Good Morning to the GP Community! This is just a short post from an idea I had when I woke up today. I know that when I plan a vacation, I like to talk to a professional travel agent. I like going to a person who knows better than I do what opportunities are out there for me. I enjoy deferring to them to tell me what I would enjoy, and what I can expect when I get to my destination. It is easier to let this person guide me to fun than it is to figure it all out for myself. Of course they try to find out what kind of vacationer I am by asking me what I like to do and running various ideas by me first. Having a “middleman” is great in this case. I don’t need to go to the destination and figure it out because I can trust the middleman to tell me what I need to know. But what about Law of Attraction? Is there a middleman that can guide me when it comes to attracting wealth, health, prosperity, and wellness? Can I go to someone who can tell me what I should do? The answer is yes, and no.
Yes, you can find out a lot of information about Law of Attraction by visiting sites like Gratitude Planet, reading books on the subject, and talking to others about it. But these resources are not your travel agent-type of middlemen who can tell you what to do. Only YOU know what is appropriate for you in every moment. Law of Attraction is alive and running in the background all the time. There is no official book that can be your middleman, telling you how to act, feel and behave to be worthy. You are already worthy. And what anyone else has done or will do is not as important to you as your own personal preferences, thoughts, feelings, and desires. Some people reject Law of Attraction for this reason. Some prefer, like I do with travel, to basically be told what they should do. They don’t want the responsibility to figure it out on their own. They like taking themselves out of the decision and going along with the plan set forth for them. But there is no middleman with Law of Attraction: You Choose! Your results and the joy in your life is based on your own vibration, and you can’t wait to be told what to think and feel. Feel every moment and choose to be the best-feeling YOU that you can be. As you are practicing being a deliberate creator of your life, it is so important to be choosy about what you give your attention to. Your focus of thinking, feeling, and acting is what creates your point of attraction…and point of attraction is like a telegram you deliver to Law of Attraction asking the Universe to match you with more of the same. This makes sense when you think of your point of attraction in terms of an average vibration. If you take any measure 100 times, you will begin to approach a reliable average for that particular measurement. For example, if you randomly measure the heights of 100 people in a large room full of 500 people, and then add the heights and divide the sum by 100, you will have a good average measurement for the height of all people in the room. Of course, your reliability gets better when you measure more and more people. One hundred gives you a good start at estimating the average, and five hundred obviously determines the exact average. Your point of attraction, then, is your exact vibrational average over time…and as I said, it is what Source Energy sends you more of through the Law of Attraction. This is why people get frustrated with deliberate creation sometimes, and this frustration makes complete sense when you dig just a little deeper.
When you compute an average, you are taking into account every measure collected so that you can have a single number to report. But within the 100 height measurements described above, there will still be some rather tall people and some rather short people. This becomes clearer when you think of the extremes in this example. If I measured only two people in a room, and there were only two people there, I could still compute the average height for the room. Let’s say one person is seven feet tall and the other is four feet tall. The equation is ((7+4)/2)=5.5. So the average height in this room with two people is 5.5 feet. But no one in the room is actually that height! An average, in this case, doesn’t describe anyone in the room specifically at all in terms of height. Yet that is what an average is…the measure that crunches all the numbers to get a single measure in the middle.
When you think, feel, and act, you are creating vibrational measures that are sent to the Universe. But the Universe has the ability to collect every one of these measures to compute your vibrational average. The Universe never just sifts through to take a sample. In other words, you are constantly sending vibrational measurements when you think, feel, and act, each day, every day, in every second of every moment. Your average vibration might be made up of some really good-feeling moments, as well as some very disconnected moments, as well as a bunch of “in between” moments. This is why what you get sometimes seems to be different than what you thought you were asking for. If you have a car accident, it’s not because you thought the words “car accident.” Rather, your vibrational average was matched by Law of Attraction to bring you the experience of “car accident.” An unpleasant manifestation will always have some very disconnected moments preceding it to bring down the vibrational average over time. Likewise, pleasant manifestations will be preceded by enough connected moments that drive up the average as well. What you think and feel (on average) is always, always, always a match to what you get, period.
Because you are asking all day, every day, it makes sense to give your focus and attention only to things that drive up your vibrational average over time. As a spirit having a human experience, there will always be some moments of contrast and disconnection…and that’s OK! Remember that a tall person and a short person equal an average-height person, so being really disconnected or really connected some of the time won’t bring you either extreme as an average vibration. It is your job (and this is your only job) to raise your vibrational average. When you do, your get more prosperity, wealth, wellness, health, joy, gratitude, bliss, and abundance. Today, make every moment an opportunity to raise your vibrational average by being grateful for what you already have. Give thanks for the people you interact with, and feel appreciation for the way the day unfolds before you. Know that this moment, and every moment, is the Earth-bound, human reflection of your vibrational average up to this point, and that you are always adding to the bottom line. Your vibrational average will always equal your point of attraction! Relax and enjoy the process. Your job is simply to make the best of it, and then to enjoy the miracle of the Universe and Law of Attraction as you get more and more of the life you want. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

There are so many ways to enjoy this life, and joy, expansion, and freedom are what we all are wanting to experience. Don’t you agree? We want things…cars, relationships, health, wellness, prosperity…because we think that in having these things we will feel better. So our goal in creating deliberately using the Law of Attraction isn’t about getting stuff, but rather it’s about feeling better. It’s a catch 22 here. You can’t postpone feeling better, or Law of Attraction will line you up with more of the stuff you feel bad about. But if you choose to feel better before you get the stuff, then why do you really want the stuff? “Getting the stuff isn’t as thrilling when I already feel good about it today,” you might say. And this is the paradox of deliberate creation: your goal is not stuff, your goal is joy. And through your joy, you can, and will, have your stuff. It’s simple to understand, but more challenging to put into daily practice. Today is the perfect time to start, if you haven’t already been doing this.
A key to deliberate creation in your life is the word “allowing.” Allowing is a practice where you let go of the struggle and relax into your well-being. It is a state where you take your hand off the hot stove. It is a mind-frame where you turn and go with the current of the vibrational stream. It is the ability to expand into joy, and to maximize your connection to Source Energy. Allowing is the opposite of resisting, and I recommend you always focus on increasing something you want, rather than stopping something unwanted. So these tips are not about stopping resistance, but rather about increasing your allowing. Enjoy these ideas for upping your allowing, and then go out and enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP
- Notice your breath. If there are any traces of inhibition of free flow, acknowledge it, and then allow these blocks to dissipate. Feel your breath flowing easily and fully in and out of your lungs. Be natural about it, and enjoy the feeling of letting it expand you in all directions. If you can, close your eyes while you do this.
- Notice you body. Do you have any places where you hold tension? Is your neck pain-free? Are your hips, joints, and muscles limber and free to move naturally? Find one place to focus upon, and then imagine love and white light bathing the area. Flow your breath freely, and affirm that you are consciously allowing energy to flow freely in the area. Picture the area relaxing and expanding. See any pain melting into freedom. Give thanks and gratitude, and then feel for another area, if one exists.
