<div>Thanks so much for your question. One way you can help  her is to  encourage her to talk about the developing skills in a way  that feels  better to her. For example, if she says &#8220;I&#8217;m not a good  setter&#8221; and you  know she is telling herself this either out loud or to  herself, you  can redirect her and say &#8220;you are getting better every  moment at  setting.&#8221; Once she gives herself the benefit of the doubt in  her  vibration, then you can start reaching farther with saying  statements  such as &#8220;My setting skills are becoming amazing. Everyone can  tell I am  getting really good at it.&#8221; There are many statements that  she can say  and then believe fully, and you will know best which ones to  support  her through and guide her to. She can also &#8220;practice&#8221; in her   imagination. Have her sit quietly and &#8220;see herself&#8221; in her mind doing   the skills with amazing grace and precision. <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> will not   know that she is not really doing it, and will help her on the real   court. Be sure she doesn&#8217;t visualize failures, but rather imagines   herself being amazing. She will draw on these attraction momentum   builders when she goes out there for real. You supporting her is huge,   because many of us quit when the world tells us we are kidding   ourselves. But we are not kidding ourselves, and having someone you love   and trust help you practice these tools for expansion is very  powerful.  Let me know if this approach works in your case. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/the_four_agreements_by_don_miguel_ruiz.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1614" title="the_four_agreements_by_don_miguel_ruiz" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/the_four_agreements_by_don_miguel_ruiz.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="291" /></a>Today I am going to take the third agreement from the book <a title="miguelruiz.com" href="http://www.miguelruiz.com/" target="_self">“The Four Agreements”</a> by Don Miguel Ruiz and relate it to my understanding of the<strong><em> Law of Attraction</em></strong>. If you haven’t read Part 3 of this series, you can click <a title="Learn To Be (Part 3)" href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/2011/02/21/learn-to-be-more-agreeable-with-yourself-part-3/" target="_blank">HERE</a> to see it before you read this post. In his book, the author discusses   how we inherit  certain beliefs as we grow from infancy into adulthood.   The beliefs we  hold come to form the basis for what we call “truth”  in  the world, and  our behavior is vastly shaped by those beliefs. We  make  an agreement with ourselves to call these beliefs “reality” and to  not  question them in our own minds. But if you adopt new agreements,   replacing the old ones, and decide to guide your life by them, your can   transform your life in a powerful way. Remember that the four NEW   agreements are:</p>
<p>1.     Be impeccable with your word.</p>
<p>2.     Don’t take anything personally.</p>
<p>3.     Don’t make assumptions.</p>
<p>4.     Always do your best.</p>
<p>The third agreement, <em>“Don&#8217;t Make Assumptions”</em> is an all-important one as it relates to the <em>Law of Attraction</em>. To &#8220;assume,&#8221; as an old, wise, yet humorous saying goes, makes an &#8220;ass&#8221; out of &#8220;u&#8221; and &#8220;me.&#8221;  The official definition of the word is:</p>
<p><em><strong>assumption |əˈsəm(p) sh ən|</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>noun</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>1 a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof.</strong></em></p>
<p>Assuming, by definition, means that you have no real proof that the event or situation is true, and it also means that you have a choice in terms of how you perceive the event or situation. We all make assumptions, often quite unconsciously, all the time. We might hear a beep in traffic and assume that someone is mad at us (when they really might know us), or we might assume that someone is ignoring us (when they just didn&#8217;t notice us). Assumptions become part of our daily routine and, over time, we ascribe our assumptions to blocks of reality that we never dare to question. The real question is, <em>do your assumptions serve your greater sense of well being, and do you assumptions help you feel better in this moment?</em> If you answered &#8220;yes and yes&#8221; then you are doing well with this third agreement.</p>
<p>Remember that the <em>Law of Attraction</em> responds to your average vibrational offering, and this vibration is always changing as you think and feel, and think and feel your way through every day. When you feel good, you are attracting the things that will feel good when they manifest. Likewise, when you feel bad or disconnected, you are attracting things that won&#8217;t feel great when they manifest. Yet being human on planet Earth means feeling good sometimes and bad other times&#8230;the key is to feel better, and to move your average vibration higher and higher. You do this by the thoughts you choose. Your assumptions directly affect your thoughts.</p>
