“Thank You” Law Of Attraction!

Coming back from vacation last week, I had numerous opportunities to practice allowing, Law of Attraction, and the importance of the vibrational/emotional scale. This story begins in the Denver airport where I was scheduled to connect from Kansas City, MO to Long Beach, CA. I got to the gate and heard an announcement for an over-sold flight; they were giving $400 toward future travel that was fully transferable and good for one year. I had nothing in particular to do when I arrived home that evening, so I decided to accept the offer and give up my seat on the 1:00 p.m. flight. They re-booked me on the 9:00 p.m. flight, and I was off to have lunch, relax, and enjoy my $400 in travel vouchers in my mind. Perfect timing, I thought.

When the time came to board the 9 p.m. flight, there was a delay…and another delay. People around me began to grumble, but I just made the best of it and listened to some music on my iPod. Finally, they announced that the flight had been canceled and that they would re-book everyone on a flight in the morning. Most people were visibly angry, and a few people lost their temper with the gate agent. I took this as an opportunity to practice feeling better, as I could also feel the initial pain of the disappointment. I stayed quiet, sat to the side, and thought about all the things that were going right in that moment: I had a flight in the morning, nothing to be late for, a hotel that they promised to give me, meal vouchers to use, and a chance to make the best of it. I reached for the best thoughts I could find. In a little time I felt optimistic about how this would all pan out.

The line for re-booking was not moving very fast, but I relaxed and practiced more gratitude in my thinking. Soon, an agent announced that the Service Desk at gate 84 was open to help us. About half of the passengers made a bee-line for gate 84, and I decided to go with them. On the way, I talked with a nice woman who was not feeling great. I said, “this is a great opportunity to get a first-class seat!” She looked puzzled. I said, “the agents will have angry people in their face all night, and I intend to appreciate them, smile, and let them know that I am open to whatever they can do to help me.” Of course, you have to be high on the vibrational scale to pull this off, and I could tell that I was at least optimistic, and moving up to expectation fast. Now it felt like a fun and frisky adventure.

At gate 84 the line was very long, and the grumbling from people continued. In about 15 minutes another desk opened about 80 feet away. They called out to the line, but somehow, I appeared to be the only person to hear the announcement. I turned and walked to the desk and then realized that I was the first person in a line of one. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. I smiled and explained how I gave up my seat for this canceled flight, and the agent said “I remember you from this morning.” She smiled. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. I said how much I appreciated her, and that I knew how hard it was to re-book so many people. She told me that the first confirmed seat would be on the 6 p.m. flight the next day, but that she could put me in first class. I smiled and said “that would be just great.” Then I asked, “is there another earlier flight?” She typed and said that I could standby on the 12:00 noon flight. Then she said, I can put you at the top of the standby list if you want. I said “That would be great…thanks.” “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. She then said that she could put me in the Renaissance Hotel, a very nice hotel. I said “That would be great…thanks.” “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought.

The next day I found my way to the gate 89 at 11:00 a.m. to see if I could get on the flight. On the way I was practicing feeling good while hoping to see a Starbucks and get a cup of coffee. I didn’t see one on my way, but when I got to the gate, I DID see one. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought. Well…I almost got on the flight, but the last two passengers made it there at the very last second. “That’s fine,” I thought. I’ll make the best of this day. I got more work done and enjoyed the afternoon. When I finally got into my first-class seat, I was feeling good, probably around the happiness/passion level on the emotional scale. The outcome was a fabulous flight with food, drink, and lots of smiles and laughs with the flight attendants and other passengers. I just love first class. “Thank you Law of Attraction” I thought.

This story represents one plot line that could have turned out very differently. From the moment I felt the disappointment of the canceled flight, I could have spiraled downward on the vibrational scale. I could have had 21 hours of disconnection and hell…but I didn’t. Instead, I had a great time enjoying a bunch of free stuff with fun and happy people. Everybody has this ability to choose the thoughts they entertain. YOU have the ability to enjoy “reality” or hate it. The next time you have an opportunity like I had, make the best of it, reach for the best thoughts you have access to, and look for the magic of the Law of Attraction. Life is supposed to be fun. Turn The Corner On Feeling Better!

Law of Attraction is a fair and consistent law, and it works even when you aren’t aware of it. All you do is think and feel and act, and think and feel and act, and then observe the results you get in your life. The Law of Attraction tunes into your vibration, which is the sum total vibrational average of your thoughts, feelings, and actions over time. What your life is right now is a perfect reflection of your vibrational offering in the recent past. People wonder why they can experience something unpleasant even when they feel good in the moment, and this is because it is your average vibrational offering that creates your point of attraction, and this point of attraction is what Law of Attraction matches and magnifies in your experience.

So if you feel snarky most of the time, and you talk about things in terms of your disappointment with the present, it makes sense that Law of Attraction will line you up with more critical, cutting, snide, cranky, and irritable experiences for you to “enjoy,” even when you feel happy for a few moments at a time. The key to all of this is to turn the emotional corner and find a way to feel better more of the time.

Feeling better is the key, but changing your behavior is the goal. If your life is not thrilling you enough, you have to change the input that creates your point of attraction, and then Law of Attraction will also work for you in more pleasing ways. Here are a few tips for turning the emotional corner, and all of these ideas can make you think, act, and feel differently.

  1. Exercise more. Take a walk, run in the woods, or get on a stationary bike. While you exercise, tell yourself: “I am opening to my greater health, and my body is very wise. I give myself love and health, and I receive love and health from the Universe.” Feel every cell in your body respond to your affirmations. You are turning the emotional corner.
  2. Eat Better. No matter what you have been eating, change your diet a little. The phrase “you are what you eat” is a good rule of thumb, so if you want to feel differently, try eating differently. Do a juice fast, or a true fast. But a cook book and make some new meals that you haven’t made before. notice that the food makes you feel differently. You are turning the emotional corner.
  3. Talk Less. That’s right. Talk less. If your point of attraction has you lining up with things you don’t like, you are probably in a habit of talking about things in a disconnected way. Talk less, and listen more. Even observe the way you talk to yourself in your own mind. Be kind to yourself, and love yourself more. Let whatever cognitive dissonance your have going melt into awareness of your perfect relationship to love and allowing. You are turning the emotional corner.
  4. Practice Optimism. While you are talking less and observing your thoughts more, turn your thoughts into better-feeling, more positive statements. Make it a game, and enjoy the process. Fr example, if you are doing something and you are beating yourself up, do it a little less. If you say “I really suck at this,” notice, laugh to yourself, and think again. Say “do over” and tell yourself “now I may suck at this, but I am getting better and better with every try. Soon I will suck less at this.” minor change…big vibrational shift. You are turning the emotional corner.
  5. Stop “should-ing” on yourself. Do you do things just because you “should?” Doing this can evolve into acting by default, and living out patterns of actions and thoughts that mess up your pint of attraction. Do everything because you choose to, and not because you feel you should do it. I would wager that at least 20% of the actions people choose are by default because they feel they are supposed to do it that way. Get your “should” together. You are turning the emotional corner.