- Notice your thoughts. Do you have thoughts that hit an emotional dead end? Are there habits of thinking that don’t feel good while you think them? Do you worry about certain topics, or feel fear around certain ideas? If so, you can up your allowing by either redirecting your attention to another topic, or by making the best of the thought you are thinking while you are thinking it. Like your muscles, thoughts can cause pain. But if you notice the pain, and then imagine the thought evaporating…to be replaced with a better-feeling version…you will now have more freedom and joy in your thinking. Don’t push against the thought, or try “not to think” it. Just find a new thought, even if it feels “less real” at this point. “Reality” is merely the most practiced version of the “truth.” Let your vibrational “truth” reflect your desire to be connected, joyful, and happy.
- Notice your giving and receiving. Are you giving and receiving in a balanced way? Too much of either can cause a painful imbalance in your vibration. If you feel a need to give, tip more, volunteer your time, or donate to a good cause that you believe in. Smile more, and give more compliments to others. If you feel a need to receive more, than take opportunities to receive with a sacred and grateful intention. This can be through receiving a massage, a letter, a compliment, or through receiving something with monetary value. Give thanks, and then allow the gift to fill you with gratitude. Affirm that you are worthy and open to receiving well-being. Allow this balance of energy to keep you grounded and focused.
- Notice how much you love and appreciate. To be joyful and allowing, you must be connected to your loving source. What do you love? How do you express your love to others? Can you extend your full love inward toward yourself? Can you appreciate the world as it is, and can you find reasons to expand your love without needing to change others? When you can love everything, even when everything appears not to be loving you back, you have found the secret to loving. To get love, you have to be in love…with everything. If love is your vibrational focus, then the Law of Attraction MUST being you more of the same. Up your allowing by loving fully and completely, and then let the Universe expand you in your joy!

One of the confusing things about Law of Attraction for some people is determining how to make a firm connection between their thoughts and the manifestations attracted by those thoughts. You will remember that what you think, on average and over time, determines your point of attraction. Your point of attraction is the set point that the Universe uses to line you up with events and circumstances. Some people believe that Law of Attraction works like this, because this is their experience: “I want a car. I will think about a car. Now I will get a car. Where the heck is my car? This stuff doesn’t work!” They come to believe that if LoA was really at work behind the scenes, as they have been told it is, then everyone would have everything they want instantly. It is logical, in light of that argument, that LoA is not real, and that what you think doesn’t matter much at all. Yet there have been many, many books over the years that tout the benefits of positive thinking in all areas of living. Positive thinking and optimism have been purported to have positive correlations to expanded health, wealth, wellness, and prosperity. And many of these books and papers don’t discuss or even address a Universal force that lines up events and circumstances. There appears to be a connection to what we think and the results we get in our lives, regardless of the reasons and causes behind the phenomenon. This alone should provide inspiration for a person to examine the contents of their own mind and pay attention to the thoughts they offer on average and over time. Thinking about a car may (or may not) help you get the car. So how do you know if you are attracting the car? One very powerful way to know if the car is on the way is to pay attention to how you feel when you think about the car.
How you feel when you think a thought tells you everything you need to know about your point of attraction surrounding that thought. Here’s why this gets so confused. When you want something, you want it because you feel a lack of it in your “real” experience. In the case of the car, you probably really want the car because you really need the car. You want the car because the car you have is giving you troubles. You might want the car because you are tried of asking for rides, or tired of walking to get around. We ask for things because of a “bad” or contrasting experience that clarifies what we want to change. So if you start thinking about a new car, you will most certainly think about it, at least at first, in light of your present circumstances…a disconnected feeling about what is. Thinking about a new car, but feeling sad or disconnected about your present car (or lack of a car) creates a point of attraction equal to the present car. The Universe, through Law of Attraction, does work…but it matches you up with your present car over and over again. While you think you are asking for something else, your vibrational offering is stuck on wanting the car because you hate what you have, and thus you are attracting to you more of the same.
You can try NOT to think about your present car, but trying not to do something really just equals thinking about it. The Law of Inclusion makes it impossible to exclude a thought, because you can’t NOT think something…attempting to do so causes you to think about it. So instead, turn to thoughts that feel good while you think them. This takes some practice, but if you pay attention to how you feel when you think a thought, you will know if you are allowing the car or not allowing the new car. If you say to yourself, “my car will be so good to drive, and it will be dependable,” only YOU know how this feels. If it feels great to say these words, say them often and look for more words that feel even better. If however, these words imply “because the piece of crap car I am in right now is undependable, and I hate it,” then you are not heading in a vibrational direction that will change circumstances and events to bring the new car into your experience. Here’s the key to all of this: you don’t really need to think about a car at all! If your experience of contrast has clarified a desire for the new car, then it is available to you as soon as you get out of your own way. If you can find connection and feelings that feel like optimism, expectation, happiness, gratitude, or appreciation on random topics in your average daily experience, then you will manifest the new car in short order. Your feelings tell you everything you need to know. Start looking for reasons to feel good today, and look to all the things you are grateful for too. Be appreciative for little miracles that flood your reality every second. You will discover that it’s not difficult to prove that Law of Attraction is real after all, and your friends, family and colleagues will see you thriving. They may ask you what your secret for success is, and you only need to say “It’s no secret. I just care about how I feel. You can do this too.” Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

My first post on optimism was called “Optimism is a Choice” and can be read by clicking HERE if you haven’t already digested it. Optimism is one of the emotional range levels on the Vibrational/Emotional Scale, somewhere above the feelings of “hopefulness and contentment.” When you are in optimism you are in the vibrational flow of the Universe enough that the Law of Attraction can bring you evidence of the positive changes you have asked for in your experience. Optimism aligns you with allowing, and it is the gateway to the more powerful emotions of allowing such as Gratitude, Positive Expectation, Belief, Enthusiasm, Eagerness, Happiness, Passion, Joy, Knowledge, Empowerment, Freedom, Love, Bliss, and Appreciation. It is the “gate keeper” to the Vortex, where the Law of Attraction “assembles all cooperative relationships.” Reach for optimism, and you reach for your connection to Source Energy and your inspiration to action as communicated through your inner being. But how do you become an optimistic person? You simply practice doing it until it becomes a habit. Here are several tips to practice being optimistic today:
- Remember that few things on planet Earth are 100% sure. In any scientific study, or poll of people, you will have a split of opinions and findings, and a margin of error. For example, if a large percentage of people believe that they will get the flu this year, there are also some people that believe that they will NOT come down with the flu. This will play out in “reality” and some will and some won’t get the flu. Even if 90% of people get the flu, you can affirm at any time that you will be one of those people who will remain completely healthy. TIP SUMMARY: No one, not even a majority of people, can force me to believe anything that I do not choose to believe.
- You can always use your power of focus to direct your thoughts toward what you want at all times. Use affirming statements when you are driving, exercising, or drifting off to sleep. Some of my favorites are “I always find a parking space,” and “I have perfect timing in all things,” and “I always have enough to be happy,” and “Today is going to be a great day,” and “Things always work out for me,” and “I expect to see and draw to me happy and connected people today,” and “My dreams tonight will be fun, exciting, and inspiring.” TIP SUMMARY: You are in complete control of the thoughts you choose to think, and you can use affirmations to help you make optimism a habitual vibrational offering.
