated that more is not coming to you sooner, and you will feel very alone and apart from Source Energy. So today, relax and believe that all is well, because it really is! Let yourself find peace in this moment, right now. You can be excited for what may come in the next moment, but believe in this sacred space and let now be the best moment so far. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

We have had many posts on GratitudePlanet about the power of Gratitude and Appreciation, and if you have been a member of the GP Community for even a little while, you have probably experienced the magic of these vibrations working to expand and improve your life. When your “go to” vibration is an attitude of gratitude, you have found a magical way to harness the power of Law of Attraction to your greatest benefit. But why is feeling grateful and appreciative such a powerful state to live in? It is really all about how our thoughts, feelings, and actions work to attract things to us.
Some people work really hard at everything they do. They let their actions do their talking, and these people expel a great deal of energy making their world come together. Sometimes they achieve quite a bit, but often at the expense of their health and wellbeing. They might be really rich, but they might not have the vibration to enjoy those riches, or the health to express the prosperity. I know other people who do a great job trying as hard as they can to just think positive thoughts. These people can also get some great results from their positive focus, but they also tend to see their thoughts as more powerful than their own actions…they worry that if they “let down” from their positive thinking, they will fall and suffer something unpleasant. They become a prisoner to their own thinking. The most successful and happy people seem to be those who understand that while your thoughts and actions matter a great deal, your greatest power resides in honing your feelings, and finding ways to feel better throughout your day. Feeling good is the third piece of the puzzle of creating and attracting the life you have always wanted. How you feel determines you average vibration, and hence, your point of attraction that Law of Attraction is responding to. Balancing thoughts, feelings, and actions can be considered the “Art of Living Joyfully.”
Gratitude and appreciation are easy feelings to expand, but it takes just a little effort at first until you get some vibrational momentum. I like to think of these feelings as a “set point” of vibration or a kind of “default setting” that I automatically engage whenever I can. Optimism is a wonderful tool for gratitude and appreciation, and looking for the best in any situation will give you raw material for feelings of gratitude. Try this today: Before you take action in any direction, give thanks for everything you can think of, and then milk it for all it’s worth. Let your thoughts guide you toward everything that is working well for you. If your mind wanders to problems, turn to solutions, or just redirect to another appreciative thought. In a short time, you will have a desire or inspiration to do something: so take action now! In the doing of the action, return to your set point of gratitude and see the best in the action. Enjoy the little things you are doing, and look for the mystery and magic in what may seem otherwise like a mundane or simple task. See if your attitude of gratitude can inspire yet another action. If not, stop and bask again in the joy of your appreciation for what already is. Let this cycle of think, appreciate, give thanks, and act be a dance of joy that moves you to greater and greater connection in the Vortex. Watch how your life improves way more than when you just acted, or just sat and thought positive thoughts. Let Gratitude be your Attitude more often today. I am such a MAC Geek! I love to hear the gossip about the new Apple products, and I am excited about the new iPad, though I am waiting to let the hysteria die down a little before I even try to get my hands on one. You may have heard that a new version of the iPhone is coming out, possibly this June. Apparently, one of the developers of the new version of the iPhone was kicking back at a bar and left his prototype phone on the bar where it was found by someone who then, in turn, sold it to the media. The media buyer examined it, broke it open, photographed it, and put all the information up on their website. While I can’t condone what they did, it was interesting to see what the new version will probably look like and what kind of functionality it will have. I think we all like to dream about the latest and best version of our gadgets, and we like to know it’s on its way, emerging into our experience. I also think the same holds true with the latest and best version of US as well!

