It&#8217;s exhilarating to enjoy life as a conscious creator. Once you know that <em><strong>everything you want</strong></em> comes to you through your attention to a subject, and that <strong><em>everything you don&#8217;t want </em></strong>comes to you through your attention to it, then all you have to do is focus on the things you want&#8230;and minimize the rest. Some people beat themselves up when they can&#8217;t seem to stay positive, or when they notice that they are thinking about unwanted things. Thoughts ARE powerful, but they don&#8217;t grab hold of your reality and manifest into events immediately. There is no need to worry. When you give your attention to things you want, and make the best of every experience you have, you are on the right track to creating the life you want.</p>
<p>If you fall into thoughts of lack, fear or anger, it&#8217;s totally alright, and you can always redirect and start again. There is never a point where you can&#8217;t begin again, because life is eternal. The Universe is eternal. Your consciousness is eternal. There is no one right way to be. There is only NOW, and all you have is this moment to enjoy and expand into. You don&#8217;t even need to analyze your thoughts to see what is coming to you&#8230;instead, pay close attention to how you feel. When you are inspired to action, that is because you are in alignment with your greater askings and desires. If you feel bad about an action you are thinking about taking, you are not aligned with the action, and it probably won&#8217;t bring you closer to a happy manifestation.</p>
<p>For fun, let every manifestation be a lesson in how you have been doing in terms of focusing on what you want to create. Let every event be evidence of how you are focusing. From a "realistic" and practical standpoint, it would stand to reason that the more you give, the less you actually have. In fact, the opposite is true. Remember that the Universe is based on the Law of Attraction, and that you can't hold one vibration and attract a different vibrational experience at the same time. You get what you are a match to. You get more of what you are thinking and living on a regular basis. It all happens magically, through the ever-consistent and every-fair Law of Attraction.]]></description>

It can be scary. It can bring up all kinds of stuff around abundance, worthiness, and thoughts of lack. From a &#8220;realistic&#8221; and practical standpoint, it would stand to reason that <em>the more you give, the less you actually have</em>. In fact, the opposite is true. Remember that the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> is based on the <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, and that you can&#8217;t hold one vibration and attract a different vibrational experience at the same time. You get what you are a match to. You get more of what you are thinking and living on a regular basis. It all happens magically, through the ever-consistent and every-fair <em>Law of Attraction.</em></p>
<p>If you are unaware of the average vibration you are maintaining, just look to see how your life is unfolding. Are you excited about what has come and also about what is yet to come? Are you knowing that through your thoughts you are allowing the energy that will let the essence of what you want to flow easily to you? If you are, keep on doing what you are doing&#8230;it&#8217;s working for you. If not, consider looking at your patterns of giving, with this slight twist: <em>Giving can be, but doesn&#8217;t have to be, about money.</em></p>
<p>Giving is a state of vibration where you give your love and appreciation freely to everyone and everything in your experience. You certainly can leave a bigger tip for a waitress, or buy something for a friend as a surprise, or donate money to a charity&#8230;this is all a form of giving. But if you are doing this and asking &#8220;why am I not receiving in proportion to my giving?&#8217; you may be stuck in the way you give love, gratitude, and appreciation. The next time you notice someone who has the &#8220;stuff&#8221; you want, be it a job, a car, a relationship, a website, or whatever, pay attention to how you feel about them. Are you jealous? Do you feel afraid that they might be taking all the pieces of the pie and leaving you behind? Do you get nervous that they might keep you away from the stuff you are hoping to attract? Almost everyone has a tendency to do this, and you can decide right now to pay closer attention to these thoughts from now on. Just decide that when you see someone enjoying the very things you are wanting, you will stop, change the directions of your thoughts away from withholding gratitude and appreciation, to fully giving love, appreciation and gratitude to them.</p>