See if doing all of this makes a difference to the way you feel. If it does, you are turning the emotional corner. When you think, feel and act differently then your life must change. I look forward to hearing about your successes. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP

Listen To The Voices In Your Head!

I was walking the other day and started noticing the voices in my head. Before you think I am crazy (which my friends would say I might be) remember that we all talk to ourselves in our mind. There seems to be a constant chatter going on commenting on everything that is happening all the time. Sometimes when I meditate I can get it to calm down but it is mostly always there. You probably have noticed the same thing.

So on my walk I started observing what the chatter in my mind was. I think because of the rhythm I was walking to, I was mostly singing songs to myself. The songs were songs I know or have known from my past. I had to ask the question, “what vibration am I reinforcing with these songs?” I know Law of Attraction always hears what you say and vibrate. The words to the song I had in my head when I started noticing all of this went like this: shot to the heart and you’re to blame…you give love a bad name!” I like this song, and I love Bon Jovi. But I had to decide if it was a good use of my walk and inner talk time to be repeating these words to myself. So for fun, I sang the song but changed the words a bit: love with your heart it keeps you sane…I give love a good name!” Just singing the new words to myself made me laugh and smile, and I swear I could feel my vibration raise. I felt better. So notice today what you say to yourself and see if it raises your vibration. If it doesn’t then change the words, the song, of the theme of your inner voices. It works for me and perhaps you will feel a positive difference in your vibration too. I hope so.

If you don’t tend to sing songs, just notice what you say to yourself in your mind. Are you kind to yourself, or do you put yourself down? Are you optimistic, or do you expect things to go wrong for you? You are in charge of the words you think. You have the control to make a positive change at any time you choose to. Law of Attraction will always respond and magnify your average vibration, and the words you think and the way you feel is what creates this vibration. Thanks for reading. Tune In To Your Favorite Reality Show!

When it comes to watching TV, everyone has their favorite stations to dial up. Some people prefer reality shows, and others like movies; some prefer documentaries, while others thrive on news shows. It’s a great thing that everyone gets to choose what kinds of shows they invest their time and attention into. In the same way that our friends reflect our character as people, I think our TV tastes lend insight into our vibrational states as well. The kinds of programs you are attracted to are generally a match to the thoughts you have been thinking, and the feeling of the show most likely reinforces your present state. You are what you watch.

This is exactly how Law of Attraction works in your everyday reality. There are many things that you could give your time and attention to, and you have an ability to choose how you focus. Everything you see, observe, imagine, and participate in becomes your present and continued reality. Law of Attraction takes note of your preferences based on what you give your attention to, and then it supplies you with more of the same. It’s as if your life is a TV station that has an unlimited supply of the same reality show, and you get to view it over and over again. If you really, really like your show, you will be in a connected state, and you will be in the Vortex. You will have a feeling of exuberance and joy as you live your day. If you life feels disconnected most of the time, and you would say things could be going a lot better, it may be time to switch the channel to something that feels better. But how do you do this?

Changing your channel is not as hard as it sounds. Once you decide to give your attention to a new channel, Law of Attraction will start finding you some alternate programming to enjoy. However, don’t expect the next show to be a lot different than the present show. There will be a time lag between your new request and the new shows, so you have to turn your focus and stick with it until you attract something that feels a little better. Let me illustrate this another way…

Let’s say you are looking for a job. Everywhere you go you get no interview, or you don’t get the job after the interview. Your reality show, then, is “I don’t have a job.” The cycle goes like this: you think the thought “I don’t have a job,” and then tell someone “I don’t have a job,” and then feel bad while you think “I don’t have a job,” and then you apply for a job while you think “I don’t have a job,” and on and on. Law of Attraction sends you more and more episodes of “I don’t have a job.” You feel bad and you are out of the Vortex altogether. Life seems to stuck in an endless cycle of reruns that feel bad. As soon as you realize that the show you have tuned into sucks, it’s time to change the channel. Hear your self think “I don’t have a job,” and then reach for a thought that feels a little better. You might think “I  have a job,” but that thought won’t feel good…it will feel worse because you know it isn’t true. So think “I have a chance of getting a job soon.” If that feels better than “I don’t have a job,” say it again to yourself. Think it for a short time, and you will be able to think an even better-feeling thought. You might think “I will be in the right place and the right time to get a great job.” If this feels better still, then you are doing the right thing to change your channel.

In a few days or maybe weeks, you will completely change the channel you have been experiencing in your reality show called life. Things will turn, you will have new opportunities, and before long you will have that new and exciting job. Law of Attraction will respond to whatever you give your attention to, so you have the ultimate control and power to be, do, or have anything you want. So today, observe what reality show you are living, and decide if you like it enough to watch endless reruns. If you like it, savor it and be grateful for it. If you don’t prefer it, start reaching for a better channel by thinking thoughts that feel better. The remote is in your hand, and you get to choose…always. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP

Optimism Is Your Greatest Tool For Law Of Attraction!

Optimism is one of he best tools for working effectively with the Law of Attraction. When you are optimistic, you are open to seeing things the way you want to see them. Remember that Law of Attraction responds to your average vibration over time, so it is key to hold a vibration that matches what you want to attract into your life. This means that you shouldn’t contradict your own desires if possible. But as humans, we tend to let our vibration swing between different emotions all the time. Sometimes you are hopeful, and then you might feel contented, and then bored, and then optimistic…your vibrational offering is really a moving target. If you can bring your thoughts, feelings, and action into a more focused offering, then you can attract more consistent results and enjoy every moment of your life more and more. Reginald B. Mansell said it well when he noted that “A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities; an optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties.”