<p>The next time you feel a disconnected thought, or a feeling that feels bad, notice if the thought is connected to an assumption you are making. Are you assuming that you hurt someone&#8217;s feelings? Are you assuming that you failed someone? Might you be assuming that something in the future will go wrong? In almost every case, you have a choice to drop the assumption and feel better in the moment. Because you have no real proof of the validity of the assumption, why not just ignore the possibility for now, until you get a better sense for what has, or what will, happen? I have noticed that I make assumptions that I can never prove, such as if a stranger thought I was nice of not. I may never see the person again, and I don&#8217;t need to assume anything about the interaction&#8230;the experience is only in my mind once it is over, and I get to choose how I perceive it.</p>
<p>Because I practice the conscious art of the <em>Law of Attraction</em>, I like to take this agreement one step further by being selective about my assumptions. If I make an assumption that feels bad, I do my best to drop it. But if I make an assumption that feels good, I just roll with it. A simple example would be: if I assume that something bad is going to happen I just let go of the thought, and remind myself that it is merely an assumption. But if I have a thought that all is well, or that something good will happen, I embrace the better-feeling thought and let it permeate my vibration. So my agreement with myself is really: <em>&#8220;Make No Bad-feeling Assumptions.&#8221; </em></p>
<p>I hope this makes sense to you. You have the power to feel better and better, and to attract the life you have been asking for and wanting. It is yours for the taking, as long as you are open to noticing how you feel. Use this agreement to your advantage and see the difference it can make in your life today. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/optimism.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1719" title="optimism" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/optimism.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a>Today I would like to bring you some tips for using <em>optimism</em> to your advantage. Optimism is a key tool in harnessing the full power of the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, and it is nothing more than being picky about the thoughts you choose to think. Each person has a vibrational range, and this range is determined by the average feeling or vibrational content of the thoughts you have been thinking. If you haven&#8217;t read the GP post on <em>Using the Emotional Scale</em>, you may want to read it first by clicking <a title="GP post Emotional Scale" href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/2010/01/18/understanding-and-using-the-emotional-scale/" target="_self">HERE</a>. You only have access to thoughts that are close to your vibrational range, so trying to feel optimism when you are feeling doubt is next to impossible to do. But I like optimism as a default &#8220;go to&#8221; vibration for several reasons. Even if you are in the vibrational range of doubt, your job is to find the <em>best thought that you have vibrational access to</em>. Instead of having to remember what emotional label is above doubt (in this case it is <em>disappointment</em>) I reach for &#8220;an optimistic thought&#8221; in my range, which might move me into a little higher vibration. I find this easier to do (at least for me) than trying to feel disappointment. I reach for &#8220;optimistic doubt&#8221; and I land in something that feels better than doubt. From there, I do the same thing again and find some thoughts that could be called &#8220;optimistic disappointment,&#8221; even if I don&#8217;t use that label.</p>
<p>I believe that optimism is especially powerful because it includes a reference to both sides of the issue: the glass is half full, or it is half empty. It helps you choose to focus on the side of the issue that tells a better story. It looks objectively at something and makes the most out of it. It is a launching pad for climbing the emotional scale on any issue. It recognizes the choices you have with two distinct paths, one that leads you closer to where you want to be, and one that leads you away from your desired emotional destination. It is the opposite of delusional; it is grounded and realistic while still being a reach on the vibrational scale. (Incidentally, you can make a good case for the concept of being delusional too, forgetting about &#8220;reality&#8221; completely and giving thought only to your goal. Many successful people call this &#8220;being focused.&#8221;)</p>