<p>When you give the best of your vibration, loving and appreciating these people, <em>you become a match to what they have</em>. You no longer vibrate as a person who can&#8217;t get these things, but rather as a person who is part of these things. You enjoy the things as if they were yours, and you give them every bit of your gratitude for letting you share, even from the sidelines, a little piece of their success. This is giving too. If you have asked, you stuff exists. It just takes time for it to be seen in your daily life (at least to the point that YOU will admit it's there!) But I am here to remind you that your "stuff" is peeking at you all the time. Let's say, for example, that you are asking for more money and prosperity to show up in your experience. You asked (vibrationally) when you felt like you didn't have enough money, and now you are relaxing and letting Law of Attraction line you up with your new fortune. You are doing well. It's time to savor the abundance in your life.]]></description>

Let&#8217;s say, for example, that you are asking for more money and prosperity to show up in your experience. You asked (vibrationally) when you felt like you didn&#8217;t have enough money, and now you are relaxing and letting <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> line you up with your new fortune. You are doing well. It&#8217;s time to savor the abundance in your life.</p>
<p>As you move through the day, see how the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> is lining you up with the <em>essence</em> of abundance and prosperity, and then savor and enjoy it. Perhaps you get a call from a friend to house sit, and then they also need you to run a few errands in their car as well. Notice that you are suddenly living in a nicer house than the one you rent, and that the car you are driving is much like the one you have imagined as your next car. <em>It&#8217;s yours now! </em>I know you might say, but the point is that it&#8217;s NOT mine. <em>That IS the problem.</em> And if you look at it that way, then I agree that you have a problem. When you see these things as reminders of what you DON&#8217;T have, you move away from your stuff. When you savor it as an added expansion in your present experience, you help allow your stuff to come to you.</p>
<p>What I am suggesting you do today is notice how the things you want are in your experience today already. You have friends when nice people chat with you in the grocery line, and you have beautiful things to appreciate in stores, even if you choose not to buy them right now. Your new car is suddenly everywhere you look, and your new relationship is just behind every smile you see in others. Savor these gifts of abundance and <em>tell yourself that it&#8217;s all here right now.</em> This will keep you feeling good and open to receiving everything you want. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/voices-1.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1374" title="voices 1" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/voices-1-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a>I was walking the other day and started noticing the voices in my head. Before you think I am crazy (which my friends would say I might be) remember that we all talk to ourselves in our mind. There seems to be a constant chatter going on commenting on everything that is happening all the time. Sometimes when I meditate I can get it to calm down but it is mostly always there. You probably have noticed the same thing.</p>
<p>So on my walk I started observing what the chatter in my mind was. I think because of the rhythm I was walking to, I was mostly singing songs to myself. The songs were songs I know or have known from my past. I had to ask the question, &#8220;what vibration am I reinforcing with these songs?&#8221; I know <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> always hears what you say and vibrate. The words to the song I had in my head when I started noticing all of this went like this: <em>shot to the heart and you&#8217;re to blame&#8230;you give love a bad name!</em>&#8221; I like this song, and I love Bon Jovi. But I had to decide if it was a good use of my walk and inner talk time to be repeating these words to myself. So for fun, I sang the song but changed the words a bit: <em>love with your heart it keeps you sane&#8230;I give love a good name!</em>&#8221; Just singing the new words to myself made me laugh and smile, and I swear I could feel my vibration raise. I felt better. So notice today what you say to yourself and see if it raises your vibration. If it doesn&#8217;t then change the words, the song, of the theme of your inner voices. It works for me and perhaps you will feel a positive difference in your vibration too. I hope so.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t tend to sing songs, just notice what you say to yourself in your mind. Are you kind to yourself, or do you put yourself down? Are you optimistic, or do you expect things to go wrong for you? You are in charge of the words you think. You have the control to make a positive change at any time you choose to. <em>Law of Attraction</em> will always respond and magnify your average vibration, and the words you think and the way you feel is what creates this vibration. In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be "done" and can then "arrive" in some new place or mindset. We might say "I'll be happy when I can pay these bills'" or a similar statement. When you do this, you use Law of Attraction to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only responds to your vibration and not your words. So saying "I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens" keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place. We are eternal beings, and there is no "there" to get to. The best way to have everything you want right now is to enjoy everything you have right now.  There is a perfection in our imperfection...our journey can't be completed...because it never ends. So don't wish for the better day to come. ]]></description>