I woke up this morning thinking about the song “The Greatest” by Kenny Rogers. If you haven’t heard this song, you can hear it HERE. This song goes to the heart of how optimism and Law of Attraction work together. The boy in the song absolutely feels that he is the greatest ball player ever to walk the planet, and his vibrational offering is pure. And when the world gives him evidence to the contrary, he holds fast to his belief and makes the best of it. When you do this in your life, you summon the energy that creates Universes, and you open to manifesting the reality of your belief and desire. You don’t quit on your desire when most others would quit. You stay with the vibration long enough to see it become your reality. Read the words to yourself and feel the power and joy of the optimism in this song:

I know that some people think optimists are fools who sift through bad things and delude themselves. In fact, Don Marquis said that “An optimist is a man who has never had much experience.” But remember that Law of Attraction just reinforces what you ask for, so everyone is “right” in the debate. If you think the world sucks, the world will suck for you most of the time. If you think the world is beautiful, you will attract beauty to you much of the time. This may be why Sir Winston Churchill was quoted as saying “For myself I am an optimist – it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

Today, look for the best in things as much as possible. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Be optimistic about the wellness and prosperity you are attracting. Talk about it like it’s here right now, and enjoy the feeling of having it today. You will increase your joy, and you will uplift others as well. Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

Whether You Believe You Can Do A Thing Or Not, You Are Right!

“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.” ~Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947)

The great American car maker Henry Ford was father of the modern assembly line. He is credited with the above quote, and these words give us insight into the prosperity thinking of this great entrepreneur. Through his attitude, business savvy, and his creativity, he became one of the most wealthy and well-known men in the world. I am not sure if he consciously thought about the Law of Attraction, but his words in this quote suggest that he may have. When you believe something strongly, powerful forces join your belief, and the forces of the Universe align to attract the reality of the belief to your daily life. It is the belief that comes first, and then the physical manifestation follows. Life, then, can be said to be a self-fulfilling prophecy created by your focus and attention.

So what do you want to focus on today? What have you been asking for? You don’t need to attract everything you have ever asked for, and trying to do so would probably feel overwhelming. Instead, sit quietly and decide on one or two things that you would like to increase in your experience today. Do you want more people to treat you well? Then see this in your mind, and decide that you will attract kind people even more today than yesterday. Do you want more time? Then decide that you have all the time you need to do all the things you need to do. See this in your mind, and imagine yourself having such perfect timing that you get back all kinds of time. Do you want expanded prosperity? Then decide that you will attract more resources to you today. Believe that the Universe is working on your behalf to align you with these things, and let the Law of Attraction do the magical part: attracting everything you need to you.

If you decide that people should be nice to you today, you will look for the evidence of it all day. An interaction that wouldn’t normally get you attention will make you pause and appreciate how well you were treated. You will begin to re-frame your reality to conform to your beliefs and expectations, and you will expand the “reality” of the condition. It works on two levels: your optimism, and the work of Source Energy. You optimism comes from deciding what you expect to see, and then holding fast to the excitement of knowing it is coming. The actual physical manifestation comes to you as Source lines up people, circumstances, and events to make your desires manifest into form. Henry Ford said, in essence, that no mater what you expect to see, you will see it. You are always right. Then why not decide to see what you want to see? Why not attract the things you want? Let yourself enjoy this process even more today, and be grateful for the magic of life, and the ease with which you can harness the Law of Attraction. You are always right, so today take a step toward believing that everything you desire is speedily on its way. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP

Focus On What You Want, Not What You Expect!

I was at dinner with a friend the other night, and the waiter took our drink order and disappeared. My friend immediately seemed preoccupied with where he went. She wondered if he would get the order right. We kept talking and before we knew it, he was back with exactly what we had ordered. After we gave our entree order, the same events unfolded, including my friend’s worry about if he would get it all right. This time she talked about her concern for his competence, and how she expected him to screw up the order. Of course, I took this as my unique opportunity to talk about perception, expectations, and Law of Attraction.

My friend was expecting something to go wrong, and she was looking for evidence of the mistakes before they even happened. I explained that the Universe hears your expectations, and through Law of Attraction brings you a version of what you expect. She thought that it didn’t mater what she expected, and that she would rather be surprised by things going better than she expected, and not disappointed by expecting too much. I understand this logic because I used to do the same thing. Now that I understand how we attract things, people, and events to us through our vibration, I don’t play the low expectations game anymore. Now I expect things to go well for me, and events in my life tend to match (or exceed) my expectations most of the time…and I expect a lot!

Worrying about your life is like worrying about your waiter. You ask for something, and then your job is to relax and let it come to you. Sometimes you might draw a really weird or unprofessional waiter, but the Law of Attraction will NEVER act like a crazy waiter. It will bring you what you ask for through your average vibration every time, 100% accurate and consistent. You never need to worry about Law of Attraction in terms of its ability to deliver the goods. On the other hand, a good waiter will occasionally give you what he thinks you want to show you what is possible. Law of Attraction won’t do that, ever.  You ask, it delivers…period.

Relax and enjoy the fact that you get consistent results from your universal wellness order. If you are asking for wellbeing, expect it to be delivered very soon. If you want prosperity, see it, talk about it, and take actions that support it. Expect it to come to you very soon. Be irrationally optimistic. Anything you want is possible. Why Gratitude Changes Your Attitude!

We have had many posts on GratitudePlanet about the power of Gratitude and Appreciation, and if you have been a member of the GP Community for even a little while, you have probably experienced the magic of these vibrations working to expand and improve your life. When your “go to” vibration is an attitude of gratitude, you have found a magical way to harness the power of Law of Attraction to your greatest benefit.  But why is feeling grateful and appreciative such a powerful state to live in? It is really all about how our thoughts, feelings, and actions work to attract things to us.

Some people work really hard at everything they do. They let their actions do their talking, and these people expel a great deal of energy making their world come together. Sometimes they achieve quite a bit, but often at the expense of their health and wellbeing. They might be really rich, but they might not have the vibration to enjoy those riches, or the health to express the prosperity. I know other people who do a great job trying as hard as they can to just think positive thoughts. These people can also get some great results from their positive focus, but they also tend to see their thoughts as more powerful than their own actions…they worry that if they “let down” from their positive thinking, they will fall and suffer something unpleasant. They become a prisoner to their own thinking. The most successful and happy people seem to be those who understand that while your thoughts and actions matter a great deal, your greatest power resides in honing your feelings, and finding ways to feel better throughout your day. Feeling good is the third piece of the puzzle of creating and attracting the life you have always wanted. How you feel determines you average vibration, and hence, your point of attraction that Law of Attraction is responding to. Balancing thoughts, feelings, and actions can be considered the “Art of Living Joyfully.”

Gratitude and appreciation are easy feelings to expand, but it takes just a little effort at first until you get some vibrational momentum. I like to think of these feelings as a “set point” of vibration or a kind of “default setting” that I automatically engage whenever I can. Optimism is a wonderful tool for gratitude and appreciation, and looking for the best in any situation will give you raw material for feelings of gratitude. Try this today: Before you take action in any direction, give thanks for everything you can think of, and then milk it for all it’s worth. Let your thoughts guide you toward everything that is working well for you. If your mind wanders to problems, turn to solutions, or just redirect to another appreciative thought. In a short time, you will have a desire or inspiration to do something: so take action now! In the doing of the action, return to your set point of gratitude and see the best in the action. Enjoy the little things you are doing, and look for the mystery and magic in what may seem otherwise like a mundane or simple task. See if your attitude of gratitude can inspire yet another action. If not, stop and bask again in the joy of your appreciation for what already is. Let this cycle of think, appreciate, give thanks, and act be a dance of joy that moves you to greater and greater connection in the Vortex. Watch how your life improves way more than when you just acted, or just sat and thought positive thoughts. Let Gratitude be your Attitude more often today. You will experience the most positive transformation imaginable, and then you will have even more to love and appreciate. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP

There Is A Gift In Every Moment!

I just want to share a few thoughts about all the gifts we have in our lives right now. Today you will have conversations to share, encounters with others, problems to solve, and things to observe. As you move through your day, look to see if you can find the “silver lining” in each moment. The silver lining is the gift that is hidden (or not so hidden) in each event that happens to you, happens near you, or happens because of you. Some people might believe that there is no greater meaning in any of these events, yet science is showing more and more that there is an inter-connectivity in the Universe that we are only just beginning to study and understand. I truly believe that you can feel this connected nature of reality in your life right now…in this moment. You just have to be curious, attentive, and care about how you feel. Remember that the Law of Attraction responds to the average practiced vibration that you have going on, and that feeling better is your most important task. Looking for gifts helps you stay on track by helping you notice how you feel, and then by prompting you to make the best of any given experience.

So what do I mean when I say to look for the gifts inherent in everything that happens to you, happens near you, or happens because of you? What I literally mean is that you can take a moment to reflect upon your present moment, and in the process find a positive reason that you drew the experience to you through Law of Attraction. For example, if someone on the street stops and gives you a compliment for some random thing, make a statement about the gift you received. Maybe you could say or think “people find me open and approachable. I just received the gift of this person’s positive frame of reference. Thank you!” Or maybe you observe children playing, and you see them laughing and cooperating through a game on the playground. This too is a gift, but what is the gift? You intuition will splash inspiration to you if you pause and open to it. You may be inspired to say or think “children live in tremendous connection and they live in their wellbeing most of the time. My gift here is to remember that I was a child, that I am a child of Source Energy, and that I have the same access to love, bliss, and connection as those children do. I open and receive these gifts right now.”  Feel your vibration raise a little bit, and bask in the reality of feeling better on account of this tremendous gift you have received. Perhaps you are taking the trash out one morning, and you see some litter that has blown near your home, or into your neighbor’s property. You decide to pick up the trash on your way to the curb and you are faced with a choice. Do you think about the gift, or do you go in another direction? You know what I want you to do! You have an opportunity to receive in ever moment. So what does picking up trash have to do with receiving a gift? Then you get the message. You say or think “I am a person who lives in a clean and tidy environment. I want more than ever to have pristine vistas that I get to enjoy. I love that I get to help this be so, and I expect the Universe to expand this vibration more and more for me. I see the world as clean and healthy. Thank you for this gift that helped me clarify this desire even more powerfully.”

Life is a gift that keeps on giving. Are you ready to receive these gifts? They will keep coming regardless of your ability to perceive them, so why not get into the receiving mode? Why not become more open to the magic in the Universe? Why not hone your ability to direct your thoughts and focus so that you can harness the Law of Attraction to your greatest advantage? Why wait to be happy, connected, and expanded? Let every day of your life be like a cosmic birthday party thrown in your honor. You deserve it. Be.Love, Hannya-GP

Optimism Is A Powerful Tool For Attracting Wellness!

I consider myself to be an optimist. Being an optimist means seeing the best in every situation, sometimes in spite of the evidence against such optimism. And being an optimist gives you the best chance of attracting everything you want into your life. Are you an optimist? Is your glass half full, or half empty? You probably know which you are, and because you are reading this page, you are either a “glass half full” type, or are hoping to find out how to be one. I don’t settle for half full, and instead I strive to be a 3/4-full glass person when I can be. You can do it too.

Practicing being grateful for a glass half full is a necessary first step to allowing everything you want to flow to you through Law of Attraction. However, what happens when your glass is clearly less than half full? Is that the time to stop trying, be negative, and complain that your glass is almost empty? The answer, of course, is no. When your glass is less than half full, it’s time to start talking (or thinking) about how much you like the glass. Turn to the best aspects you can see in your immediate environment. Appreciate the container that holds the rest of the liquid, and for that matter, appreciate the liquid regardless of how much you see in the glass. When your glass is almost empty, make the best of it. Law of Attraction can’t tell the difference between your thoughts (and vibrations) and any hard and fast “reality.” Law of Attraction brings you what you focus upon, even if it is not “real.” A glass less than half full has many qualities worth giving your full and grateful attention, if you’ll just be easy and play the appreciation game.

Play up what feels good, ignore the things that feel bad, and tell your story the way you want it to be. That way, the glass is not even a significant part of your vibration. You will soon stop depending on the glass, and instead you focus on your own wellness, prosperity, and allowing. Law of Attraction will then bring you many over-flowing glasses. Create More Time To Accomplish Your Projects!

How often do you say “There just isn’t enough time in the day to do this?” If you are like me, you are always measuring progress against available time on whatever project has your attention. Sometimes it seems that the only solution is to work harder and faster, trying to make things happen before the last grain of sand falls through the hour glass. But haven’t you noticed that the harder and faster you work, the less efficient you can be, and the more mistakes you can make? Isn’t it odd that the more you try to make things happen, the more things tend to fall apart, get delayed, or get off track? And yet, with only so many hours in the day, how can you possibly let up and stop running to the finish line? There IS a better way.

Although the length of the day is set by a finite number of hours, minutes, and seconds, the perception of the passing of time is quite relative. You have certainly been in an enjoyable activity where time passed by very quickly, as well as situations that felt as if time had stopped or at least slowed down significantly. But how can we use perception of time to our advantage so that we can slow time down when we need it, and speed it up when we are bored? Here are some useful tips that I can share on this issue.