- You can help others see potential positive aspects in things. When you are listening to someone talk, you can find the best in what they are saying and reinforce it back to them. You can say “What I hear you saying is that your perfect job is on the way, and that you will be in the right place at the right time when your perfect job opens up. That’s awesome!” Even if they didn’t say it to you with those exact words, it is uplifting to decide to take their words with an optimistic slant. There are other times where you will have to insert an optimistic phrase in an otherwise pessimistic conversation. Be careful not to be annoying, but also let them know that you see it a little differently. You might say “ya, jobs are hard to find, so I understand your frustration. But I know you will get a great job soon. People thrive in all times, and I see you thriving in my mind’s eye. All is well.” You should feel a little softening in their resistance if your words are phrased carefully. TIP SUMMARY: You can practice your optimism every time you are face-to-face with others.
I love knowing that I can be one of the growing number of people that choose to see the world as opening, evolving, growing, connecting, loving, and allowing. I am elated that I get to choose if I connect or disconnect through my thinking. I am grateful that my interaction with others can be of great value to others. I so appreciate the times when I can be uplifted by the thinking and words of others. I love turning and giving my attention to things that feel good, and making the best out of the things that feel like contrast. I love striving to see my glass overflowing with wellbeing. I love living the results and manifestations that I am enjoying from thinking optimistically over time. There are many times when we feel “right” about an issue or topic, and we may feel a need to get others to agree with us about it. But haven’t you noticed that convincing another person to agree with you on something can, at times, be a difficult task. I have come to a point where I like to listen to others express their point of view, and I am honored when they are interested in hearing mine. I have come to accept that we are all different and that we will always have our own unique perception of the world, our place in it, and our goals as human beings. In fact, it is the variety and diversity that keeps the Universe expanding, and it’s what makes being here so exciting and worthwhile. Having agreement on a topic with others can feel really good too, especially when it births new ideas and creative angles to the issue at hand: thought is taken beyond that which it has been before…very cool.
But although it is wise to abandon worry about what others think about your ideas and opinions, it is in your very best interest to get Source Energy to agree with them. But Source is not a person, so how does that work, you ask? Source Energy is a never-ending stream of pure positive energy that can’t be stopped…only resisted. The part of you that exists in pure positive energy is the larger part of who you are. You are a spiritual being having a human experience. So when I refer to Source, I am really referring to YOU as you exist right now in pure positive energy. This larger part of you is communicating with you constantly through your dreams, intuitions, and inspirations. So what you really need to do is get your larger, Source energy-focused part of you to agree with your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Or do you?
Is all YOU, so this seems weird…but instead of trying to get your Source self to agree with you, you are WAY better off getting yourself to agree with Source’s opinion of you. If you have read some of the other GP posts about contrast, and how contrast helps your greater self expand and grow, you know that your Source self has already literally become everything you have wanted to be up to this point. That’s right…everything you have imagined for yourself that you can say right now that you want and have asked for has already manifested for the part of you that is Source Energy. It is the literal expanded version of YOU. That being said, you are best off trying to be in vibrational harmony with your expanded self so that you can allow it all to manifest on planet Earth through the Law of Attraction. But how do you know what Source thinks about you? How can you align with the views and opinions of Source Energy? Here are some of the things we KNOW about Source Energy:
- Source Energy loves you.
- Source Energy knows you are precious.
- Source Energy knows you are worthy.
- Source Energy sees you as the perfect expression of “youness.”
- Source Energy appreciates everything you are, everything you do, and everything you desire.
- Source Energy knows that you are in the perfect place, at the perfect time.
- Source Energy guides you to be the best you can be.
- Source Energy sees the best in others.
- Source Energy never puts you or anyone else down.
- Source Energy feeds your intuition and inspiration and urges you toward what it has already become.
- Source Energy doesn’t doubt you EVER, and uplifts your unique journey.
The list could go on for a very long time. If you don’t agree with Source, or if Source doesn’t agree with you…you will know right away because you will feel bad. But if, on the other hand, you and your Source are of one mind, you will feel joy, inspiration, love, gratitude, appreciation, and many other very connected feelings. When you live in the vibration of Source, you are, as Abraham-Hicks calls it…in the Vortex. The Vortex is the place where you and your Source are in vibrational alignment, and it is the place where all the magic of the Law of Attraction can manifest. Another way to say this is that when YOU and your larger YOU agree through your thoughts, feelings, and actions, you MUST become, right now, the best manifested version of YOU so far. (You know the YOU with great health, money, the relationship, the toys…or whatever you have allowed your Source to become through your vibrational asking.) No one may ever agree with you, but it is your number one job for YOU to agree with your Source! Let that be your goal today, to feel more and more agreement with your Source. Notice how you feel, and may you have a joyous, blissful, connected, loving and most amazing day! Chris-GP

Hello Everyone! This is my first post for Gratitude Planet. I have been subscribing for a while and decided to write something to share. (You can do this too! See the tool bar for the “Become a GP Contributing Author” for how to do it.) I hope you are all having a great start to your new year. I just want to tell a quick story to show how what you eat can change the way you feel. I have been honoring my New Year resolutions, and so far I have done pretty good. Changing habits can be like changing the direction of an ocean liner because first you have to STOP what you are doing so that you can get a new direction. If you are like me, I had some pretty intense momentum behind the habits I had. None of my resolutions were about eating differently, or losing weight (but we all have our list, right?). And I was changing what I did little by little with some small lapses, like most people who want to make a change in something. Here’s my story…
I was having a great day a few days ago and was on a gig, and then I noticed a huge spread of food and treats in the green room. Without much thought, I sampled a few things including a chocolate cupcake, some cookies, and some crunchy bar snacks. It was yummy. Later as the day went on I felt really cranky. I wasn’t inspired to do the things I said I would do to change my habits. Eating the sugar treats was fine, but I think it actually set me up for failure when it came to changing the things that I wanted to change. I didn’t think much more about it. I figured, “everyone has good days and bad days. I’m just snarky today.”
The next day I had a day off and was running all over town doing the things I had to get done. The day was much the same in many ways. I pulled in to the grocery for dinner food and an afternoon snack. First, I went to the bakery and feasted my eyes on the baked goods. (I have a real sweet tooth, can’t you tell?) But then I had an inspiration (call it guidance from Source?) to choose differently. I listened and followed my inspiration to the other side of the store, to the fruit section. There I found two things that sounded good to me in the moment: a green apple, and an 8 oz bottle of 100% carrot juice. I finished getting dinner food and got in the car to drive home. I snacked on my apple and carrot juice, which tasted really good ’cause I was really hungry. It was yummy! Again I didn’t give this too much thought in the moment.