I get the feeling that if I just try a little harder, or focus a little more I will finally be done doing the thing I am doing. This can certainly be true when the thing is paying the bills, or painting a house, or doing the dishes. But what about when you assign that frame of mind to larger aspects of your life, like attaining enlightenment, perfecting your tennis game, or becoming wealthy and prosperous? In these cases we often assign our happiness to a future time when we will be &#8220;done&#8221; and can then &#8220;arrive&#8221; in some new place or mindset.</p>
<p>Have you ever heard yourself say: &#8220;I&#8217;ll be happy when I can pay these bills&#8217;&#8221; or a similar statement. When you do this, you use <em><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></em> to your disadvantage. Remember that the Law of Attraction only <em>responds to your vibration and not your words</em>. So saying &#8220;I will put off my happiness until later in the future when this thing happens&#8221; keeps the thing from happening, and keeps you in an unhappy place.</p>

If you love your NOW, you will start ushering in amazing new NOWS as your future becomes the present over and over again. You will no longer long for your work to be over so you can relax into your wellbeing, because you will already be relaxing into the best part&#8230;and the ONLY part we have access to&#8230;the present. <p>For all of our <strong><em>Gratitude Planet</em></strong> community located outside of the United States who might not know it, today is Independence Day in the US. It&#8217;s a day to reflect on all the gifts we have, all the people that we appreciate, and the freedoms we enjoy in an open society. People are generally off work and are gathering with friends and family for a cookout and a local parade. It&#8217;s the perfect day to whip up some Gratitude and Thanks, and now is the perfect moment to let the horses run on a rampage of appreciation and gratitude. </p>
<p>Start with <strong>Thanks</strong>. Wherever you are right now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you can think of that you are thankful for. Your inner monologue may be something like &#8220;Thank you for the weather today, thank you for the air I am breathing, thank you for the clothes I am wearing, thank you for the eyes I use to see, thank you for my mind that helps me think, thank you for the &#8230;..&#8221; You get to decide what feels best to you. </p>
<p>Next take two minutes to be <strong>Grateful</strong>. It might go something like this: &#8220;I am grateful for my job (or job prospects), and I am grateful for my amazing living space that feels so good to be in, and I am grateful for my interactions with others, both in person and in cyberspace, and I am grateful for my coffee maker that creates a perfect morning drink for me, and I am grateful for&#8230;&#8221; Again, the words you choose are the right ones for you. Next move to <strong>Appreciation</strong>. Appreciation feels a little more connected than Gratitude, which is why you should move through Thanks, to Gratitude, and then to Appreciation. </p>
<p>So now, take two minutes and mentally list everything you appreciate. Don&#8217;t worry if you repeat some things that you have already said. Your inner monologue may be something like &#8220;I appreciate my spouse who loves me so much, and I appreciate my body and all its health and wisdom, and I appreciate my dog who always seems connected and free, and I appreciate <strong><em>Source Energy</em></strong> and its consistent flow of well-being into my experience, and I appreciate&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>If you do these three simple exercises, you will feel a shift in your vibration. You will move up the <strong>Vibrational Scale</strong>. Your cork will begin to float again&#8230;and you will definitely feel an expansion in the way you <em>feel</em>. You will be able to move into love and bliss. You will have done the inner work required to change your world for the better. You will be able to carry this vibration into your whole day. If you are in the habit of waking up to a full run and going about your day at light speed, you may be feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially if the pace has been this way for a while. If so, try this approach for a week (if you need to rise earlier to get quiet time in your household, do so): wake and list ten things you appreciate or are grateful for in your life. Hold them to you and be silent. Expand into the wonderful feeling of these gifts in your life. Sit quietly and picture yourself doing the things you love to do. See yourself sailing, or painting, or singing, or dancing, or laughing with others, or enjoying your new house, or your new relationship, or whatever...you know best and you get to choose.