  • Start saying to yourself and others “I always have enough time to do the things I need to do.” Say and think these words as often as you can, over and over again. Let the mantra be a connected feeling of fact. Notice that the more you say and believe this, the more time seems to stretch out and allow for the “reality” of more time.
  • Get calm and centered before taking action on anything. This can take a few moments, or you can meditate for longer if you wish. Either way, approach your tasks from a calm and centered state of mind, rather than a frantic “final hour” feeling. You will be way more productive while feeling that you aren’t rushing.
  • Let Law of Attraction align you with help. While the Law of Attraction can’t appear and lick stamps or fold clothes for you, it is more than able to align people, events, and circumstances to help you in all ways. As you think more optimistically, and as you expect things to go well for you more of the time, things will get better for you more of the time. You will have street lights timed perfectly as you sail through traffic, and you will have helpful people asking if they may assist you. You will get parking on the first try, and you will have the resources you need to be efficient. It will take less time to do more, with less effort.
  • Focus on one task at a time. Instead of wasting time refocusing your attention between tasks, let one task be your in-the-moment focus. Enjoy the aspects of the task, and let the task unfold perfectly before you. When you are done with the task, get quiet and decide what the next task is before heading into it without your connection to Source. Get in the Vortex, and then take your next action step in inspiration.
  • Say “I can do anything, but I can’t do everything.” When you let go of having to do everything, you can do better work on the things you have left on your plate. Learn to say “no” when taking on new responsibilities. Be appropriately committed without being grossly over-committed.

It has been said of the Great Tao that it “Does nothing, but leaves nothing undone.“  You can make it you intention to do the same in any day. Don’t worry about what you have to do through your action, and then take inspired action in the moment when it arises. I have had great success using this technique. I just affirm that everything will get done right on time, and then I watch my day unfold magically. Some tasks are completed without me even doing anything, and other jobs become completed with almost no effort, and in very little time. It IS possible to change your relationship to time, and to have all the time you need. Change your focus and thinking, and you will change your perception of time. What Goes Around Comes Back To YOU!

We have all heard the saying “what goes around comes around” haven’t we? But let me pose this question to you, whenever you hear someone say this or when have heard these words fall from your own lips, what are the thoughts normally occuring in your mind? Do you say these words in response to someone treating you harshly or unfairly? Are you saying these words in response to someone who has done something that angers you? Someone who has hurt you?
If you are nodding your head in agreement to these questions then you are not fully understanding this phrase! If you are secretly thinking hateful or vengeful thoughts about someone while saying out loud or to yourself that what goes around comes around, you have not yet arrived at a full understanding of KARMA. When you have negative thoughts towards another you are not hurting that person…you are hurting YOURSELF! You cannot harm another individual with your thoughts, only yourself. Whatever you are thinking and feeling you are also creating. If these thoughts are unkind and unloving, you are bringing unkindness and unlovingness into your own life. Do yourself a favor and think and feel kind, loving thoughts towards others, especially those who have harmed you. You will be pleasantly surprised at what comes back to you.

How You Talk About It Is How You Will Live It Later!

I like chatting with my close friends and laughing about some of the ridiculous situations I find myself in on occasion. I think most everyone has some funny stories to tell about being in a real-life sitcom called “reality.” Life certainly has the ability to thrill us, get our attention, and make us mad, sometimes all at the same time! But when I choose to relive an event by telling someone about it, I am choosy about how I tell it, and I really pay attention to how I feel when I tell it. I know that the Law of Attraction can’t tell the difference between the event I experienced, and the experience of retelling the account of the experience. In other words, when I tell someone about what happened, vibrationally it’s like it is happening again. In the act of retelling the experience, I charge up Law of Attraction to bring me more of the same. So, for example, if someone brings me flowers and sings a song to me, and I tell ten people about it throughout the day on different occasions, Law of Attraction thinks that I had eleven wonderful experiences of people bringing me flowers and singing to me. Chances are that I will attract other experiences that feel the same as that one, even if it looks different on the surface (remember that it’s all about vibration and how things feel). By telling my story ten times I got myself in the Vortex, and I whipped up the yummy vibration of the experience so that it could summon more experiences like it. And that’s how it works in a nutshell: the stories you tell determine what you will be living in the future.

Of course, this works no matter how your story feels. Law of Attraction gives you more of what you focus on, even if it feels bad. So let’s say that you have a fender-bender on your way to work. You are angry that it happened, and to make matters worse, you were late for an important meeting. It is important to communicate to your coworkers what happened, and to explain why you were late. You may also choose to cry on the shoulder of a friend at some point in the day, which is necessary sometimes. But now you have to decide if you are going to tell this story ten more times. If you are willing to relive it ten more times with anyone who will pause to listen to you, then you are creating eleven fender-benders for Law of Attraction to grab onto. You are asking for more of the same, even though you don’t think you are. If you choose this path, get ready for the essence of “fender-bender” to reappear in your experience soon. I have heard people say that “bad things come in threes,” and I wonder if retelling the story has something to do with it?

Nothing comes in threes. Everything comes in relation to the vibrational signal you offer. Your stories about reality replay that reality until you create a new reality. Notice the stories you tell today and decide if you like the story enough to live it again in reality. If you liked the flowers, tell that story if someone will listen, and tell it to yourself if no one will listen. Law of Attraction, by the way, can read your vibration through your thinking, so you don’t even need to talk. It’s simple: talk about your life the way you want it to be, and it will unfold in line with your words and feelings. Be human, and be angry when you feel angry. Just don’t tell your angry story ten more times. Decide to tell “optimistic” stories instead. Get it? I know you do. Focus on your gratitude and appreciation for the things you already have if you need a new story to tell. It works for me! Be Well, Marie-GP

You Can’t Change The World, But You Can Change Your World!