Did you know that this upgraded version of YOU has all the functionality and conveniences that you have been hoping for? This newer generation of YOU is designed to be the perfect advance over the present version in every way. It was created by YOU, for YOU, and is awaiting your permission to be released into your present by…you guessed it…YOU! How can this be? Let me explain.
When you live your life, you have many experiences that cause you to feel different emotions and feelings. Some emotions feel really good, and others feel not-so-good. These two kinds of emotions can be referred to connected or disconnected vibrations. When you feel any emotion you send out a vibration to the Universe, and this vibration is matched by the Law of Attraction and sent right back to you. If you feel connected on average over time, you begin to see more and more evidence or things appearing in your life that help you feel connected. People are nice to you, parking spaces appear, and traffic flows swiftly in the direction you need to go. Likewise, if you feel disconnected on average over time, you will feel the weight of the world working against you in various ways that will encourage you to feel more and more disconnected. You will have things break, people will appear snarky, and you may sit in traffic often. So it is always in your best interest to choose thoughts that help you feel connected on average, because Law of Attraction is matching your vibration, so the better it gets, the better it gets. But wait, you say, I can’t feel connected all the time. Am I messing up my life when I feel disconnected? The answer is no, disconnection will happen. It’s how you handle disconnection that makes the difference.
When you have a disconnected moment, you are acutely aware of what you DON’T want, because you are living a crappy-feeling experience of what you don’t want. Your vibration races out and is heard by Source Energy. But while Law of Attraction starts bringing you more disconnection, Source Energy gets to work creating the new version of YOU based on what you have concluded you DO want through your disconnection. This new version of you (we’ll call it 2.0 for fun) is completed and ready for you to upgrade to whenever you choose to. It is waiting for you, and it is calling you. The only problem is that you have to move away from the vibration that created it (disconnection) and into a new vibration (connection) so it can arrive to you. This means literally turning from the old version to the new version even before the new version appears. (OK, now you are really confused, right?) Here’s an example to help clarify:
You want to lose weight, and you see a picture of yourself looking HUGE and then you feel horrible (disconnection). You want more than ever to be slim, trim and healthy, and you are pissed off about your present state. Law of Attraction brings you people feeling about the same way you do: fat and out of shape. But Source Energy creates the 2.0 version of you through the disconnected experience, and you now have a slim, trim, and healthy version of yourself ready to emerge. But if you keep focused on what is, you can’t allow what you have created. If you tell the same story, feel the disconnection of the present, and get discouraged all the time, you can not let the new version of YOU become your new reality. The key is to start feeling thinner, tell thin stories, and feel better as much as you can. Look for images of health and abundance, and picture in your mind’s eye the new version 2.0 you have created in vibrational reality. It’s real. It’s ready for release. If you are doing this consistently, you will know because Law of Attraction will start sending you people that are losing weight (or who have lost weight), and who are feeling good about their physical image. You will find yourself feeling better and better around this topic. Just relax and allow the new you to arrive to you. Be happy to release old patterns, no matter how comfortable they may feel. I think it’s human nature to look into the world and hope to see great things everywhere. Hope feels good. It certainly IS great to be in beautiful settings of nature, or with friends you adore. But when you can’t find connection by observing your surroundings, it is your job to look inward and find the connection you want and deserve. The Law of Attraction is always responding to your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and you have ultimate control over these aspects of your expressions. You can imagine the beautiful scenes, and picture the people you love and appreciate. The Universe can’t tell the difference between what you think about and what you observe. So if you want to change your experience, instead of waiting for circumstances to change, simply change your focus and your thoughts, and let the change come to you. Take time to be quiet and still, and turn your thoughts to things that feel good while you think them. Be steadfast to the thoughts you enjoy thinking when you think them. Expand your imagination to include thoughts and images that transcend your present “reality” so that you can “see” yourself doing the things you want to do, driving the car you want to own, or kissing the mate you want to attract. Being connected to Source Energy is an inside job, and it’s the most important job you have; all good things will flow to you when you are connected to your Source. So if you find yourself observing someone or something that makes you disconnect from your inner being, stop, redirect, and remember that you have the ability to turn it around. In fact, you are the ONLY one who can turn it around for YOU. Your joy and connection are always available for you to access, but you just have to give your attention to things that feel good to you. See if you can do this just a little more today, and get ready to see the positive results appearing in your experience. Life in the Vortex is oh so much fun! Be Well, Chris-GP

The rules of the Law of Attraction are quite easy to understand, but are perhaps more difficult to practice deliberately. Simply stated, you attract to you the things that match your vibration. Your life, then, unfolds perfectly based on what the Universe “hears” you asking for. You never stop asking, however. You ask with every thought, with every thing you observe, and with every interaction you have with everything. We are all perpetual askers. Another way to say this is that you ask for what you want by focusing on it, and you ask for what you don’t want by focusing on it. Both (wanted and unwanted) are drawn into your experience by your attention to them. It makes sense, then, to give your full attention to the things you want so that you can manifest the wanted things into your experience.
If you have been playing with these ideas, but are a little frustrated that things are not happening more quickly for you, you may be taking score too soon. Once you have asked for something, usually by living some contrast that clarifies what you do want…you need to change your focus slightly. If you keep thinking of yourself as someone who needs the new thing, you may be keeping yourself in a pattern where the Universe brings you more of the same. Universal Forces line you up with things that match the essence of where you are…but the Law of Attraction doesn’t care if you are experiencing something, or just living it in your imagination: it matches you up with more of where you think you are vibrationally. For example, if you ask for money because you don’t have much, the Universe “hears” you and lines you up with more money. But the vibration you need to align with to manifest it fully is “I have more money” and not “hey, where’s my money!” It’s an amazing Catch 22 here…you can’t have it until you feel you already have it…but as long as you don’t have it, it’s tricky to feel like you have it.
Here is something I suggest to get you through the doubt stages of manifestation. Once you have identified something you are asking for, be it prosperity, a new relationship, a better job, or whatever, relax and affirm that your “work” is completed. Visualize the essence of this thing in your mind, and see it already coming to you in full form and completion. Feel the complete thrill of having it already. See yourself enjoying it in as many ways as you can imagine. See yourself telling others how much fun you are having with the thing in your experience. Picture it, but more importantly feel and love the essence of it right now.
Once you have done this visualization (and do it as often as you can), start looking right away for evidence of it coming to you, and be grateful and appreciative for every sign you see. If you are looking for more money, pick up that penny in the street and tell yourself “see, I am prosperous and the Universe brings me unexpected income. This is just the tip of the ice burg for me.” Resist the temptation to say something like “just a penny? Universe, I never have enough. You didn’t HEAR me, did you?” If you look for the small clues, and affirm that they are attached to bigger and bigger clues that eventually usher in the full manifestation, you will rejoice in the smaller evidence as if it were the whole experience coming into your full awareness. The clues ARE there. Your wellbeing is assured. Let go, look for evidence of it, and appreciate the magic of the Law of Attraction. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP