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hard-work.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1309" title="hard-work" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hard-work-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></a>As consciousness having a human experience on planet Earth, we are by nature &#8220;doers.&#8221; We like to do things, and we like to see results from our actions. It is easy to start seeing our actions as the only way things come to us, and to put artificial pressure on ourselves to &#8220;do more&#8221; and to &#8220;be motivated.&#8221; Working harder can be fun, and seeing better and better results feels very good. But if you are seeing fewer results from your efforts than you would like to, it may be a good time to examine how you have been approaching your actions. Have you been inspired, or just motivated? If you have been a regular visitor to <a title="Gratitude Planet" href="http://www.gratitudeplanet.com" target="_blank"><em>GratitudePlanet.com</em></a>, you know that we encourage being present and expanding into <strong><em>not doing</em></strong> anything sometimes.</p>
<p>Not doing is a powerful way to let go and to <em>allow</em>. However, it doesn&#8217;t mean that you should sit in your house and wait for someone to come feed, clothe, and exercise your body for you! There is a time for not doing, and there is a time for doing. If you are in the habit of waking up to a full run and going about your day at light speed, you may be feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially if the pace has been this way for a while. If so, try this approach for a week (if you need to rise earlier to get quiet time in your household, do so): wake and list <em>ten things</em> you appreciate or are grateful for in your life. Hold them to you and be silent. Expand into the wonderful feeling of these gifts in your life. Sit quietly and picture yourself doing the things you love to do. Don&#8217;t put limits on your own mind, and just allow yourself to experience these thoughts as if they were already a manifested experience in your reality.</p>
<p>As you do this exercise, you will start to receive important information from the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> in the form of new pictures in your imagination, or in the form of a feeling of inspiration. You will come to a new awareness and clarity about what only you can do this day. You will get a clearer sense of your priorities and goals for the day, and you will be <em>inspired to move forward into action</em>. When you feel this, stop the meditation exercise and start the action side of your day, following the inspiration you have received.</p>
<p>Actions that are undertaken with uninspired motivation are harder to accomplish, less fun, and leave you feeling worse than before you did the action. <em>Inspired action</em> puts you into the flow of the <em>Universe</em>, so you enjoy the experience more, you have more ease in the process, and you have perfect timing with resources appearing effortlessly as they are needed. You will attract the things you need through <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong>, and you will feel the perfection of the process more and more. Inspired action is easy and invigorating. Motivation can be draining over time. So today, notice how you are moving into your doing phase. Try this inspiration meditation for a week and journal all the things you accomplish. It is usually uttered with a sarcastic tone that implies that the thing in question is unlikely to materialize anytime soon. It is, of course, much easier to believe in the "reality" of something when you can see, touch, feel and taste it in your daily experience. Movies like "The Secret" and "What the Bleep Do We Know?" suggest that our thoughts have a huge role to play in the creation of "reality." In fact, the brain has a very difficult time knowing the difference between a "real" event that you are experiencing and an imagined event that you are only thinking. Source Energy is also listening to our thoughts and vibrations, taking both real and imagined realities into account, and saying "YES" to it all!]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/yes-no-buttons1.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1291" title="yes-no-buttons1" src="http://gratitudeplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/yes-no-buttons1-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>Did you know that when you say yes to anything with your words, thoughts, or actions&#8230;the <strong><em>Universe</em></strong> agrees with you and gives you more of it? <strong><em>Law of Attraction</em></strong> makes this so. Likewise, when you say &#8220;NO&#8221; to something unwanted and give it your attention through words, thoughts, or actions&#8230;the <em>Universe</em> also agrees with you and gives you <em><strong>more</strong></em> of it. So it is impossible to give your attention to <em><strong>anything</strong></em> without asking the <em>Universe</em> to bring you more of it&#8230;wanted and unwanted events and experiences flow to you by your simple attention to them.</p>