When you first start understanding how the Law of Attraction works, you might start worrying about the thoughts you think. You might, for the first time, notice that you give a lot of attention to things that don’t feel very good, or you might come to the realization that you spend a lot of time watching sad movies, murder shows, or reading books about people who are struggling. Because thoughts create reality, your attention to anything invites the vibrational essence of what you are giving your attention to into your experience. So sometimes people start trying to censor their thoughts so that they don’t invite in real experiences that feel like sadness, murder, or struggle. The idea is a good one (to notice and shift your attention to other things) but you can’t stop a thought by trying not to think it. When you try to not think it, you include it into your vibration by your attempt to exclude it. There is no exclusion when it comes to your attention; rather you can just as easily choose to give your attention to other things. Another way to explain this is to imagine yourself watching a movie on your TV that depicts something that you would rather not experience in your real life. You could keep watching and try to say “this won’t happen to me, this won’t happen to me” or you can simply change the channel, shifting your focus, and give your full attention to something you want to allow into your experience. Trying to exclude anything invites it in. This is also true with people and political issues. If you try to stop someone from doing something, you include them into your experience and you actually give vibrational energy to the thing you are trying to stop. Trying to defeat your rival political party gives energy to their cause, but working to improve the stance of your own party strengthens your cause and your party by giving that energy to the vision of what you want to improve. The wars on drugs, terror, poverty, etc. help perpetuate these realities by focusing energy and attention of the problem instead of the solutions. You life is the same way.

You might ask, “but don’t we need to help make the world a better place by focusing on the problems of poverty, war, terror, and the like?” The answer is that you always get to choose what you give your attention to, and whatever you give your attention to becomes and equals your Point of Attraction. The Law of Attraction responds to the vibration of your Point of Attraction and lines you up with more experiences in your reality that match it. In other words, you can’t change the world, but you can change your world. The only reason that anything exists, including the world’s problems, is because one or many people have included those vibrations into their personal experiences through their thoughts, feelings, and actions. You can tune into those vibrations, or you can choose other vibrations…it’s all up to you. If your world shifts to include love, allowing, freedom, joy, fun, support, giving, prosperity, wellness, charity, gratitude, appreciation, and optimism, then you have truly made a difference in your world. You can’t think, feel, or act for anyone else, so you have a responsibility to pay attention to your world as it is created by you. If you decide to become a part of some problem, just know that you are expending the problem to include you and your world. But if you are connected to Source Energy, and if you are in The Vortex, you will be solution-oriented and you will be able to help your causes from a place of allowing instead of resisting. Just don’t try to stop anything, but instead focus on things that feel better. Unplug from experiences and observations that you don’t want to increase in your world. Take action from your place of connection and while feeling the power of Source, and your action will expand your love joy, and may even inspire other people as well. Changing your world to a better place DOES change the world. It improves the part that you are in charge of, and it makes the whole better too…one piece at a time. Make The Most Of Your Experience!

I have become pretty good at making the best of every experience I encounter. Some people call me an optimist, while some say I ignore reality. Either way, I don’t care because I love my life, and I refuse to let other people tell me what is real. When I walk down the street, I usually see beautiful flowers, nice people, and the perfection of every moment. Others may take the same walk and see garbage, rusty cars, and feel the disappointment of the world caving in on them. I choose to be connected to Source Energy, and I love being in the Vortex, where Law of Attraction brings me everything I have asked for and need right now. I love knowing that I get to choose what I give my attention to, and I love seeing the results of my focus. I choose to make the most of my experience by giving my undivided attention to things that make me feel good, while acting on my inspiration to get “real” things done. I don’t sit in my house waiting for someone to do things for me, nor do I believe that the Law of Attraction will take action for me. It just doesn’t work that way. Law of Attraction lines up people and events in your life that match your average thoughts, feelings, and actions over time. If you want something done, just see it already done in your mind’s eye, imagine yourself doing it effortlessly, and then…when the time comes to act..do it! If you are in the Vortex, you will complete the task easily and with fun and joy.

Making the most of your experience is your real job in this reality. We are here to hone our preferences, and we decide what we want by living experiences that we don’t want. That’s right! When you live an experience that you don’t want, you create a vibrational solution that is instantly available to you. But you can’t allow the new solution while you are living the crappy experience that caused it to be created in the first place. That’s why some people continue to live in the world of contrast when they could simply decide to make the best of it and allow in the new, much better-feeling experience. Crap happens, but not continuously and forever. Decide to make the best of every experience, and let yourself turn from contrast to feeling better and more connected whenever you can. I do it all day…except in brief moments of creating a new and better experience through contrast. You can too. Here are a few tips to do this easier:

  • When you feel contrast, just try to make the best of it. Say things like “It could have been worse,” or “there is a time for everything, including this experience. It will get better soon.”
  • If you are very disconnected…angry, frustrated, or fearful…just reach for the best thought you can find, even if it doesn’t feel good. Let feeling better be your goal. Keep reaching!
  • When you observe something that makes you feel bad, turn away as soon as you can and give your attention to something that feels better. This might mean not watching TV, reading the paper, or listening to the news very often.

You are in control of every aspect of your life. There is no force that can line you up with things that don’t match your vibration. You get to choose. Make the best choices you can, and reap the benefits of loving your life more and more and more. Be.Love, Hannya-GP

Allow The Universe To Bring You Perfect Timing!

Everything we experience in this life on Earth is framed by time. It takes time to read this post, time to brush your teeth, time to prepare a meal, and time to complete a college degree. It’s all about time. Yet, we also know that time is more illusion than it is real…your perception of time changes the way you experience it. You have certainly been involved in something pleasurable where time passes in an instant, where hours seem like minutes. Likewise, you have also experienced events that drag on, where minutes seem like hours! We also know that we always live in the eternal NOW, and we know that past and future never exist at all…but rather now always becomes past as the future becomes now. Your real power always resides in your NOW. So why worry about time at all?

I would re-frame the question to be “why worry EVER?” But because we are discussing time this morning, let’s look at how you move through your day, and what tips we can suggest to make it more joyful, fun, and connecting. Everything in the Universe is existing in a perfect order. Source Energy manages everything with perfect precision, and planets spin perfectly, the sun rises and falls in perfect order, and the cycle of life continues well after we leave this realm. Flowers bloom and die, and the seasons take hold in perfect precision through the years. Perfect timing is what the Universe is based upon, and we are an integral part of this perfect unfolding, as long as we allow ourselves to be. When you focus on joy and the things that thrill you, the Law of Attraction lines up events and experiences for you that match your focus. A ripple of desire and vibration pulse out from you, and the waves rebound back toward you all day long. If you let yourself relax and be guided by your feelings and intuitions, you will notice the waves as they return to you. instead of rushing around and “trying to make it happen,” you will be able to get all your work done in a magical and serendipitous chain of events that unfold naturally. You will master the art of “perfect timing” in all things, and you will feel an ease and satisfaction in the process too.