<p>Do you consider yourself to be an optimist? I know some people that pride themselves on being a self-described &#8220;devil&#8217;s advocate&#8221; and finding the fault in any idea, plan, or brainstorm. They feel that they play an important role in the conversation by bringing everyone down to a realistic level. But they actually do themselves a disservice by lowering their own <em>emotional set point</em> of vibration, which inevitably keeps them feeling worse and worse. The &#8220;important role&#8221; of pessimist keeps them from manifesting their desires and askings, and their <strong><em>Source</em></strong> will never take a pessimistic view of anything&#8230;so they live out of alignment with their own inner being.</p>
<p>Notice today what your thoughts and words feel like. Are they optimistic or pessimistic? Do your thoughts and words lead you to feelings that feel better or feelings that worse?  Just notice. If you find that you inject part your day with pessimism, acknowledge that <em>optimism is a choice</em>, just as pessimism is also a choice. Each can be practiced just as easily as the other. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Money.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1705" title="Money" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Money-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>When you decided that you wanted more money and prosperity in all areas of your life, you probably came to that conclusion through not having enough. In fact, the less you have, the stronger your asking becomes. When you ask strongly through the experience of contrast, you create and draw to you the perfect solution in proportion to the asking. The circumstances that caused you to want more don&#8217;t magically disappear once you have asked strongly and the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> has answered, however. There is always a buffer of time between the asking and the receiving. This is a good thing, because if there was instant manifestation, the world would be a chaotic place of drastic changes and you would not have the security of aligning with the vibration in real time.</p>
<p>And aligning is what your job is&#8230;once you have asked. So you realize that your money is running out, and you ask for more, and then you feel better, and then&#8230;BAM&#8230;an unexpected bill comes in the mail. And then you spiral downward into the asking vibration again. You might even pile on and reinforce the feeling with words &#8220;I&#8217;ll never get out of this mess,&#8221; or &#8220;what&#8217;s the use, I am destined to be broke forever.&#8221; These words are a natural outpouring in a step one, asking moment. But your job is to reach for statements that<em> feel a little better</em>, and to see if you can move closer to the receiving of the prosperity.</p>
<p>Receiving anything is connected to your ability to feel as if you have it NOW. You must do your best to imagine it, talk about it, take actions related to it, and enjoy the feeling of having it&#8230;in the present moment. <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> matches you with whatever you are vibrating, and you can&#8217;t receive your prosperity when you are so very aware of NOT having enough. But how do you feel like you have enough when you clearly don&#8217;t have enough? It&#8217;s all about feeling better.</p>
<p>If you are depressed about not having more money, see if you can feel angry about it for a few minutes. If anger is achieved, reach for something&#8230;anything&#8230;that gives you some relief. Maybe worry feels better. Only you know for sure. But keep reaching. The emotional/vibrational scale looks something like this:</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff0000;">Joy/Knowledge/Empowerment/Freedom/Love/Appreciation/Bliss<br />
Passion<br />
Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness<br />
Positive Expectation/Belief<br />
Optimism<br />
Hopefulness<br />

Pessimism<br />
Frustration/Impatience/Irritation<br />
Overwhelment<br />
Disappointment<br />
Doubt<br />
Worry<br />
Blame<br />
Discouragement<br />
Anger<br />
Revenge<br />
Hatred/Rage<br />

Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness<br />
Fear/Grief/Depression/Despair/Powerlessness</span></p>
<p>Once you feel yourself getting to at least hopeful, you are nearing the place where <em>Law of Attraction</em> can bring you what you have asked for. When you get into this range, I recommend that you fuel it a bit with some specific <strong><em>affirmations</em></strong> that help you maintain the feeling, and that even increase it to a better-feeling level. Here are a few of my favorites:</p>
<ol>
<li><em>I always have enough money. When I am in need, something comes through at exactly the right time.<br />
</em></li>
<li><em>Unexpected income is speeding toward me right now. I fully accept this fact and receive the gifts today.</em></li>
<li><em>I am always provided for in every way. I am content and expectant. I know good things are on the way right now.</em></li>
<li><em>I expect to see evidence of my new prosperity today. I will look and see this evidence, no matter how small.<br />
</em></li>
<li><em>I bless my path today, and I expect more to come to me. I am open to receiving gifts beyond my wildest dreams.</em></li>
<li><em>I have asked, and now I allow my well being. I feel ready to receive strongly right now.</em></li>
<li><em>Bills or no bills, I love this life, and I relax into my prosperity. All is well.</em></li>
<li><em>I am grateful for my perfect timing in all things. My expanded income is rushing into my consciousness. I am rich in so many ways right now.<br />
</em></li>
<li><em>Love and light and expansion are who I am. I am ready to receive expanded riches and wellness.<br />
</em></li>
<li><em>My work is done. I relax and allow money to flow to me. I act on inspiration as I feel it. I am powerfully connected to my wellness. </em></li>
</ol>
<p>When you repeat these words, let yourself enjoy their vibrational pull. Don&#8217;t doubt it, but rather enjoy the feeling of having everything you want right now. Be childlike in your imagination. Have fun with it. The bills should not keep you from feeling better right now, and if you allow and let this process work for you, a vibrational manifestation of prosperity MUST be your experience. It is Universal Law. Once you feel better, the &#8220;real world&#8221; will shift and you will see hard and fast evidence of your creation through the contrast. Let it happen, don&#8217;t doubt it, and be well and prosperous today. Chris-GP</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/the_next_step.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1681" title="the_next_step" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/the_next_step-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>There are times when we all feel like we are in what I call a &#8220;cycle of sameness.&#8221; You start the day, and it feels like the same day you lived yesterday, which felt like the day before that, and so on and so on. And even though it feels at times like things are not changing, in reality, things are always changing. However, it is possible to be in a vibration that feels like things are not changing&#8230;yet things are changing&#8230;to the same thing! You might say that if things are changing to the same thing, they aren&#8217;t really changing at all. But there is a slight and very meaningful difference between staying the same and changing to the same thing.</p>
<p>If it was possible to live in a reality that didn&#8217;t change, then you would need to muster the energy to pull yourself out of a stall and get things changing. It would be like you are a rock climber that needs a rope to ascend a peak. All your efforts, and maybe a little help from others, would be required to get moving again. But you are not a rock climber who is stuck on a ledge&#8230;not at all.</p>
<p>In contrast to this, think of yourself as an adventurer in a canoe on a river that is moving moderately fast. In order for you to feel like things are not changing, you need to paddle against the stream and keep your eyes on the shore. You have to keep up the work, and focus on what you are doing, just to stay in the same place. But the water beneath you continues to move, and while it looks the same to you, everything is changing around you. If you want to experience a feeling of change, you can either stop paddling, or turn around and paddle down the stream instead.</p>
<p>This analogy makes sense if you connect your thoughts and vibrational energy to the work you do paddling in the stream. If you feel stuck, then you have developed patterns of thinking and feeling that haven&#8217;t changed in a while. You may be making assumptions about reality that you do not need to. You may be working to justify your point of view in your thoughts, feelings, and actions. The stream is always flowing, and you can always choose to go with the flow at any moment.</p>
<p>Going with the flow means letting go of the struggle. It means being <em>open to thinking in new patterns</em>. It means reaching for thoughts that <em>feel better</em> and better. But a thought you have thought over and over for a long time can feel like an inescapable anchor, because vibrations gain significant momentum over time. So sometimes it is easier to change your actions as you begin to change your thoughts.</p>
<p>One way to change your actions is to simply observe what actions you habitually do every day. Do you brush your teeth before you shower? Do you always do certain things is certain ways? Start mixing it up and see how you feel. Today, shower before you brush your teeth. Take the stairs in stead of the elevator. Call a friend who you haven&#8217;t talked to in a while. Meditate for ten minutes. Take a walk. Find ways to change your patterns of action, and then start to observe how making these changes affects how you feel. And don&#8217;t be surprised if the pattern change is less comfortable at first. As <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> matches your new vibration, you will see the world around you change, and new and exciting events will be more apparent to you. You will begin to be inspired to follow new paths, and you will feel better and better as you make these new journeys.</p>
<p>There is always the next step in our eternally-unfolding experience. Embrace it, open to it, and let yourself enjoy the motion forward. All it takes is a little willingness to grow and change. Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/the_four_agreements_by_don_miguel_ruiz.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1614" title="the_four_agreements_by_don_miguel_ruiz" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/the_four_agreements_by_don_miguel_ruiz.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="291" /></a>Today I am going to take the first agreement from the book <a title="miguelruiz.com" href="http://www.miguelruiz.com/" target="_self">“The Four Agreements”</a> by Don Miguel Ruiz and relate it to my understanding of the<strong><em> Law of Attraction</em></strong>. If you haven&#8217;t read Part 1 of this series, you can click <a title="The Four Agreements (Part 1)" href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/2010/11/23/learn-to-be-more-agreeable-with-yourself-part-1/" target="_blank">HERE</a> to see it before you read this post. In his book, the author discusses how we inherit  certain beliefs as we grow from infancy into adulthood. The beliefs we  hold come to form the basis for what we call “truth” in the world, and  our behavior is vastly shaped by those beliefs. We make an agreement with ourselves to call these beliefs &#8220;reality&#8221; and to not question them in our own minds. But if you adopt new agreements, replacing the old ones, and decide to guide your life by them, your can transform your life in a powerful way. Remember that the four NEW agreements are:</p>
<p>1.     Be impeccable with your word.</p>
<p>2.     Don’t take anything personally.</p>
<p>3.     Don’t make assumptions.</p>
<p>4.     Always do your best.</p>
<p>The first agreement, <em>&#8220;Be impeccable with your word&#8221;</em> is not easy to understand at first.</p>

(of behavior, performance, or appearance) in accordance with the highest standards of propriety; faultless : a man of impeccable character.<br />
• rare Theology not liable to sin.</p>
<p>Does it mean that you have to only use certain words, or that you have to monitor your speech in ways that feel unnatural? Not at all. If you think about the <em>Law of Attraction</em>, and if you remember that <em>LoA</em> responds to your vibration, the &#8220;word&#8221; takes on a more profound meaning. The words you think to yourself, and that you speak to others, create a vibrational average that we call your <strong><em>point of attraction</em></strong>. When your thoughts and words are in alignment with your <strong><em>Source Energy</em></strong>, then you feel a strong connection and flow which is translated into an experience of <em>feeling good</em>. Another way to say this is: if you use words that align with <em>Source</em>, you feel good. In fact, if you feel emotions that feel less-than-good, you can be sure that you have been practicing thoughts that are not aligning with your <em>Source</em>.</p>
<p>So what does <em>Source Energy</em> think about you and anyone in this reality? That is the million-dollar question, because it is the key to feeling good, being in the flow of life, attracting the life you want, and using the magic of <em>Law of Attraction</em> to manifest everything you have been wanting. <em>Source Energy</em> loves you. It knows that you are good, and it knows that you are worthy. It sees the best in others, it sees the best in you, and it knows that you are perfect in your eternal imperfection. It rejoices every time you expand and become more than you were. It understands that the purpose of life is joy and expansion. It uplifts, loves, expands, and celebrates every moment. Get in the flow of <em>Source</em>, and you feel good. Feel good more of the time, and you attract more things that help you feel good. It is a cycle of thinking and feeling that has no upper limit&#8230;but you have to think like your <em>Source</em>&#8230;and hence you must agree to &#8220;Be impeccable with your word.&#8221;</p>
<p>Being impeccable with my word means, to me, doing my best to love myself and everyone I come into contact with. It means abandoning &#8220;put down&#8221; thinking that normally accompanies gossip. It means reaching for a better-feeling thought more of the time. It means leaving behind preconceptions of myself and others in exchange for vibrational offerings that align more and more with what my <em>Source</em> thinks. It implies that I look for the best in every situation. If you are impeccable with your word, you will not suddenly be perfect. But you will make a new agreement with yourself that will help you feel better and better. You have no eternal cosmic commitment to be disconnected, feeling bad, or a negative realist. You can choose to think the way that feels best, and the door through which you must walk is via your personal word.</p>

		<title>Feeling Good Simply Feels&#8230;Good!</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/pissed-off.png"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1652" title="pissed-off" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/pissed-off.png" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a>There have been time in my life where I didn&#8217;t feel as good as I could have. You must certainly feel the same way. But when these times are upon you, and when you feel that there is no bliss on your emotional radar, don&#8217;t worry. There is no risk to you here on planet Earth in that you will always experience contrast and connection. You will always have times when you feel good and times when you feel bad. All is well. What I want to remind you of today is how good, good feels. Good feels really good, and the most important thing to remember is that no mater how how feel, you can always <em>feel better by reaching for the best thought</em> you have access to. Here&#8217;s one way that I practice this:</p>
<p>If I am going through my day and then I suddenly realize that I am disconnecting from <em><strong>Source Energy</strong></em> (I can tell because I am irritated or basically pissed off about something), my first step is simply to acknowledge what is happening. I don&#8217;t try to fix it, nor do I beat myself up for the way I feel. Instead, I ride out the feeling and I do my best to <em>truly feel it while it is happening</em>. Once I notice it and ride it for a little while, feeling it and simply observing, I wait for it to loose some of it&#8217;s energy. That&#8217;s right&#8230;as long as I don&#8217;t feed it with thoughts that feel worse, it is going to run its course and dissipate a little.</p>
<p>Once my pissy attitude has let down a little, then I have the opportunity to clean it up. What I do is look for any thought that<em> feels better than the one I was just thinking</em>. If I was really upset, this first thought will not sound great to an outside observer. It might be a thought of hatred, anger, revenge, or whatever feels better than what I was feeling in the first place. But I continue to reach and feel, and observe and reflect. In little time, I start feeling optimistic again, and then I am off to the races!</p>
<p>Once I get hold of an optimistic thought, then I have access to tons of thoughts that actually feel good. I can then move into gratitude, expectation, belief, happiness, passion, love, appreciation, and even bliss. And once my day moves into a thought-feeling of &#8220;Optimism&#8221; or higher, then everything seems to start falling together in a positive way. I develop perfect timing, and I become really productive in my job or tasks for the day. <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> works all day, every day, no matter how you feel. It simply lines you up to experience life according to <em>how you feel on average</em>. So if you think and feel, and think and feel, and reach for thoughts that are optimistic, <em>Law of Attraction</em> will match the vibration and expand your experience to the level of optimistic. Life simply works out, and you become one of the &#8220;lucky&#8221; people that seem to be in the right places at the right times.</p>
<p>So if you feel less than optimistic, no worries. Feel your feelings, let them be what they are, don&#8217;t pile on and make it worse or beat yourself up&#8230;and then reach for the relief of a better-feeling thought. It feels bad to feel bad, and it feels oh so geed to feel good. You have the choice to experience your life the way you want it to be. So today, climb your way up to feeling good, because good feels&#8230;well&#8230;Good!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Cloud.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1637" title="Minolta DSC" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Cloud-300x234.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="234" /></a>As a human on Planet Earth, you are certain to have both good and bad days. The good days are fun, and the bad days can really feel bad. When you feel good, the <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> is kicking in to align you with people, events, and circumstances that you have been asking for and wanting over time. When you feel bad you will be attracting people, events, and circumstances that match your vibration of disconnection. Another way to say this is that &#8220;good days get better and bad days get worse.&#8221; No matter how you feel you are always attracting, so <strong><em>feeling better</em></strong> helps you manifest more and more of what you desire. But as you have probably noticed, feeling better when you feel bad can take some deliberate effort because you are not in the vibrational range of connection&#8230;at least not in that moment.</p>