Later that day, I had absolutely no trouble finding inspiration to follow my new year’s resolutions. I had good energy, and I was flying high on the emotional scale! (like up in the “Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness” range) I have always heard that “you are what you eat” but I never wanted to be an apple or a bottle of carrot juice! Joking aside, eating real food for energy made a big difference for me, and this is affecting my eating choices today too. Gaining weight is not a worry for me, but feeling good is. Maybe YOU can try eating a little better today. See how it makes you feel. See if feeling better makes you do the things you want to do with even more ease. Like most people, I have a few New Year’s resolutions to align with in 2010. I hinted at some of my top five resolutions in a recent post, and you were encouraged to make your own top five list that felt the best to you. I was taking my walk today and realized that I have another resolution. (We all probably have stated and hidden resolutions roaming in our consciousness.) It wasn’t a new idea for me, but the connection I made relating to wellness and Law of Attraction felt brand new in the moment. Though I was resolving to drop ten pounds of body weight by exercising more and eating less, I realized in the moment that this manifestation was completely connected to my ability to let go of the past. Somehow I knew that dropping the weight was impossible if I held onto old ideas and beliefs. I made a Vision Board recently showing images of what I want my body to look like in a month, and I have been looking at it most every day. Yet now I know, it can’t manifest unless I change my thinking by letting go of who I have been to some degree. Some teachers refer to this as ego death, and I have come to trust the process and believe in the freedom that letting go of the past can bring. Then I came to realize that old ideas weigh us down and keep us from getting easily to where we want to be. Wow! Then I knew it was time to shed some extra vibrational weight. It felt really good to know that if I take the thinking journey and let go of any extra baggage I have created in my thinking, I can much more easily allow myself as a ten-pounds-lighter person.
What are you wanting to allow into your reality? What do you have to change to make room for it in your vibration? Don’t be afraid to change the way you think, and to shed the extra weight of your outdated thinking patterns. Sometimes we look around at other people and we get the feeling that we should be experiencing our world in the same way that they are. This is the classic “keeping up with the Joneses” syndrome where you never feel like your life is as good as someone else’s life. Because Law of Attraction gives you more of what ever you focus upon, is it not to your advantage to look at anyone this way, because you can’t help but feel bad comparing the two experiences. A lot of stress and disconnection is created by people who strive to keep up with everyone else. The truth is, you can’t keep up with anyone else when it comes to creating your own reality and attracting joy into your life. What you think you see others experiencing in their own lives is simply a manifestation of what they have attracted and allowed. YOU are doing the same, and you are receiving based on your personal vibrational alignment with who you have become. When you strive to be in alignment with a vibration you have not expanded into, only frustration and disconnection can be your experience.
Not keeping up with others is a good idea. Not keeping up with yourself is a bad idea. Every time you experience contrast in your life, you know what you don’t want, and you define more clearly what you DO want. When you define what you DO want, your vibrational self takes on an expansion that equals the degree of the asking. In other words, if you get really, really sick, vibrationally you become very, very healthy. At this point you are not going to feel good at all, because there are literally TWO yous: the sick one and the healthy one. These two vibrations do not match, and your emotional guidance system will tell you that there is discord in your vibration with yourself. You will feel like crap. The only real choice you have, if you want to be a joyful and expanding human on planet Earth, is to keep up with yourself, and give your full attention to becoming a vibrational match to your healthy self. You can’t undo what you have become, by the way. You either align with it, or you feel bad. Simple. Change (for the better) or suffer where you are until you are so unhappy that you are pushed to change somehow. Why not save yourself the struggle and give your full attention to matching your own vibrational expansion?
So in summary, you can never align with someone else’s vibrational expansion, because it isn’t yours. Don’t bother keeping up with what others have created. Instead, pay close attention to who you have become, and stand ready to be like the latest and greatest version of YOU! Just by living and experiencing life you have helped create the very best edition of who you can possibly be right now. Relax, make peace with where you are, and notice how you feel. If you feel good (or better) you are aligning vibrationally with the new you. Just keep up with you. May you fully enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

Happy New Year Everyone! I was doing my yoga routine this morning and came to a new understanding of how allowing works. Remember that the Law of Attraction (LOA) works in a three step process: You Ask (automatic), Source Answers (not your work), and You Align With The New Vibration (your work, and only your work, and your only work!). I talked about this in a recent post. You can read that post by clicking HERE if you like. I added a step to the three-step process ’cause I think people need to relax more and let themselves feel good while doing this. These were my “new” steps to make Law of Attraction work for you:
1A. You Ask (automatic through living on planet Earth)
1B. Make Peace With Where You Are, Who You Are, And What You Have. (your business)
2. Source Answers (not your work)
3. You Align With The New Vibration (your work, and only your work, and your only work!)
Yet today, I had a new insight. You can do this even sitting at your computer. I was doing yoga, and I went into a pose and was holding it. Sometimes I go really deep into the pose, and sometimes I go in just enough to notice a little resistance in my muscles. When I go really deep, it can really hurt. If I go in just a bit, it is more of a dull sensation, and not really painful. Now, I decided today to just go into a stretch only enough that I noticed a little amount of resistance or sensation. As I noticed the resistance (step ONE A), I stayed there and changed my focus to my breathing and away from the resistance (step ONE B) and then affirmed that Source Energy had created a new me that had no pain in this stretch (step TWO), and then I noticed the resistance disappear! (step THREE). So in little more than 20 seconds I went from feeling resistance, relaxing and making peace with me, and allowing the new me without the resistance. Yoga actually means “union” and is a practice for going in and understanding yourself and the Universe better. It is supposed to be a path to wellbeing and expansion. Now I get it! And it’s not about stretching farther than I can. It’s about going to my edge and expanding with joy where I am. WOW!
If you have things in your life that you can’t figure out how to allow, why not practice allowing smaller things, and then work on up to the bigger things? This stretching/yoga (I’ll call it a meditation) technique gives you almost instant gratification, and works on exactly the same laws that create and allow more friends, cars, relationships, prosperity, ocean-front homes, and the like. Everyone knows that daily exercise is good for the mind and the body. We all understand that fit people are active people. Yet, it can be difficult to get yourself up and out of the house and exercising every day. There are a million excuses NOT to be active, but in reality, none of them hold up under the slightest bit of scrutiny. I had a music teacher once who told me during a percussion lesson: “if you want something done on time, give it to a busy person.” His point was that busy people manage time well, because they have no time to waste. The people who never have enough time, and who never get caught up, and who feel the real stress of time management are often (but not always) the same people who waste a lot of their own time. I have found that the more I think and rationalize about the time I have available for exercise, the less I seem to exercise. But when I go right out…no real debate with myself…I can get out and get going on my fitness regimen. So the first step to benefiting from exercise is to (and stealing a famous advertising phrase) “just do it.”
Next, it is important to remember why we benefit from exercise in the first place. We are all familiar with the oxygenation of the blood, and the lengthening and strengthening of muscle groups. But this is a website about the Law of Attraction, right? How does this all play into health and fitness? Glad you asked! We know that what you experience is a direct result of the thoughts and vibrations you offer over time. To be healthy, you have to either feel healthy, or offer no resistance toward your wellbeing. We also know that contrast creates a desire and an asking that in turn causes your expansion into greater wellbeing. In other words, you can either simply allow your well being by feeling fit and healthy, or you can create an expansion through a particular kind of contrast we will call “exercise!”