Today, affirm that you are open to hearing your inner voice as it inspires you to act, or not to act, on everything. Affirm that you are always in the right place at the right time, and then flow with this knowing. If you get stuck in traffic, say to yourself: “I am always in perfect timing. All is well right now.” Then look for evidence of your alignment with time. Be optimistic about your intersection with events and people. If you were delayed in traffic, notice the magical interactions you have later in the day that would not have happened of you had arrived ten minutes earlier. Notice the little events that would have escaped you. Remember that you are part of a perfectly unfolding reality, and that it is natural and easy to be in the flow. Relax and allow your alignment. Look for well being. Enjoy the perfection of your place in the Universe. All is so very well indeed. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP

Life Is Supposed To Be Good!

We all have troubles and challenges in our lives, and it is the contrast that assists us in creating new desires. Something that doesn’t go well for you automatically creates an improved condition vibrationally, and the new condition can then appear in your “real” life as soon as you allow it in. Life is really supposed to be more about allowing and less about contrast, but sometimes we simply get caught up in the “nitty-gritty details” of creating. Stopping contrast and challenge in our life is not possible or recommended, and one of the best ways to work with it is just to accept challenges when they come, and then to focus on the new perspective or solution that emerges through the experience. Another way to say this is to “go with the flow” and then use the power of optimism to make the best of it. By approaching life this way, you allow the Law of Attraction to assist you powerfully because you will spend a majority of your focus and energy looking at what you want, and not recreating and enhancing the contrasting conditions. Yet, some people seem to spend a majority of their time in the contrast…but this is not necessary. The beauty is that we are all completely free to choose how we direct our focus, and no one can be forced to experience something that they do not invite in vibrationally. What you live and experience is always a perfect match to the vibrational signal you have been offering over time. What you have right now is the perfect unfolding of your average thoughts, feelings, and actions over the recent past. How’s it going for you today?

Regardless of how happy you are with your results right now, know that the Universe is NOT balanced in terms of well being and “not well being.” In fact, it only includes well being. Instead of good and bad, there is only well being, and the resistance of well being, which is interpreted as it’s opposite. But the momentum of the Universe will always will, if you let it. Another way to say this this is that if you give up the struggle and just become still in this moment, well being will flow to you. There is no force that can take you over when you pause for a second. There is no stream of bad stuff that can carry you away when you aren’t paying attention. The Universe is set up to be stacked in your favor, and in the favor of bliss, joy, love, gratitude, appreciation, and connection to Source Energy. Life is supposed to be good, and you have a 100% chance of loving this life if you are willing to let the stream of well being carry you. Are you willing? The Universe Hears Your Every Desire!

If you think that you have to ask the Universe to align you with everything you want, you are right. Unless you ask, nothing will change for you. Luckily, you are asking the Universe all day and every day for a better and better life. Every time you desire something it is because you notice that you don’t have it. By noticing you don’t have it, you tell the Universe “Hey, I want this!” Sometimes, we think we need to ask over and over again, so that we are really heard by Source Energy and the Universe. We think that if we ask enough times, we will get what we want through sheer stubbornness. But that is not how it works.

The Universe hears everything you say, everything you feel, and it reads your vibration. If you want something, it knows. It knows you better than even your friends and family know you. It knows what you want down to the very detail of your inner desires. Better still, it has created what you want and has all of it waiting for you to allow into physical form. When you align with what you have asked for, it will be tailor-made just for you, with all your personal specification in place. What this means is that you will, at some point, experience an amazing unfolding in your physical experience that will simply blow your mind! It will thrill you and make you say “Wow…that is amazing!” Many people comment at this point, “be careful what you ask for…” And this is true. What you want is on the way, as long as you are willing to be a vibrational match to it. Once you accept the manifestation by aligning with the vibration, the Law of Attraction will bring it swiftly to you to experience in your present moment. All is well, and all is on the way. Don’t ever worry that the Universe can’t hear you. I hears and knows your every desire, and it is always working to bring it all to you to love and enjoy. Thanks for reading. As Your Thoughts Change, So Will Your Life!

In his bookChange Your Thoughts – Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao,” Dr. Wayne Dyer discusses the ancient writings of Chinese philosopher Lao-tzu. Lao-tzu wrote a text containing 81 verses called the Tao Te Ching or the “Great Way,” and he wrote it 2,500 years ago! I have read and re-read Dr. Dyer’s book recently, and I find it very fascinating! I know for a fact that Wayne Dyer knows about, uses, and is a proponent of the Law of Attraction, and that he is a very connected and aware person. Although he doesn’t mention Law of Attraction at all in the book, he hints at it all the way through, and offers some very practical advice for living a peaceful, bliss-centered life. If this sounds interesting to you, you can follow the link (above) and buy a copy for yourself. This book is my inspiration today for a few thoughts that I will share with you all now.
The life you are experiencing right now is the natural and perfect outpouring of the thoughts you have been including in your experience over time. I say including because you have to factor in the “passive thinking” we do when we observe others, watch TV, read books, or allow thoughts to creep in from our daily experiences and interactions. Some people think that the words they choose to think matter most, but this is not the case. For example, say the following phrase to yourself or outloud:
  • “I am a healthy, thriving, loving, and connected being!”

How do you feel when you say this? Does it feel “real” to you? Perhaps it feels real when you doubt the words, as if it were a question:

  • “I am a healthy, thriving, loving, and connected being?”
Or maybe you feel more authentic when you give it a sarcastic tone, saying the words and not really meaning them at all. Clearly, you can see that the words don’t matter as much as the vibrational tone associated with the words as you think them. In fact, the feeling behind the words continues long after you have thought the specific words. Some also believe they create their experience through a few minutes of focused thinking that they do during the day…while disregarding the rest of their thinking and feeling for the rest of the day. But your point of attraction is always based on the quality of your average vibration…which is determined by how you feel about the thoughts you are thinking. Saying “positive” words and feeling unhappy will not help you attract positive experiences through the Law of Attraction. But feeling positive, or optimistic, or grateful, or appreciative will make a noticeable difference in your daily results.
So when I suggest that you change your thoughts to change your life, I am really suggesting that you change your average vibrational offering. I am encouraging you to feel a little different than you usually do. I know this can seem confusing, but if you pay attention to the way your thoughts feel, and then choose new words that feel a little better, you will start changing your vibrational average, and hence your point of attraction. If you like everything about your present life situation, then just keep on doing what you are doing. Your experience will always, always, always be the perfect evidence of your vibrational average. If things are fine, stay the course. If you have some things you would prefer to change, start by noticing how you feel, and then reach for the best-feeling thoughts you can find on every topic you encounter. When your thoughts and feelings change, your results will change…it is law. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP

Law of Attraction: Your Feelings Tell You Everything You Need To Know!