<p>We have an incredible gift to choose the reality we want to manifest here on planet Earth. No one chooses for you, and no one can vibrate for you either. You attract everything to you, and there are no exceptions. The bottom line here is that you are always in the driver&#8217;s seat of your life, and you should take the wheel and start steering with <strong><em>gratitude</em></strong> and <strong><em>appreciation</em></strong>, focusing on where you are going. Don&#8217;t keep waiting to see something &#8220;real&#8221; materialize before you believe it can come to you; rather, <em>believe it is coming to you</em>, and look for the small, but still very real, hints and clues that it is on the way. Believe it first, and then look for it to be attracted to you through the <em>Law of Attraction</em>. Enjoy the feeling of already having the thing you have imagined. When exercise is fun, fitness is easy. Haven&#8217;t you noticed that the things you actually <em><strong>like to do</strong></em> are always <strong><em>easy to do</em></strong>, and the things you dread the most are almost impossible to bear? I totally understand the mindset that pre-paves both of these experiences, yet it can be difficult to break out of old habits of thought to create and sustain a new vibration around exercise and fitness. Mark Twain (1835-1910) said that &#8220;A habit cannot be tossed out the window; it must be coaxed down the  stairs a step at a time.&#8221;  Sometimes all we need is a little &#8220;get up and go&#8221; (combined with fun) to change our habits a little at a time. Here is what I suggest: Take a <em>Gratitude and Connection Walk</em>. When I walk, I make it more fun by using my imagination, thoughts, and deliberate focus to feel better. Feeling better equals fun to me, and you probably feel much the same way.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how it works. Look at something&#8230;<strong>anything</strong>&#8230;that catches your attention. It can be a house in the neighborhood you are walking through, or a car, or a bird, or a trash can&#8230;anything you observe in your immediate environment.Simply say to yourself &#8220;I see a house&#8230;and I like its (<em>fill in the blank</em>).&#8221; So for example, someone might say, &#8220;I see a car, and I appreciate its deep blue paint job.&#8221; If you see something and you can&#8217;t think of anything to be grateful or appreciative about concerning it, find the <em><strong>best thought you have access to</strong></em> about it. This might sound something like &#8220;I see a dented car, and I appreciate that it&#8217;s not mine!&#8221; It&#8217;s OK if you just chuckle at yourself; but you did well finding something that felt true, and something that was the best thought you could think in the moment. The next thing you see, if you stick to reaching for gratitude and appreciation, will probably provide better things to like. Look for them, find them, and say them. Before long, the vibration within you will start to raise and expand to a very connected and blissful place.</p>
<p>One word of caution, however. This game can be played in the opposite direction, where you put down, make fun of, or become critical of the things you see. This will expand the vibrational range <em>downward</em> to thoughts that feel worse and worse the more you think them. The beauty is that you get to choose the direction that your thoughts flow, and when you feel better, everything looks, tastes, feels, and smells better. Your fifteen-minute walk that used to feel like two hours will feel more like fifteen minutes, and the fun you have raising your vibration will become the immediate payoff for your exercise. Instead of thinking &#8220;I really should take a walk today&#8221; you will begin to crave your <em>Gratitude </em><em>and Connection Time</em> instead. Go ahead and get out today, alone or with a few close friends, and enjoy being deliberate about your joy!  Be.Love, Hannya-GP</p>

What you do is start naming things you love and appreciate, and let it snowball out of control. Let it lift you even higher into Expectation, Belief, Happiness, Passion, Love, and all the way to Bliss! It is important to be feeling at least in the range of <em>optimistic</em> before you try this, because you need access to thoughts that feel good to begin. If you are feeling, say, frustrated you will only have access to thoughts close to frustration, such as irritation or overwhelment. You CAN feel better by moving upward from frustration, but this game is not a good one unless you are already in a connected vibration.</p>
<p>Here is what you do: Say &#8220;I love (<em>fill in the blank</em>). Then say I appreciate (<em>fill in the blank</em>). Then perhaps, I am grateful for (<em>fill in the blank</em>). If you run out of things to love, appreciate or be grateful for, go more into depth about one of the things you already mentioned in a previous statement. For example, if you said &#8220;I appreciate my car,&#8221; and then draw a blank, follow up with &#8220;I love that my car is so dependable.&#8221; The fun really starts when you get a flood of ideas to be grateful for and to appreciate. You start feeling even better, and better, and better. So here is a short rampage from me to you.