This particular kind of self-inflicted contrast (called exercise) is very beneficial and effective. Try it and see what you think. Lace up your sneakers and go for a run. If you feel tightness in your muscles, how exciting…you are creating a body that is tension-free. It now exists vibrationally, and it is yours to allow. Next, you might feel your breath begin to get faster and more shallow. Yippee! That “out of breath” feeling just created a more fit you, because you can’t help but ask for better fitness when you are out of breath. It is yours to allow and manifest! Your interaction with the contrast called exercise is indeed making you more fit…and the powerful asking you do when you feel this physical stress on your body is benefiting you greatly. Just remember to relax and allow the expansion you have created as soon as you recover from your run.
Lastly, remember that the real work of fitness comes from the feeling of fitness, and if you don’t feel fit…you can not achieve fitness. Law of Attraction brings you experiences of fitness when you feel fit, period. As I implied earlier, you can skip exercise and just feel fit, and you will be fit and healthy. But few people can pull off fitness without feeling like they earned it. There is nothing quite like a long run, bike ride, or day of skiing to help one feel worthy of the vibration of fitness. It is probably much easier to “just do it” and be active in terms of letting in a feeling of health. It’s my plan to let my exercise expand my health through physical contrast, and then to relax and appreciate everything in my life. It’s the perfect One-Two punch for me. In part 1 of “Creating and Using Vision Boards” I discussed what a Vision Board is, and how it worked for me when I wanted to expand my career. If you are visiting Gratitude Planet for the first time and haven’t read Part 1 yet, you may want to scroll down and read it before you read Part 2.
Creating a Vision Board is a powerful tool for nurturing and allowing something in your vibration. The Law of Attraction responds only to your vibration; your words and actions mean nothing unless accompanied by a corresponding vibrational frequency. A Vision Board can help you feel as if the thing you want is already manifested. You have a daily visual cue to help you accept and allow your well being! You have immediate evidence that your life is expanding, and concrete visual cues to help you relax and let in all that you have asked for.
The first Vision Board that you make need not revolve around a major change on your life. In fact, I have found it to be fun over the years to ask for something that feels achievable, yet is just far enough out of my reach that I will feel a triumph when it materializes. For example, if you have been trying to shed ten pounds for a while, but haven’t been able to allow it into your vibration, you could make a Vision Board celebrating your weight loss of ten pounds. Every image and phrase on that Vision Board should celebrate the new weight, and there should be images that feel good to you. Looking at the Vision Board should always feel good. It should represent the completion of the manifestation of the desire into your present. You should be able to suspend your disbelief as you look at the Vision Board.
Another Vision Board I had created centered around health and fitness. I wanted to look better, feel better, and move better. I went to Barnes & Noble and looked for magazines on health that caught my eye. I wanted images of healthy people, and I wanted them in full color. I perused a large number of pages looking for images that made me go “yes, that feels good.” If I saw a picture of a person who was doing something I like to do, and if the image felt good while I looked at it, I put it in a pile for purchase. I probably took home only three or four magazines on health, but they were full of great images that supported my desire to be more fit and athletic. I cut up my manila file folder and got out my scissors and glue stick, and started looking once again through the pages of the magazines. Now when I saw an image I liked, I cut it out and put it on the table. There is no right and wrong way to to this…only the way that YOU enjoy doing this. I like to cut out every image that feels good to me, and then decide which ones fit best together to create an overall effect. I might cut out ten to fifteen images, and use only four or five, depending on how big they are and how they fit together. I also look for words or phrases I like, and I cut those out and paste them in too. In twenty years I have probably made three Vision Boards on health and fitness, and I have always experienced a good segment of improved health and vitality after creating my Vision Board. You might wonder why I would need to do another VB if I did it once already and achieved improved conditions. Like anything, once you have achieved something, something else will surely get your attention, and your focus will be directed in new ways. So after a few years of feeling like fitness is completed, you might find yourself back up those ten pounds and eating in old patterns again. It’s OK. Use your VB to allow the thing you want the most right now. Don’t try to live your whole life through one VB at the same time.
If you want to try making a VB, on a blank paper list the top three things you would like to increase in your experience. You might list weight loss, more prosperity, and an intimate relationship, for example. Feel the energy behind each thing. How would you feel if you had one of these three right now? Which one gives you the purest feeling of excitement and a rush of “wow” when you think about it actually happening? If you feel they are all the same, just pick one and do your VB on that topic. It’s likely, however, that one will get your attention in a more powerful way than the others. Go for that one first.
I will continue this series on Vision Boards because it is fun to write about, and it is such a fun activity to do. It always reminds me of art classes in middle school. You get to play and enjoy your creations…and then they manifest into your experience! It’s like having a magic wand. For all of our Gratitude Planet community located outside of the United States who might not know it, today is Thanksgiving Day in the US. It’s a day to reflect on all the gifts we have, and all the people that we appreciate. People are generally off work and are gathering with friends and family for a meal, and for a reconnection with loved ones. It’s the perfect day to whip up some Gratitude and Thanks, and now is is the perfect moment to let the horses run on a rampage of appreciation and gratitude. Start with Thanks. Wherever you are right now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you can think of that you are thankful for. Your inner monologue may be something like “Thank you for the weather today, thank you for the air I am breathing, thank you for the clothes I am wearing, thank you for the eyes I use to see, thank you for my mind that helps me think, thank you for the …..” You get to decide what feels best to you. Next take two minutes to be Grateful. It might go something like this: “I am grateful for my job (or job prospects), and I am grateful for my amazing living space that feels so good to be in, and I am grateful for my interactions with others, both in person and in cyberspace, and I am grateful for my coffee maker that creates a perfect morning drink for me, and I am grateful for…” Again, the words you choose are the right ones for you. Next move to Appreciation. Appreciation feels a little more connected than Gratitude, which is why you should move through Thanks, to Gratitude, and then to Appreciation. So now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you appreciate. Don’t worry if you repeat some things that you have already said. Your inner monologue may be something like “I appreciate my spouse who loves me so much, and I appreciate my body and all its health and wisdom, and I appreciate my dog who always seems connected and free, and I appreciate Source Energy and its consistent flow of well-being into my experience, and I appreciate…”
If you do these three simple exercises, you will feel a shift in your vibration. You will feel an expansion in the way you feel. You will be able to move into love and bliss. You will have done the inner work required to change your world for the better. You will be able to carry this vibration into your whole day. Happy Thanksgiving! Chris-GP

There are times in your life when you know exactly what you want, and you can get very focused in terms of manifesting it. There are other times, however, where you can seem to be waiting for inspiration to take hold and guide you toward the next thing you want. Either way, life has gifts for you to enjoy. When you have been experiencing periods of contrast, you get a clear picture of what you want to manifest. For example, if you get really sick, then you create a very strong desire for health…and Law of Attraction answers immediately by creating a vibrational YOU who is in better health. If you have financial challenges that get chronic, then you create a very strong desire for prosperity…and Law of Attraction answers immediately by creating a vibrational YOU who is experiencing immense wealth and prosperity. You job, once this has all been done, is to become the new you with the expanded experience. It isn’t about attracting the new thing. You are literally becoming a new you, experiencing a new vibration with an expanded perspective. This is important because most people try to allow the new thing from the place where they are standing…in essence, trying to vibrate differently from the same vibrational standpoint. To move ahead into a new vibration you need to relax, allow, and be willing to be the new you. Yet, your ego perspective will do it’s best to talk you into staying in the same patterns that you have established. The ego likes to hold on to what it has for fear of losing everything. Yet, there is no end to the expansion of the Universe, and you will always be alive in some form. If you want to experience a new manifestation, play with the idea of being a new you…the idea of changing enough to be the new you with the new thing. If you do this, you will more easily imagine yourself in the new vibration, having a thrilling experience in the new place as the new you. Be willing to let go, and let the Universe fill you with a new expansion. Enjoy this amazing day! Chris-GP

Last summer I did something I haven’t done in years. I was visiting family and there was a large puzzle on the kitchen table in the process of being completed. Working on a puzzle looks so boring, and I hardly consider it as an activity worth spending time on. But I was on vacation, and I really wanted to spend time with family members, so I started working on the puzzle with them. I have to say, it is way more fun to work on a puzzle than it is to watch someone else work on a puzzle.I suppose that is a good analogy for life as well: it’s so much fun to be a thriving part of an expanding and fulfilling life than it is to watch someone else thriving and expanding. Luckily, we all get to choose how our life expands through the Law of Attraction, and if there is something we want, we need only give our full attention to it and allow it into our experience. There is another great parallel to life and a puzzle: if you do the whole puzzle in anticipation of how you will feel when you put the last piece in place, you will have a lot of hard work for a small payoff at the end. And most likely, like life, you probably won’t feel a huge thrill when the last piece is in place…it will feel like the next logical step, and you will probably be ready for another puzzle. The trick is enjoying the process of putting it together, and having lots of little thrills along the way to enjoy, knowing that the end is not the goal.