<p>An old saying goes like this: &#8220;<em>Every cloud has a silver lining</em>.&#8221; When you feel bad, the world can feel like a big, gray cloud. But there is always a possibility of finding the best in any moment or situation, and <strong><em>gratitude</em></strong> is an excellent tool for moving from feeling bad to feeling better. When you use gratitude to start moving up the <strong><em>vibrational scale</em></strong>, you should start small and think of the most basic thing that is going well for you. Perhaps the fact that you are alive and breathing feels like a better thought, and if it does, bask in the feeling of your &#8220;aliveness.&#8221; Maybe your most recent meal&#8230;maybe the one you are eating right now&#8230;is worth being grateful for? Enjoy the taste and texture of the food, and ponder how the vitamins and nutrients are feeding your body and soul.</p>
<p>Each individual knows best what they are <em>grateful</em> for, and taking time to count your blessings will give you some relief from a bad day every time. And sometimes all we need during a bad day is to pause, shift a bit, pivot, and move in a slightly different vibrational direction. <em>Gratitude</em> is your best tool for improving a bad day, and with practice, you can be feeling better and better until you actually feel pretty good most of the time. Once you feel good more and more of the time, you can spend more time in the vibrations of <strong><em>love</em></strong>, <strong><em>appreciation</em></strong>, and even <strong><em>bliss</em></strong>!</p>
<p>Every cloud does have a sliver lining, and you can find it if you look for it. Say &#8220;Thank You&#8221; more often, and let yourself be <em>grateful</em> for the things you already have. For example, you may want better health and more money, yet you may seem to get over a cold much easier than you expand your bank account. But <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> works the same way for big things as it does for small things. The main difference is how our practiced thoughts become more and more common in our thinking. Once you practice a thought long enough, YOU begin to believe it, and then <em>Law of Attraction</em> has no problem sending you manifestations to match the beliefs. In other words, when you believe it, you will see it&#8230;but to believe it requires some deliberate focus and practiced vibrational allowing.</p>
<p>Getting the knack of manifesting your desires is as easy as holding on to an <em>intention</em>, and then giving it your full <em>attention</em>. You have to believe it will come true, and through trial and error you can convince yourself that <em>Law of Attraction</em> does, in fact, work. I suggest that you start small, and then work your way up to bigger and bigger things. One way that I like to manifest every day is to allow parking spaces to appear for me. Here&#8217;s how I do it&#8230;</p>
<p>I work at a large University that has unbelievably limited parking for the 35,000 students and 3,000 faculty members looking for a place to leave a car for the day. Paying for a parking pass is just a license to hunt for an empty space, and not a guarantee that one will be available. There was a time when I would experience daily frustration with my inability to park close to my office on campus. I decided to use the <em>Law of Attraction</em> and vibrational allowing to manifest a new condition. Instead of dreading the parking hunt, I decided to use <em>affirmations</em> to change my focus as I neared the campus. Several minutes before I would arrive, I would start saying the following to myself:</p>
<ul>
<li>I always get a parking spot.</li>
<li>Spaces always open up for me.</li>
<li>I am in perfect timing to get a parking spot.</li>
<li>I need not rush or worry because my spot will be available as soon as I arrive.</li>
<li>No one can get my spot because it will appear as I approach.</li>
<li>My parking is assured. I am in alignment with parking.</li>
<li>I am a master at manifesting parking.</li>
<li>I can&#8217;t wait to see which space opens up for me.</li>
<li>A space will probably be waiting for me.</li>
</ul>
<p>At first, these thoughts and affirmations seemed merely like optimistic and wishful thinking. And at first, parking didn&#8217;t open up every time. But as I practiced these thoughts, I began to feel <em>that the words were true.</em> And the next miracle was that parking spaces suddenly started becoming available to me when I needed them. These days, it is a very rare occasion that I don&#8217;t just cruise into a spot when I get to campus, and even in the lot closest to my office. I have come to expect that a single spot will be waiting for me. I &#8220;see it&#8221; opening up as I pull up, and either it is open, or someone is walking to their car to leave as I arrive. Pretty cool. Thank you <em>Law of  Attraction</em>!</p>
<p>This doesn&#8217;t work as consistently, however, when I don&#8217;t take the time to get into an allowing vibration or think my affirmations before I arrive on campus. If I am hurried or stressed, I am likely to hunt for 20–30 minutes before a space opens up, and usually far from my office. I love the fact that I can make it work 95% of the time if I relax, think deliberately, believe, and attract the space to me.</p>