One of the confusing things about Law of Attraction for some people is determining how to make a firm connection between their thoughts and the manifestations attracted by those thoughts. You will remember that what you think, on average and over time, determines your point of attraction. Your point of attraction is the set point that the Universe uses to line you up with events and circumstances. Some people believe that Law of Attraction works like this, because this is their experience: “I want a car. I will think about a car. Now I will get a car. Where the heck is my car? This stuff doesn’t work!” They come to believe that if LoA was really at work behind the scenes, as they have been told it is, then everyone would have everything they want instantly. It is logical, in light of that argument, that LoA is not real, and that what you think doesn’t matter much at all. Yet there have been many, many books over the years that tout the benefits of positive thinking in all areas of living. Positive thinking and optimism have been purported to have positive correlations to expanded health, wealth, wellness, and prosperity. And many of these books and papers don’t discuss or even address a Universal force that lines up events and circumstances. There appears to be a connection to what we think and the results we get in our lives, regardless of the reasons and causes behind the phenomenon. This alone should provide inspiration for a person to examine the contents of their own mind and pay attention to the thoughts they offer on average and over time. Thinking about a car may (or may not) help you get the car. So how do you know if you are attracting the car? One very powerful way to know if the car is on the way is to pay attention to how you feel when you think about the car.

How you feel when you think a thought tells you everything you need to know about your point of attraction surrounding that thought. Here’s why this gets so confused. When you want something, you want it because you feel a lack of it in your “real” experience. In the case of the car, you probably really want the car because you really need the car. You want the car because the car you have is giving you troubles. You might want the car because you are tried of asking for rides, or tired of walking to get around. We ask for things because of a “bad” or contrasting experience that clarifies what we want to change. So if you start thinking about a new car, you will most certainly think about it, at least at first, in light of your present circumstances…a disconnected feeling about what is. Thinking about a new car, but feeling sad or disconnected about your present car (or lack of a car) creates a point of attraction equal to the present car. The Universe, through Law of Attraction, does work…but it matches you up with your present car over and over again. While you think you are asking for something else, your vibrational offering is stuck on wanting the car because you hate what you have, and thus you are attracting to you more of the same.

You can try NOT to think about your present car, but trying not to do something really just equals thinking about it. The Law of Inclusion makes it impossible to exclude a thought, because you can’t NOT think something…attempting to do so causes you to think about it. So instead, turn to thoughts that feel good while you think them. This takes some practice, but if you pay attention to how you feel when you think a thought, you will know if you are allowing the car or not allowing the new car. If you say to yourself, “my car will be so good to drive, and it will be dependable,” only YOU know how this feels. If it feels great to say these words, say them often and look for more words that feel even better. If however, these words imply “because the piece of crap car I am in right now is undependable, and I hate it,” then you are not heading in a vibrational direction that will change circumstances and events to bring the new car into your experience. Here’s the key to all of this: you don’t really need to think about a car at all! If your experience of contrast has clarified a desire for the new car, then it is available to you as soon as you get out of your own way. If you can find connection and feelings that feel like optimism, expectation, happiness, gratitude, or appreciation on random topics in your average daily experience, then you will manifest the new car in short order. Your feelings tell you everything you need to know. Start looking for reasons to feel good today, and look to all the things you are grateful for too. Be appreciative for little miracles that flood your reality every second. You will discover that it’s not difficult to prove that Law of Attraction is real after all, and your friends, family and colleagues will see you thriving. They may ask you what your secret for success is, and you only need to say “It’s no secret. I just care about how I feel. You can do this too.” Enjoy this most amazing day! Chris-GP

Optimisim Is A Choice!

I would like to start a series of posts about using optimism to your advantage. Optimism is a key tool in harnessing the full power of the Law of Attraction, and it is nothing more than being picky about the thoughts you choose to think. Each person has a vibrational range, and this range is determined by the average feeling or vibrational content of the thoughts you have been thinking. If you haven’t read the GP post on Using the Emotional Scale, you may want to read it first by clicking HERE. You only have access to thoughts that are close to your vibrational range, so trying to feel optimism when you are feeling doubt is next to impossible to do. But I like optimism as a default “go to” vibration for several reasons. Even if you are in the vibrational range of doubt, your job is to find the best thought that you have vibrational access to. Instead of having to remember what emotional label is above doubt (in this case it is disappointment) I reach for “an optimistic thought” in my range, which might move me into a little higher vibration. I find this easier to do (at least for me) than trying to feel disappointment. I reach for “optimistic doubt” and I land in something that feels better than doubt. From there, I do the same thing again and find some thoughts that could be called “optimistic disappointment,” even if I don’t use that label.

I believe that optimism is especially powerful because it includes a reference to both sides of the issue: the glass is half full, or it is half empty. It helps you choose to focus on the side of the issue that tells a better story. It looks objectively at something and makes the most out of it. It is a launching pad for climbing the emotional scale on any issue. It recognizes the choices you have with two distinct paths, one that leads you closer to where you want to be, and one that leads you away from your desired emotional destination. It is the opposite of delusional; it is grounded and realistic while still being a reach on the vibrational scale. (Incidentally, you can make a good case for the concept of being delusional too, forgetting about “reality” completely and giving thought only to your goal. Many successful people call this “being focused.”)

Do you consider yourself to be an optimist? I know some people that pride themselves on being a self-described “devil’s advocate” and finding the fault in any idea, plan, or brainstorm. They feel that they play an important role in the conversation by bringing everyone down to a realistic level. But they actually do themselves a disservice by lowering their own emotional set point of vibration, which inevitably keeps them feeling worse and worse. The “important role” of pessimist keeps them from manifesting their desires and askings, and their Source will never take a pessimistic view of anything…so they live out of alignment with their own inner being.

Notice today what your thoughts and words feel like. Are they optimistic or pessimistic? Do your thoughts and words lead you to feelings that feel better or feelings that worse?  Just notice. If you find that you inject part your day with pessimism, acknowledge that optimism is a choice, just as pessimism is also a choice. Each can be practiced just as easily as the other. In every moment you can choose to see the best, or the worst. You can reach for the best thought you can find, or you can reach for the worst thought you can find. It’s all up to you, and by paying attention you will be empowered to choose more consciously today.