If you live your life like a beautiful puzzle, there will be some immediate advantages to you. Here are some that come to me this morning:
1. You know you are making something beautiful.
2. You have many triumphs along the way.
3. Small roadblocks release into times of great progress, as you find a section of pieces that fit together.
4. You know that there is order to it all, and you can relax into full awareness that all is well, and that everything you need is provided.
5. You have a job: to find the next piece. Your job is not to finish it all with the next piece, nor could you if you tried to.
6. With every piece added, the whole scene gets more and more beautiful.
7. Problems (pieces not found) on one day get a new perspective on another day, and you “see” things you missed the previous day.
8. Others can help you see things you were missing as well.
9. You don’t try to force pieces that look close but don’t fit, but rather you relax and know that the right piece is out there to complete your perfect image.
10. On some level you realize that it’s really just a game. It’s probably not your first or last puzzle, so there is no rush to complete it so that you can be deserving. You are exactly in the right place at the right time, right now…doing today’s puzzle.
I hope this makes sense to your broader knowing. Your life is like a beautiful, huge and amazing puzzle. Enjoy the progress you are making right now. Be Well, Marie-GP

7. I give thanks for my iPod (and car input jack) that is always ready to serenade me with my favorite songs.
8. I appreciate my job for the prosperity and fun it brings to my daily life.
9. I love my family for being who they are and for loving me as I am.
10. I am grateful for the smiles I receive from strangers I see while walking the sidewalks of my city.
11. I appreciate the internet for making my life easier to manage and easier to navigate through.
12. I am grateful for the Source Energy pulsing through every fiber of my consciousness. I am alive, free, and eternal! Thank you so much…

There is an old New England joke that goes something like this! STRANGER TO LOCAL: “Good morning sir. Do you know how to get to Bar Harbor?” (pronounced “Bar-har-bur”) LOCAL TO STRANGER: “Yup, I do…but you can’t get there from here.” (pronounced “they-ah from hee-ah”) The joke is funnier when you realize that there are some places in Maine that are close by across the water, but much farther by car. In essence, you have to drive somewhere else first to get there directly. The phrase makes perfect sense of another truth regarding the Law of Attraction: You can’t get to a new place (vibration, manifestation, etc.) from where you are…you have to become a match to the new vibration first.
Think about the things you are wanting to attract into your life: health, wellbeing, a new relationship, prosperity, a new job…whatever it may be. You can’t get there from here. The reason you don’t have it is because you are vibrating (sending out a signal to the Universe) as a person without it. You may be confused at this point because of all our posts about being present and living in the NOW. You may ask “how can I live in the now and hold a vibration different than the one I have now?” Indeed, this is a paradox. The trick is letting yourself feel the feeling of being or achieving the new thing in this moment. This is different than seeing yourself achieving or being this thing in the future. Another way to think of this is to realize that you are not attracting something new to you, but you are instead changing into a new person who has the new thing. When you say “I’ll be different when I have money,” the implication (vibration) is “I have no money.” You can’t get there from here. But you can allow yourself to feel prosperous NOW, and to feel like the new person NOW, and to take action like a prosperous person NOW, and to be in a new vibration of prosperity NOW. You will have moved from here to there, to a place where you can feel like the new person with the new and present vibration, and Law of Attraction can then bring the full manifestation into your awareness very quickly. Be willing to change, and be playful about your thoughts. Linger in feelings that feel good while you think them. Even a little shift from where you are, into a direction of where you would rather be, will harness the Law of Attraction in very powerful ways. There are times that I can’t relax because I am trying so hard to accomplish something. I get the feeling that if I just try a little harder, or focus a little more I will finally be done doing the thing I am doing. This can certainly be true when the thing is paying the bills, or painting a house, or doing the dishes. But what about when you assign that frame of mind to larger aspects of your life, like attaining enlightenment, perfecting your tennis game, or becoming wealthy and prosperous? In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be “done” and can then “arrive” in some new place or mindset. We might say “I’ll be happy when I can pay these bills’” or a similar statement. When you do this, you use Law of Attraction to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only responds to your vibration and not your words. So saying “I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens” keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place. We are eternal beings, and there is no “there” to get to. The best way to have everything you want right now is to enjoy everything you have right now. There is a perfection in our imperfection…our journey can’t be completed…because it never ends. So don’t wish for the better day to come. Instead, look for the evidence that makes THIS day your best day so far. Find as many excuses as you can to love your journey right now. Be grateful for everything you have today. No matter what you are doing today, find the perfection imbedded in the process. If you love your NOW, you will start ushering in amazing new NOWS as your future becomes the present over and over again. You will no longer long for your work to be over so you can relax into your wellbeing, because you will already be relaxing into the best part…and the ONLY part we have access to…the present. Every night when you sleep, you emerge into a space where you are very allowing. You receive rest and inspiration. You let go of patterns that you might be keeping (for better or for worse) while you are awake. It is a great time to recharge. I have a technique that I have used for years to make that subconscious time even more valuable to your waking vibration: I say a short, allowing affirmation to myself before I fall asleep each night. It’s easy to do, takes almost no time, and you will feel the effects of it as soon as the next morning. Here’s what you do:
Lie quietly in your bed and close your eyes. You should be ready to drift to sleep. Create a present-tense statement that reflects something you are going to receive while you sleep. Let it be one sentence that feels good when you say it. If it is job related, you could say: “My co-workers always enjoy my leadership, and we are a fantastic team.” If it is prosperity related, you could say: “Money and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.” If you are wanting more friends, you might say: “I’m always in the right place at the right time to meet new and interesting friends.” You get the idea.