<p>You can do this too! What do you want? Start small and work your way up to bigger things. Give your undivided <em>attention to your intentions</em>, and get on the road to believing that they will manifest. If you want more money, see small amounts flowing to you. Think multiple thoughts of money flowing to you from everywhere. Believe that it is possible for more money to flow to you. Then as you see evidence of a little money coming in from an unexpected source, affirm that more is on the way. Soon you will have a flood of prosperity being attracted into your experience. Most days I value parking spaces more than money, because no amount of money can get me a space when I need it, but <em>Law of Attraction</em> can make it happen. Today, identify a desire and then just &#8220;see it&#8221; coming to you in some small way. Play with the feeling of having it. Enjoy the feeling of attracting the things you want with little effort&#8230;just deliberate thoughts. You will soon be convinced that your thoughts create your world, and then you will be able to change the world! Enjoy this most amazing day!  Chris-GP</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/healthyOldAge.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1515" title="healthyOldAge" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/healthyOldAge.jpg" alt="" width="298" height="209" /></a>I heard someone talking the other day about how a decline in health is normal as you age. The statement me think about all the people I know who fit this belief, but also about those that do not. I personally know people who are completely well and thriving, and some are young and some are quite old. Likewise, I know people who are not well&#8230;some of whom are young and some of whom are old. So it seems that if wellness and health must decline in age, there is evidence that the decline does not happen at the same rate for everyone. There must be variables that make this difference real, and I would guess that most, if not all, of these factors are related to things that we can control if we choose to.</p>
<p>We are told by health professionals that good nutrition and exercise are important to good health, and we are bombarded by the media with health-conscious ads and shows to remind us of the wellness that is available to us. If we just buy their products or do their program, or buy their food, we will be instantly healthy and well, right? Certainly eating right and exercising ARE important to wellness. But what about healthy thinking? What part do the thoughts you think play on your health and well being? They probably play a huge part!</p>
<p>So what do I mean by &#8220;healthy thinking?&#8221; In the same way that you wouldn&#8217;t put poisons in your body on purpose, you don&#8217;t have to default to poisonous thoughts either. Poisonous thoughts make you feel worse and worse, and often they have self-deprecating tones like &#8220;I am a loser,&#8221; or &#8220;things never work out for me,&#8221; or &#8220;I&#8217;m not good enough,&#8221; or &#8220;no one likes me.&#8221; Any thought you think that feels like these statements actually causes a cognitive dissonance to be created in your vibration. You see, <strong><em>Source Energy</em></strong> never thinks about you the same way that those poisonous thoughts feel, and when you feel different that <em>Source</em>, you feel bad and worse. You move down the <strong><em>emotional/vibrational scale</em></strong> as you move away from <em>Source Energy</em>. Over time your body and mind take a beating from this dissonance of vibration, and it eventually will show up as a physical symptom of some kind: a cold, a headache, a sickness, or even a dangerous accident. <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> reads this dissonance and hears something like &#8220;I am in conflict with myself. I am like a house divided.&#8221; You then manifest events and experiences that match this vibration. You will miss your chances for success and you will not feel the magic that could be in your life.</p>
<p>Your thoughts are just as important as eating and exercising well, and thoughts may be a major factor in the young/sick&#8230;old/well scenario that you can observe everyday. Why not feed yourself healthy thoughts like &#8220;I am getting better and better everyday,&#8221; or &#8220;things just seem to work out for me,&#8221; or &#8220;I forgive myself and everyone in my life,&#8221; or &#8220;I allow wellness as my natural state of being.&#8221; By feeding yourself more <strong><em>optimistic</em></strong> thoughts, you align with <em>Source</em>, and you maximize the vibrational harmony available to you in every moment of your life. Feed yourself healthy thoughts, and then expect wellness to be your experience. If you get inspired to eat and exercise better, go for those experiences too. <em>Law of Attraction</em> will help you expand into this new wellness by attracting new ideas, opportunities, and ideas to your experience.