Now, what you do is you say the statement to yourself, in your mind, while feeling the truth of the statement. Have no doubt that you are allowing this thing to be attracted to you through the Law of Attraction. The first time you say the statement, emphasize EVERY word, and feel each word as a confirmation of the thing you are allowing. See each word in your mind. For example, if you use the statement for prosperity above, it might flash through your mind like this:
MONEY AND ABUNDANCE FLOW TO ME IN EVER-INCREASING AMOUNTS
Feel the truth of this statement. It is coming to you in this moment. Then, say it again emphasizing only the first word:
MONEY and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.
Again, feel deeply the truth of this statement. It is coming to you in this moment. Then, say it again emphasizing only the second word:
Money AND abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts.
Continue in this pattern until you emphasize each word of the affirmation in order. Finally, emphasize the whole sentence again. The whole sequence would look like this:
MONEY AND ABUNDANCE FLOW TO ME IN EVER-INCREASING AMOUNTS!
MONEY and abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money AND abundance flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and ABUNDANCE flow to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance FLOW to me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance flow TO me endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!
Money and abundance flow to ME endlessly in ever-increasing amounts!

At this point, relax and enjoy the fact that your mind is focused, your work is done, and your only job is to let the power of sleep do its work while you rest and receive. Look for evidence of the affirmation throughout the whole next day. You will see it. If you like the feeling of the statement, repeat it again for several nights. There is no need to do more than one statement a night. Just do it once and believe in the truth of it. The rules of the Law of Attraction are quite easy to understand, but are perhaps more difficult to practice deliberately. Simply stated, you attract to you the things that match your vibration. Your life, then, unfolds perfectly based on what the Universe “hears” you asking for. You never stop asking, however. You ask with every thought, with every thing you observe, and with every interaction you have with everything. We are all perpetual askers. Another way to say this is that you ask for what you want by focusing on it, and you ask for what you don’t want by focusing on it. Both (wanted and unwanted) are drawn into your experience by your attention to them. It makes sense, then, to give your full attention to the things you want so that you can manifest the wanted things into your experience.
If you have been playing with these ideas, but are a little frustrated that things are not happening more quickly for you, you may be taking score too soon. Once you have asked for something, usually by living some contrast that clarifies what you do want…you need to change your focus slightly. If you keep thinking of yourself as someone who needs the new thing, you may be keeping yourself in a pattern where the Universe brings you more of the same. Universal Forces line you up with things that match the essence of where you are…but the Law of Attraction doesn’t care if you are experiencing something, or just living it in your imagination: it matches you up with more of where you think you are vibrationally. For example, if you ask for money because you don’t have much, the Universe “hears” you and lines you up with more money. But the vibration you need to align with to manifest it fully is “I have more money” and not “hey, where’s my money!” It’s an amazing Catch 22 here…you can’t have it until you feel you already have it…but as long as you don’t have it, it’s tricky to feel like you have it.
Here is something I suggest to get you through the doubt stages of manifestation. Once you have identified something you are asking for, be it prosperity, a new relationship, a better job, or whatever, relax and affirm that your “work” is completed. Visualize the essence of this thing in your mind, and see it already coming to you in full form and completion. Feel the complete thrill of having it already. See yourself enjoying it in as many ways as you can imagine. See yourself telling others how much fun you are having with the thing in your experience. Picture it, but more importantly feel and love the essence of it right now.
Once you have done this visualization (and do it as often as you can), start looking right away for evidence of it coming to you, and be grateful and appreciative for every sign you see. If you are looking for more money, pick up that penny in the street and tell yourself “see, I am prosperous and the Universe brings me unexpected income. This is just the tip of the ice burg for me.” Resist the temptation to say something like “just a penny? Universe, I never have enough. You didn’t HEAR me, did you?” If you look for the small clues, and affirm that they are attached to bigger and bigger clues that eventually usher in the full manifestation, you will rejoice in the smaller evidence as if it were the whole experience coming into your full awareness. The clues ARE there. Your wellbeing is assured. Let go, look for evidence of it, and appreciate the magic of the Law of Attraction. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

I love that old song “Let There Be Peace On Earth” because of the message it contains: “Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me.” It makes sense that we should be like the thing we want, because that’s how the Law of Attraction lines you up with things. Law of Attraction draws things to you by sensing your vibration and matching it with other thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are similar. And as we have been discussing in others posts on GP, giving your attention to something is all you have to do to start vibrating like it. You are what you think, and what you interact with and focus on becomes your point of attraction…meaning that the Universe is bringing you more and more of it constantly. The phrase “and let it begin with me” is very wise advice for deliberate creators because it puts the emphasis right where it belongs: on you!
When you want to attract something to you, you need to vibrate and become one with it first. In practical terms, if you want more money and prosperity, you must first begin to feel like you have more money and prosperity. If you want an intimate relationship with a new person, you have to feel like the person is already there. If you want peace for the Earth, you must first make peace with yourself and the people in your immediate vicinity. Try this today: make a list of several words that you think best describe what you want to see in others, or in the world. Only you know the best words for you today, but some of these might include: honest people, caring friends, peaceful world, loving family, prosperous economy, thriving health, etc.. Choose one and decide that you are going to let this greater desire begin with YOU! Become quiet, breathe calmly and deeply, and “see” yourself having achieved this greater desire. Feel how you would feel if it were already yours to have. Imagine others interacting with you and commenting on this thing you now have, and how great you look and feel having achieved it. Project this feeling outward toward everything in the Universe. Expand into the knowing that you were able to align with these desires easily, and that you can do it again…easily…on any subject you choose. Give thanks and end the visualization with the knowledge that you have literally created a point of attraction that will create magic in your day. You are now ready to line up with evidence of your alignment through perfect timing, “chance” encounters, and new and exciting developments in all areas of your life. Stick to one or two desires for two to four weeks, and just enjoy the process of already having what you want to see in the world. Say to yourself, “Let there be _____ on Earth, and let it be me, breathe me, and live through me right now.” Try it and let us know how it worked for you. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

In the old west, every cowboy knew how to catch a wild animal using his lasso. He would spot the animal running or resting, and he would throw the rope over part of it and draw it back to him. The Law of Attraction works kind of like a lasso too. Whenever you give your attention to anything, it is like casting a vibrational lasso and pulling this thing toward you. Notice I said anything. When you see something you don’t want, and you want to get it out of your experience, there is no tool for pushing it away. The only tool in your tool kit is your lasso. It is very easy to pull something to you using a good, strong rope. But have you ever tried moving something heavy by pushing it with a rope? It is impossible to do! Yet, sometimes we try…unsuccessfully…to push things out of our experience by sheer effort. Once you realize that there is only attraction, and that you attract by including things in your perception, then you will be able to picture yourself with your lasso, pulling all things toward you. You will no longer be quite as willing to pull things you don’t want toward you. You will realize that all day, every day, you are casting your rope into the vibrational world…you never stop doing this. So today, be aware of how you use your vibrational lasso, and look only for the things you want closer to you vibrationally. The rest will take care of themselves, and you will be an even more powerful deliberate creator. Be.Love today! Hannya-GP

When you go out to eat at a buffet, you get to choose the things you want to eat in the exact amounts that you want to eat them. And a really good buffet will have foods that you can try for the first time, as well as exotic delights that you might not try if you were ordering off the menu. I great buffet is fun, and enjoying so many diverse tastes can be a real treat. Have you ever considered that life is a thought buffet? You are born into this body, and you immediately begin interacting with many diverse vibrations. You emerge into a world of diversity where you are able to choose from a vast variety of thoughts and ideas that you can then give your attention to. Law of Attraction then helps bring you more things that have a similar essence of vibration…and you get to choose again…and it never ends. However, some people choose their thoughts with less care than they choose food at a buffet! At a buffet most people look at all the food available, decide which ones they will enjoy the most, and then they give their plate a good helping of these foods. No one looks for the foods they hate so that they can get a heaping plate full. They don’t worry that foods they dislike can get on their plate, and they know that the existence of foods they dislike do not stop them from choosing the foods that they do like. They also know that the foods they do not prefer might be a favorite choice of someone else. We acknowledge that when it comes to food, everyone likes something a little different.
Thoughts are exactly the same, and it is good practice to choose your thoughts at least as carefully as you choose your food. For example, if you think a thought that feels bad while you are thinking it, it’s like eating a food you are allergic to, even if it seems to taste alright at first. No thought can kill you, so just look for one that feels better and continue choosing from the thought buffet. Look for thoughts that feel like your favorite foods feel when you eat them: feast on thoughts that you enjoy thinking. Never worry that you need to stop people from thinking the way they choose to think, because it’s not your job to police the buffet. In fact, when you try to stop someone from thinking a thought or from believing a certain way, you are putting the essence of the unwanted thing on your plate and you are including it in your vibration. The Law of Attraction draws things to you, and it never pushes things away. So your thought buffet is a Universal buffet with everything you can imagine in it. You get to choose what you include, and it’s not your business to worry about what others might choose. Be masterful and choose the things you love, and savor them like a food critic. Continually upgrade to thoughts you like more and more. When you make a choice you don’t like…and you will often…just forget that thought and pick another one. Refuse to eat foods (think thoughts) that make you sick. Be healthy, be love, and be connected to Source. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

The Law of Attraction is a consistent, fair, and always predictable law of the Universe: you attract to you the things that you give your attention to, regardless of if you want them. Our last post addressed the idea that you have an ability to spin your perception in ways that make the best of any situation, and in doing so, you literally change the way that the Universe manifests for you. The most important part of harnessing the power of the Law of Attraction is to notice how you feel. If you feel good, you are attracting everything you are asking for vibrationally. If you feel bad, you are attracting things that you won’t like very much when they appear in your reality. But there is no need to stop thinking thoughts, or to panic and attempt to censor your mind. In fact, trying to stop a thought in its tracks is next to impossible. Instead, you are better off relaxing and redirecting your thoughts to something that feels a little better. The point is to notice how you feel, acknowledge where you are, and always move toward things that feel better. By simply turning from things that make you feel worse…by just thinking about something else…is all you need to do to “stop” the thoughts that feel worse.
Today we want to recommend a simple and easy way to help you keep track of how you are focusing your attention on any subject. We call it the “That Feels Good” game. In this game, you just pay attention to how your day unfolds in terms of how it feels to you. In this game there are only two phrases: “That feels bad” or “That feels good.” When you say “that feels bad” to yourself, it’s time to redirect. When you say “that feels good” to yourself, you just drink in and savor and appreciate the moment for the good feeling it brings. You might even follow a good-feeling experience deeper to see if it gets better and better. Here are some examples to clarify this.
1. Someone who is talking to you shifts their focus to all the problems they have been experiencing. It goes on and on. You calmly say to yourself “this feels bad” and think of a way to redirect. You may give them words of comfort, or help them see a silver lining in the situation…or you may just be silent and let them talk themselves out. See if you can elicit a “that feels good” from your vibration. If you can’t then it’s time to move on to another encounter with someone else, as opposed to helping them whip up the disconnection by participating fully in it.
2. You are in a grocery story in the checkout line, and someone cuts the line. You feel some negative emotion and say to yourself “that feels bad.” You have two choices. You can continue to feel bad and maybe even confront the person, or possibly stew about it to yourself, or start talking to another customer about the “injustice,” or you can find something else to focus upon that feels better. In this case you might notice an adorable child in the cart behind you, smile at it, and start up a very pleasant conversation with the parent of the child. If so, you might feel you connection return. You would say “that feels good.” Then continue to enjoy the interaction. The line cutter is no longer part of your vibrational attraction.
3. You are out shopping and the day is going well: the lights all turn green as you roll up, you get the parking spaces you want, and the traffic is flowing well. Every time you notice one of these events going your way, just say out loud or to yourself “that feels good.” Smile and rejoice that you have perfect timing. Bask in it. Noticing that acknowledging that you feel good actually makes you feel even better.
This is a game, so there is no need to be serious about it. Just notice how you feel and tell yourself. If you don’t have a strong feeling either way, say nothing. By following your bliss throughout the day, you will enjoy it more, you will love the day more, and you will be using the Law of Attraction to put everything you want at your finger tips. It has been said in many circles that perception is reality. But science, and quantum physics specifically, is beginning to explain that this is literally true. In the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know” evidence is presented that explains how we interact with the quantum field. In essence, they explain that energy exists in a wave when no one observing it, and it exists in particle form when someone IS observing it. The observer literally changes the reality of the quantum field through interacting with it. If we have this ability to snap reality into place when we observe it, then why can’t we have an effect over the reality it embodies? Leading scientists are saying exactly this: we create reality with our perception of it. Over the years philosophers have hinted at this, and even Shakespeare said that “life is a stage,” equating it with the made-up reality of theater. If you can accept the role you play in the creation of reality through your perception, and if you can accept that your perception is greatly affected by the thoughts you think, then you can logically conclude that your thoughts create reality…literally. Knowing this, doesn’t it make sense that you would want to frame your perception to suit your greater desires? How would you do this? Here are a few examples:
1. Stuck in traffic: held up so I can meet up with something important later today.
2. Not in a relationship: getting ready to meet the perfect person who is almost ready to meet me.
3. Unhealthy: honing a strong desire to allow better health and thriving.
4. Stressed: focused and productive and ready to relax very soon.
5. Broke: creating amazing prosperity through strong contrast around money.
6. Uninspired: ready for a new direction
You may think that these are just euphemisms for bad-feeling thoughts. Yes, it’s true. But the feelings behind these thoughts are what really matters here. If you can learn to spin these thoughts into the best possible story you can tell, then you can learn to find the best in ALL stories you tell. Feel the relief that the new statement brings to your consciousness. Assure yourself that you are literally changing the quantum field with your improved framing of reality. Soon you will see reality bending to your interpretation of it. People will call you lucky and fortunate. You will have things begin to work out for you in amazing ways. You will become the master of your life. When people ask, you will say, “I decide what form my quantum field takes, and I am picky about the things I like to experience.” Or maybe you will just smile and say thanks for the support. Either way, taking control of your life will feel wonderful, and you will be in the driver’s seat of your life’s journey, ready to take a joyride. Enjoy this beautiful day! Hannya-GP
